Just got back home after a 6-month trip abroad, and was welcomed by rats, my entire home has been run down with rat droppings and urine all over, something I wouldn't wish on anyone, I immediately reached out to many companies on Yelp, and Carlos was able to provide me a quote . He was a more pricier than other companies but since he is a one-man show, he promised to give us individual attention, I sent his quote to my brother to approve since we both inherited the home, and he just wanted to ask Carlos a couple of questions, he called and just for formality asked if they're insured and from that moment everything went downhill, they were automatically defensive and something felt off, all we wanted to know was whether he was insured because there could be potential workplace accidents with exposure to hazardous rat waste, also the laws in California require that the homeowner verify insurance & licenses with anybody completing any work in their home above $500 . He's suddenly stopped answering our calls and messages UPDATE : after Carlos reached out to me on private message and in his response to my review, I did double check to make sure that what I said was 100% accurate, I called the department of consumer affairs in California at 1-800-952-5210, they are able to verify whether any company is licensed and in good standing or not, they told me that they have no mention of your company anywhere . No license, no bond, no insurance not sure what you are talking about, I even double checked just to make sure ... I have no problem with that btw . But I don't make the rules, in California anything over $500 requires a license, and insurance just in case something does happen when you are dealing with animals and chemicals and potentially in areas where someone could get injured it is very important, while I do appreciate his inspection I don't appreciate the dishonesty read more

Carlos was AMAZING! I found him on yelp and read his description and knew he'd be great. You can tell he sincerely just wants to help. He responded very quickly and was at our house for the inspection within two days. He ended up finding 37 entry points to our house and quoted us cheaper than the other companies that we've contacted. He set up the traps and covered all of the entry points. He came by and checked traps once a week for four weeks. After that, we have a 1 year warranty in case there are any issues with the coverings and he'll come fix them for free. Here's how we know he did an amazing job. We've had mouse/rat sightings in our house throughout the past year. Same pattern every time. We'd see one, we set up some traps, catch it, then see another one a couple weeks later, etc. We realized that there had to be some way they were coming in and that we needed to call for help ASAP. One night, a few days after Carlos set up the traps and covered all of the entry ways, we saw a mouse trying to get into one of the spots that they would usually go through. It tried for a bit, then realized it couldn't get through anymore and left. That's exactly what Carlos informed us what usually happens. Once they realize they can't get in, they eventually just stop trying and move on. It's been about a month and a half since Carlos covered everything and we haven't had any signs of them since.
