I cannot believe what great work this women did for a hole on the sleeve of my suit jacket. When I went to pick it up she charged me just $25, obviously not enough as it was like invisible mending, so was happily obliged to add more for work of that quality. They did a good job repairing one of my favourite tops. I accidentally caught my sleeve on a dresser knob and ripped the stitches. The stitches were broken all around the hem. They redid the hem completely and it looks exactly the same as the original. Good location under Superstore, lots of parking. read more

Samar is SUPER patient and experienced. I had some old Mexx suits I bought off the rack, and got them altered at another store before but they were still not fitting right. I gave them to Samar, and she turned them into new suits. She advised me how to alter it (rather than ask me how I want it done and just do the measurements), and told me what would look good and what wouldn't based on my body shape. THAT'S what a tailor should be like! Their prices are fair, and turnaround time is very quick. Ample parking as well, so you can even do your grocery shopping when you drop off or pick up your clothes. Got them to alter a few dress shirts - taper at waist and shorten sleeves. Quality appears to be good to my untrained eyes. Got them done in a timely manner. They took their time to measure me and make sure I am going to get a good fit. Also got them to narrow the leg opening on a few pairs of chinos and raw denim. Brought her 8 pairs of chinos and jeans all at once to be hemmed and tapered, as I have huge thighs and pants always drape over my shoes as a result. So I asked her to taper to exactly 7.75" leg opening from the knee down. She pinned it on me to perfection then paid. Picked up after 4 days and the work was flawless! Ive had this done elsewhere but the taper always seemed strange fitting to me, however this time it was just a nice transition from a large thigh area to a nice leg opening size that didn't swallow up my shoes! I bought a peacoat that was a bit too big on me, so I brought it in for altering. I'm not too familiar with sewing or altering so I had no idea what needed to be done. Luckily, the owner was very experienced and knowledgeable. I put on my coat and she immediately told me what needed to be altered. The owner was very friendly and her prices were very reasonable. (They accept credit cards too! which is a nice thing) When I returned to pick up my coat, I tried it on and it was perfect! The owner double checked to make sure the coat fit right and that there wasn't any problems. I also like how they are right in the Superstore area. Finding a talented and trusted tailor is important if you need any advance modification to your garments. Summer (the owner) was able to tailor my off the rack suit to fit a skinny, modern look. She was able to bring in the jacket to make it nice and tight, as well as a large modification on the pants length, taper, and butt, to give them that skinny, tailored, look. Most of my work clothes I have tailored in Asia when I travel, but my casual clothes that I buy off the shelf never really fit me well. I was invited to a Caribbean Cruise wedding and needed to have a bunch of "off the shelf" shirts and pants altered to properly fit. I drove past several of the Yelp places listed, then decided to walk in to Super Stitch. The nice lady who runs the store was very helpful and we spent the next 45 mins getting the shirts, pants and a casual Tommy Bahama blazer measured and pinned. She explained clearly the options, possibilities, and constraints based on the existing clothes, then we agreed to proceed. Less than a week later (and a day earlier than promised) she called to say things were ready. I was thrilled with the results! Everything turned out better then I had expected and I feel very confident with the look and fit of everything. I have never had off the shelf clothing fit me so well!! I really appreciated her helpfulness, patience and skills to make things work out so well. I rarely do ratings, but this time wanted to recognize a great place to do business. I brought in 4 pairs of dress pants to be hemmed and tapered at the legs for a slimmer fit, and a blazer to be repaired where holes were forming. Everything went in looking like it's served it's time and was ready to be thrown out. I walked into the store at 5 pm (1 hour before closing) with little hope of bringing my work clothes back to life (and at a reasonable price). I was greeted by the store owner's son who dropped everything he was doing to measure and pin everything up right away. You could tell immediately that he knew exactly what he was doing. He set the right expectations with what can and can't be done and the price was far better than some of the other tailors I've been to. He took his time to explain the process and I was off feeling very confident about my clothes. I had a work conference in Edmonton coming up in a week and they finished it all in just 4 days! The compliments kept rolling in while I was at the conference and people kept asking where I bought my clothes. The quality of work was phenomenal with lightning fast turnaround and really fair pricing. My clothes came back pressed and looking better than it's ever been.
