Since we weren't in too much of a rush so we were okay with it being completed in 1 week. Everything fit perfectly! The ladies that work there were really nice and knowledgeable. The pricing was reasonable. P.S. they have a sign that says "Cash only" !

William and Joe are super busy because of their wonderful skills when I came. It is hard for Him to tailor my suit follow my schedule. William said he would do his best. Finally he made it happen! Anyway I was hoping that this tailor could meed my needs being in business for so long however he not only failed but failed very poorly. Mom said she doesn't have the special sewing machine for my request so I had to find a pro. So my request was to change some elastics on a pair of spandex shorts. This Tailor said he knew what to do he had the machine, nothing special. When I received my shorts again, not only did he not replace the elastics (with my own supplied), he sewed my new elastics abruptly over the old with a standard sewing machine. The stitches were crooked, started and ended in arbitrary areas. I couldn't even voice my complaint because he was either too senile or clueless. Anyway for $10 it wasn't worth my trouble to explain to a "pro". I ended up undoing what he did. I now know, overlock sewing machine is what I'm looking for. 1star for service, 5 stars for pricing, rate weighing heavy on service, total 2stars. btw your clothes will smell like mothballs when you pick them up.

When I came to pick up the dress (silky material), there were damages (nits and scrapes) all over the dress (front, back, arms, everywhere). Not only that, the alterations were so poorly executed. The arms weren't straight. They were all wonky. The seams don't line up. I honestly can't believe how horrible it is. I told her i was not happy with it and there were damages all over the dress. Her response was, "you said this was a cheap dress, so I gave you cheap discount." Firstly, I never said those words. She was making stuff up to cover up her mistakes. I told her I do not want to come in again. I want a refund for the alterations and my dress. She insisted come in on Tuesday to talk to her manager. And ignored me and went to the next customer. I don't have high hopes to be honest. I will be taking this to customer service. Overall, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY EXPENSIVE GARMENTS. The lady that helped me was not professional. She raised her voice, she was defensive, she denied the damages and was absolute ZERO help at all. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I would leave zero stars if i could.

This place has been around for a long time and the staff is good at what they do…read more They are not the cheapest but I find the rates reasonable. The service is good and my clothes are usually ready for pick up earlier than expected. They will send an email when items are ready, so do check your email, otherwise just pop by with the pick-up receipt on the date/time stated. You can also bring the altered item home to try. If it is not done right, bring it back and they will re-work it at no additional charge. That happened to my jeans which was still too long despite the hemming done. The location is also very convenient as it is right in Metrotown and nearer to the skytrain and bus loop area. Parking can be a pain as it is always crowded though.
