I had my linen vest altered because it was too big through the armholes and body. The alterations were done exceptionally well. I feel confident in my new vest. When I look around at other people wearing sleeveless vests, I notice that there is often a gaping fit. However, my vest fits beautifully, as if it was tailored specifically for me. Thank you. read more

Awesome local, family owned and operated, always excellent quality. They are well knowledged in textile construction and alteration techniques, and they don't take short cuts or cheap out on craftsmanship. I always trust their work and you can tell how busy/in-demand they are with the projects they have waiting on their rack. They only take cash or debit, and worth the wait time for alterations. read more

Very prompt and took good care and attention to my wedding dress. I'm 5'1" and needed to take a lot of materials out. She never left any stitches and laces hanging. Thank you! read more

Samar & her amazing team did a fantastic job making alterations to all my cosplay needs! I usually get my cosplays commissioned online from China and have it mailed to me for an affordable price. However, you really do get what you pay for. Even when I provide my own custom size to a tailor, the product I receive in the mail doesn't fit as much as I'd like it to because I am considerably petite and in-proportionate. When I first came to Samar she was very kind & open minded with helping me with my dilemma. She takes her time to look at the work that needs to be done and is open to taking requests. As a cosplayer I have a vision in mind & Super Stitch delivers! I always go back for alterations cause I know I can count on Samar & her team! read more

What a wonderful experience at this shop. I brought in a pair of fully lined dressy pants that are part of a suit that I had "outgrown ". The embroidered tunic top is a classic so was hoping we could do something with the pants. Unbelievable job given pleats and lining to work with. They came out way beyond my expectation, the original label was even sown back in place. I saved a fortune on having to find a replacement of the same quality. Price very reasonable, friendly service and on schedule Would highly recommend visiting this business read more

I cannot believe what great work this women did for a hole on the sleeve of my suit jacket. When I went to pick it up she charged me just $25, obviously not enough as it was like invisible mending, so was happily obliged to add more for work of that quality. I was only there once before but it was excellent then also. Find out for yourself and you'll be writing a review like this also. read more

Went into to get a couple of hoodies embroidered with a date one them and they did an amazing job. The quality of the stitching and precision of everything is great. Customer service was also 10/10 and went above and beyond with this. Thank you so much! read more

They did a good job repairing one of my favourite tops. I accidentally caught my sleeve on a dresser knob and ripped the stitches. The stitches were broken all around the hem. They redid the hem completely and it looks exactly the same as the original. Good location under Superstore, lots of parking. read more

I bought a peacoat that was a bit too big on me, so I brought it in for altering. I'm not too familiar with sewing or altering so I had no idea what needed to be done. Luckily, the owner was very experienced and knowledgeable. I put on my coat and she immediately told me what needed to be altered. The owner was very friendly and her prices were very reasonable. (They accept credit cards too! which is a nice thing) When I returned to pick up my coat, I tried it on and it was perfect! The owner double checked to make sure the coat fit right and that there wasn't any problems. I also like how they are right in the Superstore area. It's very convenient as there are lots of parking and you can get your groceries at the same time. I would definitely come back here for any other alterations! read more

My partner is VERY particular on the fitting of her clothes so I did a bunch of research before choosing an alteration place for the outfit she was wearing to her sisters wedding. Luckily I came across Super Stitch Corp because they did an awesome job. This is now our go to for alterations :) read more

Samar is SUPER patient and experienced. I had some old Mexx suits I bought off the rack, and got them altered at another store before but they were still not fitting right. I gave them to Samar, and she turned them into new suits. She advised me how to alter it (rather than ask me how I want it done and just do the measurements), and told me what would look good and what wouldn't based on my body shape. THAT'S what a tailor should be like! Their prices are fair, and turnaround time is very quick. Ample parking as well, so you can even do your grocery shopping when you drop off or pick up your clothes. You don't need to look anywhere else, just come here to get your clothes properly tailored. read more

Got them to alter a few dress shirts - taper at waist and shorten sleeves. Quality appears to be good to my untrained eyes. Got them done in a timely manner. They took their time to measure me and make sure I am going to get a good fit. Also got them to narrow the leg opening on a few pairs of chinos and raw denim. They took in the denim without messing with the selvedge line. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get quality tailoring in a timely manner. read more

Brought her 8 pairs of chinos and jeans all at once to be hemmed and tapered, as I have huge thighs and pants always drape over my shoes as a result. So I asked her to taper to exactly 7.75" leg opening from the knee down. She pinned it on me to perfection then paid. Picked up after 4 days and the work was flawless! Ive had this done elsewhere but the taper always seemed strange fitting to me, however this time it was just a nice transition from a large thigh area to a nice leg opening size that didn't swallow up my shoes! I highly recommend Samar (owner) for you big-legged weightlifters out there looking to be fashionable and continue your hobby. read more

Lady was lovely. Charged less than most places but better quality work. Tapered my suit pants and got them to me before a wedding within a day. Great quality. Very friendly. Will only go here next time. read more

Samar worked on my and my maid of honour's wedding gowns (we married within weeks of each other). FAST seamstress, extremely fair prices, and IMPECCABLE work. She also transformed a badly sewn dress I had ordered from China into a gorgeously fitting wedding reception dress. My wedding gown was a mermaid lace dress with multiple layers, and my maid of honour's dress was A-line satin with intricate beading and multiple heavy layers as well. Both dresses turned out PERFECT. We both went for 2 fittings and the 3rd time was for pickup! Samar, you are the wedding dress fairy godmother! read more

Took my wedding suit, and my fiance's dress here, and they did a great job. The staff was professional, helpful, and very good at what they did. The prices were good, and the service was fast. This place was recommended to me by a colleague, and would be happily recommend them to my friends. We are happy that we went to super stitch, and will be looking good for our wedding! read more

Most of my work clothes I have tailored in Asia when I travel, but my casual clothes that I buy off the shelf never really fit me well. I was invited to a Caribbean Cruise wedding and needed to have a bunch of "off the shelf" shirts and pants altered to properly fit. I drove past several of the Yelp places listed, then decided to walk in to Super Stitch. The nice lady who runs the store was very helpful and we spent the next 45 mins getting the shirts, pants and a casual Tommy Bahama blazer measured and pinned. She explained clearly the options, possibilities, and constraints based on the existing clothes, then we agreed to proceed. Less than a week later (and a day earlier than promised) she called to say things were ready. I was thrilled with the results! Everything turned out better then I had expected and I feel very confident with the look and fit of everything. I have never had off the shelf clothing fit me so well!! I really appreciated her helpfulness, patience and skills to make things work out so well. I rarely do ratings, but this time wanted to recognize a great place to do business. I will be back and will make a point to recommend this shop to my friends who are looking for alteration or tailoring help. read more

Finding a talented and trusted tailor is important if you need any advance modification to your garments. Summer (the owner) was able to tailor my off the rack suit to fit a skinny, modern look. She was able to bring in the jacket to make it nice and tight, as well as a large modification on the pants length, taper, and butt, to give them that skinny, tailored, look. It's amazing the transformation my clothes have taken and I look forward to coming back with all of my friends! Thanks a bunch summer! read more

Samar is efficient, professional and takes away your anxiety about wedding dress alterations. After she worked her magic, my wedding gown fit me like a glove. To top it off, she was able to suggest alternative ways to perform the alterations and accompanied each suggestion with a reason why or what the end result would be. Highly recommend for alterations big or small. read more

I brought to Samar a pair of boxy dress pants, khaki jeans that was 3-4 inches too big for me (waist size), and a dress shirt that had a meager fit on me. Overall, I am extremely impressed in not only the results of her work, but as well Samar's service and wonderful attitude. Although I was vague in the specifics of my needs, she was still extremely receptive to my ideas. She was not afraid of suggesting other fits or different styles (that were a lot better than what I had planned out). Her knowledge in not only tailoring but as well current trends really helped my fashion ignorance. The dress pants I had altered was transformed from boxy to slim and stylish. The dress shirt fits my body as if it was made for it! This is one of the best alteration places in all of BC. The manager, Samar, is a well experienced person and has been sewing since she was a little girl. She knows exactly what she's doing and tells you exactly what needs to be done. Her prices are very very reasonable and she has a great service regular and rush. Unlike other alterations, she does rush work without extra cost. She is a very nice person and when you go there you feel like you talking to a family member...I have been going there for the past 10 years and I wouldn't dare to give me clothes to any other person... read more

I brought in 4 pairs of dress pants to be hemmed and tapered at the legs for a slimmer fit, and a blazer to be repaired where holes were forming. Everything went in looking like it's served it's time and was ready to be thrown out. I walked into the store at 5 pm (1 hour before closing) with little hope of bringing my work clothes back to life (and at a reasonable price). I was greeted by the store owner's son who dropped everything he was doing to measure and pin everything up right away. You could tell immediately that he knew exactly what he was doing. He set the right expectations with what can and can't be done and the price was far better than some of the other tailors I've been to. He took his time to explain the process and I was off feeling very confident about my clothes. I had a work conference in Edmonton coming up in a week and they finished it all in just 4 days! The compliments kept rolling in while I was at the conference and people kept asking where I bought my clothes. The quality of work was phenomenal with lightning fast turnaround and really fair pricing. My clothes came back pressed and looking better than it's ever been. It's not often that you come across businesses like this and when you do, you know you'll be sticking with them for a very long time. It is a family run business, mother and son. Both of them were very pleasant to work with. An excellent experience overall. Valmont read more
