The food quality has declined in the last 18 months- my chicken burrito (shredded ) with red sauce was not edible. The chicken was pink and not shredded but in chunks, the guacamole was brown and the sauce leaked all over the bag. No salsa was given although requested . Will not eat here again read more

Of all of the awesome, authentic Mexican restaurants we have in Ukiah, I have to say that Super Taco ranks far down my list (and I do love good Mexican food). It used to be great, but as a previous reviewer said, it has lost it's charm. The staff is not nearly as friendly as they used to be, and the food has really gone downhill. Also, I find that the restaurant used to be a lot more clean. Not a lot of vegetarian options on the menu (i.e. no veggies in the veggie burrito), and if you do order a veggie burrito, lookout for bits of meat that have found their way into your food. read more

For the LENGUA LOVERS out there jump for JOY at Super Taco!! We made a random stop and were thinking about the Chinese restaurant a door or two down or Super Taco, and something convinced us to go to Super Taco and thank goodness we did! Service was great. My hubby had the carnitas and lengua tacos(2 each) and he has a huge appetite and was satisfied. I picked at his while I was waiting for mine and hahaha... wanted to eat all his food! It was that good! My daughters split a shrimp super quesadilla (age 6 and 3) and they had more than enough for the two of them. Parents my suggestion is when you put in the order request for NO spice, as my daughters at times thought it was a little spicy. This still did not keep me from rating Super Taco a 5 Star though because the LENGUA(typically my favorite taqueria meat) was THE SOFTEST and MOST TENDER EVER! The chips are store bought - disappointing but fine. The quesadilla was a greasy mess that made my tummy sad. I've tried ordering without salsa bit then it doesnt taste good. I've found the meat a bit overcooked a couple times but I have tried to find another place to get a burrito I like better and have never found a match. service is amazingly fast. fast as in by the time i was done ordering at the counter, an employee was waiting for me to pick a seat with my chips and salsa in her hand. by the time you get halfway through your chips, your food will usually be there. we're talking two super burritos in under five minutes. the food is great, and they've perfected the super burrito. they're willing to take things out or substitute and never give you an attitude about it. they have a lot of variety on their menu and their portions are gigantic for the price. if you get a super burrito you'll probably end up taking half to go, although i usually end up eating it like an hour later because it's so good. for some reason i've met a few people with an aversion to this place, possibly because it's in a shopping center, but don't let that fool you. this is one of the best taquerias i've ever been to and i go every time i'm in town (i'm a former local who gets super taco cravings from 500 miles away and has to wait months to satisfy them). read more

I went in and ordered 2 taco combos the girl said 2 tacos combo meals i agreed paid tipped waited not long, got my meal i was happy i get home and it was one box. I called and explained my order was wrong said i wanted my box of rice and beans the girl said ok i restated i would not be paying for my rice and beans she said ok so i went to pick up the rice and beans that i had already ordered the girl went to the back another girl told me i should have said 2 taco combo meals ok i maybe left out meals but i stated 2 taco combos she said the way i was saying it she didn't even understand. so she said you want another rice and beans i said yes she started ring it up i said i was not going to pay since i had already paid and it was a misunderstanding on their part i wasn't trying to get a free meal they put two tacos in my meal witch i agree they did. but again i stated that i ordered two combos she said i understand so if she understood why am i going to pay for another rice and bean. she said she was going to call the cops i said for what she said verbal assulted i said ok call the cops. mr police i have a rice and bean dispute anyway yes i was upset i did not get wait i paid for it was not my mistake and all they had to do in the first place was give me the rice and beans when i came back the second time it didn't have to be a issue if the girl on phone would have said i would have to repay for another rice and beans i would not have gone back. They were closing probly going to throw them out anyway so instead of providing good customer service and doing the right thing the girls wanted to created more drama and then poor when someone call them out on something she did wrong. its probly her familys business she got handed a job no customer service training. she didn't have to get off her ass and look for work. so she feels like she can treat her customers like nothing because the spoiled little girl got handed something. If i had the receipt i would post but as soon as it came out the the machine she tossed it in the trash next to her. I am trusting and did not think any of this should have been a big deal except she really treated me as if it was my fault they took the order wrong when its their jobs to take a food order. i have done there job and if i got things wrong i would say i was sorry and make it right its not that hard i just dont understand why the girl threated to call the cops when i got upset and called them out on their mistake. read more

I have been to this restaurant with friends and family since I was a kid and I've moved away and missed it so I went with my family and this place has really gone down hill I can't even be nice and give 1 star, oh wait I guess I can't not give any stars anyway I ordered what I always ordered a torta with al pastor which is (marinated pork) and it tasted like fish an the server who took my order with curly hair Hispanic in a scrunchy with big hoops and always looks bored, she would NOT stop staring at me and laughing to her friend and when I went up and grabbed a flan out of the drink refrigerator I asked how much it costs and she said 250 so I wet and grabbed the dollars from my purse and she kept laughing to her friend and didn't even turn to me so I dropped the dollars on the counter and grabbed the flan and it made me SICK after I ate it, I always loved this restaurant but it has really gone down hill to the very bottom, and I especially don't like feeling like I'm in elementary school again with girls talking about me in Spanish (which I understood every word) and laughing at me for no reason, Stop talking and making fun Of customers and go clean a table or change the sanitary rags all the tables are sticky Or how about working on the quality of your food and being friendlier, the young girls that work there obviously don't give a crap about their parents investment or reputation, I only wish that the workers would see this review but this isn't a perfect world. Solid good mexican place. I have been coming here since I was very little and I have rarely been disappointed. I love the way their rice taste different from all the rest. I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered a carnitas taco salad. The meat was hard to find there was so.little of it, and it was very wet and not crispy at all like a traditional carnitas would be. The beans were very liquid as well and lacked flavor like the whole meal. The guacamole on top was a wierd shade of army green, obviosly not fresh. To top it off pile of iceberg with very little meat, almost no cheese and runny beans cost me $9.18!!!! I will never go back. Years ago I used to frequent this place but something has changed for the worse. I really wanted chile rellenos but was told that they make them there, but not fresh as ordered, they make batches every couple days and basically reheat them when ordered. Apparently they have lost the passion for food. Oh and the chips are store bought round chips!!! Taco bell is better tasting and cheaper. The service was very good, but no reason to ever return. I did not ask for another meal so not sure how they would have handled my dissatisfaction. I have had better food at taco trucks & spent less money. read more

Their jukebox is set way to loud, most the time you can even have a conversation without having to raise your voice. The restaurant looks nasty. I used to go here all the time as a kid, but generally do not anymore, but the other day I found myself walking by and my cousin wanted an horota (sp. not right, the spiced rice/milk drink) So we go to get the drink and are hungry so we order some tacos. The chicken taco was gross, we didnt even eat it. the steak was edible, but slightly greasy, and nothing to rave about. i ordered my nephew a "small" burrito, (he is 7) and it was big, with the cheese not melted. Good, fresh authentic Mexican food in an authentic environment. If you didn't know better you'd think you were somewhere south of the border. In addition to the usual suspects like tacos and burritos they have a number of great dishes. For price and quality it's the best place in town, and in Ukiah there are plenty of Mexican food joints. read more
