I brought my expensive velvet shirt to have the bottom hemmed, and it was returned back to me with one big hole plus 2 tiny ones on it. I only noticed it when I got back home and immediately phoned them regarding the issue. The owner (short bald Chinese man) was extremely dismissive and refused to take responsibility for their mistake. I should have followed my instinct at first (and leave) when they demanded I pay full in advance and not after picking up my item. Furthermore, on the day I first went to pick up my shirt, they could not find it and was told to come back later, it just shows how irresponsible they are. They are money grabbing people with no ethics in my opinion.

I don't usually carry much cash, so now I'll have to go somewhere to get cash, then make a return trip back to the tailor to get my stuff. When I expressed my surprise at "cash only", the woman pointed to a ripped hand-scrawled sign, scotch taped to the surface of the counter, and she says "There's the sign". It's a busy world and businesses should try removing obstacles for their customers, rather than putting them up.

I took them back today because the stitching was not up to her usual par. First she denied that it was her work. When I showed her the receipt she accused me of bringing in different pants than what was on the receipt. She accused me of lying and trying to manipulate her. When I pointed out that I have been her customer for 10 years and that I had just picked the pants up a couple of weeks ago (didn't she remember?) she said again that I was lying and she knows I'm lying because it is not her work and told me she "knows people like me". She also would not give my money back. I was shocked to say the least. She was literally yelling at me. I left in tears.

I brought my wedding dress in to be cleaned back in August. I've never received a phone call about my dress and it's been 3 months. Every time I go in I am told it's not ready unless someone has called me or that they will call me in a few days which never happens. I'm starting to think they've lost my dress or ruined it and are avoiding the situation. Not sure what else to do at this point- posting this as a last resort. I just want my dress back and will not be using them for my dry cleaning again.
