Meh, I think I would call this "OK" nails instead of Super Nails. I went in for a manicure and they only have one kind that is $23. The manicure was very fast and no-frills. It lasted about 15 minutes and was very minimal. So minimal, they only used one pump of lotion for each hand. The employee was really nice and that's the only thing that really gets stars. Her outfit was filthy and looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. The store itself was a bit dirty and when I put my hands under the light I could feel crustiness on the counter. The paint job was very uneven and I probably could do better at home. Overall, I would not come back for a manicure. I would try a different place next time. read more

Super comfortable and clean. The massage feature is super relaxing. There's also always a funny movie playing so you're always entertained. My sisters love their experiences as well. I had a great experience here today! They were slammed because it's the day before Mother's Day, but they made time for me. I came in, and while there was indeed a 20-minute wait, they put me in a pedi chair and let me relax with my feet in the water and the massage chair on for a while as I waited. First time ever getting a pedicure. This place is pretty nice inside. People there are very welcoming and they all just seemed really happy. I've taken my girlfriend to a couple salons and usually they would just mumble in their language and laugh making you seem like they are talking about you behind your back, which this was not the case. The pedicure was set at a great price and the tech did a very well job making sure I was comfortable. If something tickled too much she should automatically know and take it easier which was very comforting. Overall, the place is very clean, comfortable chairs, happy employees and a very great price. I have been getting my nails done for many years. I went to Super Nails because they have done a good job. However today I was extremely unhappy with the service. I had my nails done and afterwards she said "do you use a card?" And when I said yes she told me that her card reader was down as was her ATM machine. I had to scramble 10 minutes before the bank closed to get the cash to pay her. I cannot believe she did not tell me before she started my service that her machine was down. I would've been better able to adapt. She also had a rather snarky and rude tone. It's a shame because the other nail artist was pleasant and kind. In the future it would be better to warn people before they come in but it's cash only. So the bottom line is to be aware that their machine might be broken and that the staff has a bad attitude. read more

I had called to make an appointment for pedicure at 3 pm. When I arrived, I was greeted by a teen girl and I told her I wanted a French pedicure. She replied it would cost $35. I told her I was willing to pay for what I wanted. She then instructed me to sit in a chair. Then, the only nail tech that was there, she had a scroll tattoo on her right forearm, came over and started to work on me. Both of these people were not exactly 'friendly'. I got an attitude from the teen and the tech seemed 'angry' even though there was me and one other woman getting services at that time. At one point, a Asian woman, pregnant, came in with her Black friend/boyfriend/husband? Don't know, but the tech's demeanor changed to uber friendly and accommodating. The tech excused herself to work on this woman and her male companion. The tech came back, finished my pedicure and put me under the lamp while she visited and worked on this couple. Fast forward a week, my pedicure has almost completely chipped off my left toes and my right toes only two. The polish looked to be only one coat and that was it. I called the salon and was greeted with "How can I help you?" in a deadpan tone. I informed the person who answered the phone that I had come in a week before for a French pedicure and that it was chipping off. She said she would take care of it when I came in. I let her know I was traveling and would be in the next day. I came in, let the tech know who I was and she hastily said "Ya, I talked to you. Have a seat and I'll take care of you." This was the same tech who did the pedicure on the previous Sunday. She was already working on another client but didn't need to be so rude or dismissive. There was another tech there, a bit older, who ended up sanding off the thin layers of polish and actually doing the pedicure as it should have been done; in layers with a curing lamp. I'm not one to go arbitrarily giving out bad reviews, but this tech could use some constructive criticism like answer your phone in a professional manner, respect your clients no matter what race you think they are (I'm Mexican by the way, light skinned) or whether or not you know them personally ( this was my first time in this salon). When you make a mistake, like you did, don't make a client feel worse by not acknowledging them when they say 'Thank you'. I did when I left and heard nothing from either you or the tech that fixed your mistake. Another '411' for you, this is a semi-small town and people know each other and they trust one another when it comes to doing business with places here. Check yourself, do better. read more

I'm really surprised by the low reviews! Before I found super nails I thought getting tips and fills were painful and every time the nail tech would make me bleed! I'd ask for stars and the nail tech would give me flowers, it became a joke to my friends. Then someone suggested super nails! I'm a full time caregiver, my client and I always go to super nails! They are kind, patient, and respectful. Each month we look through images online and find a few designs we like then we take them to the girls down at super nails. Sometimes the things we choose are pretty complicated, I greatly respect the woman for telling me when they don't have confidence in a design I like. Rarely does that happen! Nina usually does our designs and they always turn out fantastic! I have had fills and full sets done by everyone with out feeling any pain a single time! I've taken my clients and all my friends who have become lifetime customers! I've had sets, fills, and a pedicure, all were fantastic! I love showing off my new designs and get compliments daily! I've only ever had one nail break on me and that was 4 months old and broke because of my own mishandling. There was also one time I decided I didn't care for a design I chose, I went in and they changed it for free! Nina did the cutest little snowman, not even Google images had anything quite so adorable! Please don't take a few peoples negativity as fact, try then for yourselves you'll be glad you did! Fyi I find they get impossibly busy after 5pm so be sure to schedule an appointment! I don't get my nails done very often, so I don't think I'm too picky when it comes to how well they are done. But this was definitely one of my worst experiences. My mom and I decided to come here because we didn't feel like driving out to Silverdale to go to Apollo. When we first walked in I immediately got a headache from the extremely potent smell of shellac. It was like there was no ventilation at all. Then we waited half an hour because there were only two technicians and they were both with customers. Once I finally sat down to get a manicure the technician seemed super rushed, even though there was no one else waiting, and didn't even cut my nails or put on a bottom coat before applying the polish. I guess I should have said something, but I didn't want to be there any more than the technician wanted to. The tools also seemed dirty, which creeped me out. I had my old shellac removed and refreshed here yesterday. I'm pretty sure it was the owner who serviced my nails. She used dull nippers and previously used nail files gross! With the nippers, she pinched and yanked off my cuticles. It is 2pm next day and they still hurt! I hope I don't get an infection from her using unsanitary tools. There are bumps all over my finished nails: nail debris, bubbles, and just plain sloppy work! She didn't completely cover my nails with the top coat, so the edges are bumpy and dull. I've never had a technician file my nails AFTER the shellac was said and done. Also, my nail shape is not uniform. They're either square or rounded. How does one job get so botched?? Typical Asian nail salon. Depending on who you get you either have a completely silent nail tech (which I like because I love to read all the gossip magazines they have) or a pretty chatty gal. They do shellac here but I haven't had it done so I can not attest to how well they do it. The pedicure seats are OK- which the built in massager one comes to expect with small nail salons. They have a great flat screen TV that they usually have playing new movie releases. Their $20 pedicure does the job and I'm happy with the service. I was hesitant to go to this place with all the reviews but I decided to give it a try, since I am at Fred Meyer already might as well hit two birds with one stone. The price is reasonable $25 for pedicure and $15 for manicure ( regular nail polish). I won't come back because the lady who did my nails was not friendly and no customer service and most of all sloppy job on my nails. I even asked her to clean the sides a little bit but just used her nail to clean one side of my one finger and that's it. At least make the result nice looking and not just to finish the job and that's it! Most of all, they don't clean/sanitize. After using the nail cutter and pusher on my toes, she just put it back in the drawer. After she did my nails another customer came in and she start to do hers. Honestly, I feel like the bad reviews that people put on here are the type of people who would only review for bad experiences. It's unfortunate that people ended up going into the business on a rare, bad day, but my experiences here have been nothing but amazing. When I come in, I feel so comfortable and pampered. My usual mani-pedi routine and services are always on point. This place has been in business for 10+ years and have always done a fantastic job every visit with my family, close friends, and I. Also, to the comment where they "conveniently" have you pay before painting and finishing your nails, it's most definitely convenient in terms of having it easier for US to not mess the paint job up afterwards, which I truly appreciate. I wish people would have an open mind and open heart to this small, local family business. Please give them a chance and you won't regret it! read more

Just terrible. I stopped in at this salon because it was open on Sunday and my usual salon is not. Big mistake! There were two ladies working (one younger who was actually very nice and an older lady.) I, of course, got the very unfriendly older woman. She was extremely rough with my cuticle care probably because I interrupted their lunch. She asked a few questions just to fill the silence as I was the only customer in the salon and continued speaking to her fellow nail tech. This didn't really bother me but the service she provided certainly did. I asked for a manicure. My polish is uneven, with air bubbles and so thin I swear I can see my actual nail in the right lighting. It was as if doing her job was the biggest inconvenience of the century. The hand massage was basically her putting lotion on my hands, that's it. She sloppily painted my nails. Put the top coat on maybe half of the nail on all of my nails and shuffled me off to the dryer. I probably spent more time at the dryer than the actual manicure. It was not as if they were busy- actually far from it since I was the only customer from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Oh, and how convenient for her that I payed and tipped before she painted my nails. All in all, I'm happy that I'm only out $17 and I'll be going to my usual salon from now on. read more

Do not go here!! My daughter got acrylics put on a little bit ago and the girl who did them did a decent job. We went in today because several broke in half and one was actually pulling her real nail. They tried to convince us it just needed a fill but we said no, they need to come off so her nail doesn't rip. The lady got in a huff and took them off quickly, not having them soak or anything. The polish wasn't removed properly from her actual nails and in fact cut some at all scraggly. Then charged us $10 for it and took less than 5 minutes. The worst experience I have ever had going to a nail salon. My grandma, daughter and I went here the other day and they were incredibly rude. I asked for a pedicure, my grandma a manicure and my daughters nails to be painted. The two girls working were both with customers. They never told us how long just to have a seat. They then turned on water for my pedicure and told me I could come out my feet in. The water was ice cold I immediately removed my feet and told them and got no response just a blank stare. We waited 30 minutes finally one girl finished and painted my daughters nails then began my pedicure. My pedicure was all of 5 minutes! She scrubbed my feet then painted my nails..... That's it!
