I followed Krista from her last location...I think I would die if she ever leaves Kitsap. Prior to Krista the only person who handled my hair for 6 consecutive years was my dads gf. I had no reason to doubt Krista the minute she refused to cut too much length off of my hair. I mean this humbly when I say that I am very blessed with my hair so I am very paranoid when it comes to finding someone to work on it. Krista has done everything right since the first time that I've worked with her from her professionalism, to the personal connection she's built with my and my fiance and her work! She's advised me on changing out my products and has always understood the cut/look that I'm going for. I've never left her chair feeling disappointed. I am very happy to see that she is loving this company! Despite not having their own private parking lot I've never had any issues finding street parking for my appointments. I've been to Isella for hair services from Lizzie for myself and my daughter and quite honestly am done shopping around. Lizzie is helpful and friendly, and also very straightforward about what will and won't work so that we are all on the same page. She did Balayage on my hair as well as a great cut, both of which have been very easy on the maintenance side. My daughter just received the most adorable pixie cut that shows off Lizzie's artistry and skill. it is great to be able to trust your stylist to give you a cut that fits your wishes as well as your actual hair. I have also been here for one massage, the Stressfix. It was great! I did, however, have a terrible allergic reaction to the oil that was used. The salon staff was very helpful in providing the ingredient list as well as samples of the products that were used, and I even received a call from the owner to ensure I'd received all the help I needed. read more

It took me to a different page, I couldn't get anywhere on that page until I entered my credit card information. I shouldn't have to provide my credit card information to book an appointment. You shouldn't have to provide credit card information when booking an appointment online. If, I call will they ask for it? I needed a quick eye brow wax and since I'd seen signage for this day spa (I work right around the corner) I decided to check it out. I dropped in without an appointment about 10 minutes to close on a Friday afternoon. They are located upstairs on the mezzanine level of the building. After climbing the stairs (with my 3 year old daughter in tow) I was disappointed to see they were closing up for the day and had already flipped their sign to "closed". I turned to start my climb down and a girl called after me. Told her I was hoping I could get my eyebrows done, but didn't want to trouble them since they were closing up. She assured me it was no problem at all and that she had a few minutes to spare. Score! As it turned out the girl happened to be the owner, Christina. She is also the esthetician. She was friendly and really didn't mind squeezing me in. And even if she did mind, she didn't act it. I mean I know how I am on Friday's when it's time to go home, so I was very pleasantly surprised. Also she didn't rush. I really felt like I received the same treatment as a first appointment of the day. I didn't get a through look around (since they were in the process of closing), but the space seemed clean and cozy. For the time spent, quality of service, customer service and atmosphere I definitely felt $15 was a fair price to pay. I'll definitely go back! And next time I think I'd like to schedule an appointment and treat myself to something else on their menu of services. read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I have been coming to Isella for the last year and a half that I've been stationed here with my husband (Navy). I still go to Isella even though I've moved from Bremerton to Silverdale. That's how great this place is. I come here mostly for facials and waxes. Every appointment is special and I am treated as such. Lately, I have been seeing Sarah and I've grown to love her! She has this special touch, and she's very knowledgeable in the art of skincare. That's probably why she's currently my fave esthetician. Overall though, every esthetician I've seen here, including the owner (Christina I believe?) is very attentive and truly make it their goal to have you leave rested and satisfied. Next, I plan on trying out their massages. I've heard they are very good and I cannot wait to give birth so I can try them! I followed my hair dresser, Sarah, to this salon and I was not disappointed! Sarah always does a spectacular job, hence staying with her instead of going to someone else. She listens to her clients and makes recommendations based on their hair before beginning. She always makes sure she has a clear understanding of what you want before she begins. On top of my usual wonderful experience with Sarah, it was a pleasant surprise that the products used at Isella are 99% natural so they are less damaging to the hair than other products. The spa is situated in a small town and you would have to take the ferry from Seattle to get there. It was in the downtown area and the spa was nice and comforting. I had an appointment today with Sarah for a brazilian and also asked if she could squeeze in an eyebrow wax, which she gladly did. Now let me preface this by saying brazilians in general are not pleasant and I am currently pregnant(where everything is more sensitive) but this was by far one of the least painful ones I have ever gotten. My eyebrows had no shape to them so I needed someone who knew what they were doing to help me out. I was able to book online and get an appointment for the next morning. I had my hair done today by Chera and it was hands-down the BEST hair experience I have ever had. I have been trying to grow out a previous hair cut that was awful and my color needed some help too, and let me tell you...this lady works magic! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone and will absolutely be returning! Chera really took her time with the consultation which made me feel like we were on the same page before she did anything to my hair. She explained what she thought would be most flattering for me and welcomed any questions I had. The color is AMAZING! So rich and beautiful. She really explained each step as she went and kept me in the loop the entire time as to what was going on and what she was thinking. After the color came the cut and it's transformational what she was able to do with her talent and a pair of scissors. It was exactly what I wanted and exactly what we had discussed. The styling experience was so helpful as she talked me through what she was doing so that I could recreate it at home, which I know I will appreciate so much as I do it on my own. Had a lovely and comprehensive facial here last weekend. My sister, Mom and I all went together and took our turns with Christina. We loved that Christina individualized our treatments to service our individual needs. She made changes to the original plan once we laid down and got a close look at our skin, and for that we were grateful. This morning my skin feels soft and fresh and healthy. While my mom and sister were in the treatment room, I enjoyed the relaxation room with the endless supply of magazines and snacks. She also offered wine, tea and coffee. For starters, thank God for Jessica! I moved from out of state and finding a new hair stylist is like finding a new doctor. Due to a few terrible experiences prior to finding my last stylist, I have become very picky with who does my hair. I'm type A. So, I research everything. Anywho, I just needed a re-layer and used Yelp to help find somewhere to go. I initially went to a different salon that had good reviews but my layer turned out horrible! I could see the layers and it looked choppy! A co-worker of mine ended up recommending Jessica to help fix it. So, I called the salon this morning and just so happen she had an opening for later today! The staff was very friendly and Jessica was great! She was easy to talk to and listened to my concern, even confirmed I wasn't crazy and that my layers did look kinda off due to how the other person cut it, making it unblended. She explained what she was going to do and did a great job! It was also nice to hear she recently moved too so she understood how scary it is to find someone new. Emily and Anna are great and whole place is wonderful. I just moved three days ago from Los Angeles Ca, and I really needed to decompress, so I looked at reviews and saw that Isella had good reviews and I would try then out. First off, I booked it by calling and they we're so nice and easy to make my appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted so kindly. I had the Bliss package which was so amazing. The ambience was perfect, noise level was perfect, except for the festival happening outside, but that wasn't there fault and they kept apologizing for that, but you can't control outside elements. My facial was done by Emily. My skin had been so dry and she cleaned and made it soft again. She was gently, kind and walked me through what she was doing. My massage was done by Anna who had the best ever pressure point. She asked me what's been bothering me and I told her my sciatica was flaring up. She worked that out enough that the pain is down to a 2, she also gave me advice on how to work that out. My overall experience here was fantastic and I will definitely will be coming back again. read more

I decided to try another service from Isella's comprehensive list and go for a hair cut today. Once again, very impressed with the service that I received. Chera was my stylist. Before she even thought about reaching for her scissors, she made sure that she and I were on the same page for my cut, and what I wanted it to look like when I walked out the door. Shortly after that, she proceeded to give me a head and shoulder massage which nearly had me melting into the chair, and I could feel some stress immediately relieved from my neck. During the cut, Chera checked-in to explain how she was doing some of the styling, and how she would add the finishing touches. The end product was exactly what we had discussed, and looks great! I have only been to this salon for Brazilian waxes, so I am not a great judge of the place as a whole, but I have always had a pleasant experience. Waxes are not generally comfortable, but they do a great job. The two different ladies I've had always chat and distract me, and use a technique that is probably as painless as it gets. I also wasn't sure the waxer was the best fit for me, personality-wise, but was really pushed to schedule a maintenance appointment with her. The general pushiness has me hesitating to return, though the actual service I received was wonderful. From the interactions I had, I got the impression that the salon requires everyone to try to upsell, so I think the management is more to blame than anyone I actually interacted with. read more

From walking in to leaving the experience was great. I was able to get an appointment the same day which was pretty awesome. The receptionist was really friendly and hooked me up with Jess and Emily. I have had many massages in the past by other places and this one was the most relaxing massage i have had. I fell asleep within the first 15 minutes and only woke up to turn around and fall back asleep. My whole body was stressed and Jess managed to take my kinks out with no pain or elbows to the back. After my massage i saw Emily, and she was great too. The work she did on my face was noticeable the moment i walked out.
