Time of incident. Sat, 1230pm Service was paid for upon arrival ($80) Service requested: 80$ advertised approx time 1.5 hrs. Service received: approximately 45 min. Quality: who cares when the technician stops in the middle of the appointment and discontinues service until you pay for a $10 drink. How petty can you be? This isn't a 5 star establishment if they nickle and dime you in the middle of the appointment. Then complete your appointment 45min early! Now you made the client feel like a burden and rushed. And the client still tipped $5! What piss poor service! That appointment cost my kids $80 out of their own money! The average working adult makes $20 an hour approx. ( Not arguing semantics) So 4 hours of work to make $80. I value my time cause I work hard for my money. My kids took it upon themselves to book and pay for this appointment/gift for their mom And in return their mother experienced poor service. Poor attitudes. And an experience that no human should go through. They were rude! The owners are responsible for their employees behavior towards the customer. This isn't the only time a customer at this same establishment has experienced the same treatment! This shows that the pattern of disrespect and poor customer service is allowed to continue without consequence. And no steps were taken to ensure it never happened again. If there had been any this wouldn't have happened again. I really enjoy hearing how much people appreciate when nail and spa techs talk in a different language to each other right in front their face! I personally love how establishments permit this unprofessional behavior. They can't say the don't allow it, because it happens all the time!! If I am wrong prove it! I went for a pedicure and was happy that I could make an appointment for myself and my mom just two days in advance. I believe they do walk-ins on available basis. Very spacious and lots of pedicure chairs. Good selection of services and decent prices but I thought it was a little much to charge an extra $8 to do French tips. Yesterday I had the worst Mani Pedi at Apollo Nail and Spa. I had trouble sleeping last night due to pain caused by the mani, so I am leaving this review as a warning. I believe the manicurist's name was Gina, as that was on the receipt. I have had wonderful Mani Pedis here before, my last one about eight weeks ago. I am not sure I ever want to go back, but it is one of my husbands and my favorite things to do together. She cut my finger nails short without asking. She used toenail clippers! My nails have never been this short my entire adult life! She cut them so unevenly and unsightly that I had to file them when I got home. So ugly. She damaged the cuticles, which are still very sore. Most of the time, she was looking around the shop, and not at my hands. I asked for clear on my fingernails. She sloppily buffed them and applied the clear coat without wiping, so the clear dried rough and uneven. I removed it when I got home. The paint on my toes is streaky and uneven. She was in too much hurry, I think. Perhaps Gina needs more training. I wish I had time today to go in and complain. read more

So, I was trying to find a local spa that would do eyelash extensions for a photo shoot I was doing. All impressions were positive once I made the appointment and arrived. The place is nice and clean, and you are welcomed immediately and then you wait outside until your technician is ready (COVID). First of all my technician was very nice, BUT, I don't think she understood my English very well. She immediately tried to upsell me to volume lashes (at 2.5X) the cost of regular lashes, and when I tried to tell her I didn't want them overly long or VERY full, she kept telling me she'd take care of me. During the appointment, I kept emphasizing that I wanted a fairly natural look, but BOY, was I surprised when I saw that my lashes were overly full and MUCH longer than I was used to. I showed her before she started what size (length) lashes my previous gal used, but she said she didn't understand. I didn't have a choice to correct it then, but the worst part was that on ONE eye, 1/2 the lashes fell out in less than a week. And, it's not because I don't know how to care for them...it's not my first set. When I got back from my shoot I called and spoke with the manager who agreed to look at them and fix. She did replace the lashes, but she also told me that the reason they didn't stay on was because the lashes that were applied were TOO LONG for my natural lashes! Uh, DUH! Sadly, I wasn't really much happier with the "fixed" lashes because one eye was longer than the other. The manager said the next time I come in for a fill, be sure to tell the technician "no longer than 12s" which is what I did the last time. I had the worst pedicure of my life here yesterday. My sister and I came in for pedicures and the woman I had was gouging at my cuticles, and really hurt my big toe. And now I thought it's starting to get infected! AND they trimmed a couple of nails to the quick, so they're tender. I chose the mani/pedi and was thoroughly delighted with the whole package: the salon was clean and sterile but wonderfully decorated, the location is easy to get to with plenty of parking, the staff are fabulous (especially Sue!), the massage chairs are newer and a real treat, both the pedicure and manicure were a total spa treatment (didn't expect that!), and the price? Honestly, this is the nicest nail salon in Kitsap. I've been happy with all of my services and this is over the course of a few years. I like that everything you need to know is on their website: services offered, prices and you can even book online. My only issue with the book online option is they only list a fraction of their staff on the site. Why? I don't know. I think my most favorite thing is that they're by appt only. Meaning when you schedule a 4:00 appt your service begins at 4:00. And even though they're by appt only I've never had an issue getting a next day appt and many time have scored same day appts. The real 5 star earner of this review is my nail tech, Ann. She is nothing short of phenomenal. And I'm having a selfish moment right now wondering if I should even go into detail because I don't want to share her. Ha! She isn't one of the select few technicians listed on the website for booking so you'll need to call to make an appt with her. Basically, Ann is the perfectionist I've always dreamed of. She is so very gentle and takes her time. My shellac mani, pedi with removal takes on average 2hrs and I leave with perfect nails. It's really nice because I can sit and close my eyes and relax knowing that Ann is taking care of me. Anywhere else I would be looking for lint or air bubbles in my polish. I just love her. I made a 12pm appointment for a regular pedicure and regular manicure with gel. I arrived a few minutes early and was told to sit and wait outside. 20 minutes later, they come get me. They have so many sneeze guards in place that the already small room feels VERY claustrophobic. I get trying to be COVID-safe and I appreciate their efforts but it was just a lot... especially for how many people were in the building at one time. Pedicure was nothing to write home about. Then we move over to a table for my manicure and she broke/ripped multiple nails and left them in a pretty haggard state. I noticed the little basket she kept the tools in had probably never been washed and there were nail clippings and cuticle scraps floating around in the bottom... definitely not mine. *barf* Also never saw anything come out of a sterile bag. *double barf* At this point we were already over my quoted completion time (I had another appointment across town at 2 but was told we would "for sure" be done by 1:30) and we weren't anywhere close to being done unless I wanted a rush job, so I stopped her before she could polish, thinking I'd save myself at least SOME money. But nope. $65 for a basic pedicure with regular polish and a basic manicure with shellac removal. It's my own fault for not listening to my co-worker/checking the website for prices before making an appointment... but HOLY CRAP these guys are expensive. Never again. read more

I came in on a busy Saturday without an appointment and they were able to squeeze my group of 3 in an hour later. I love that they have so many pedicure chairs available and that the place really has an upscale feel to it. Of course this comes with a higher price, but I felt like I got a really great pedicure. I had no idea this place excited and had locations on the other side of the water as well. It's also really nice to not be rushed out of the chair when you are finished or have your technician loudly chatting to her coworker's the whole time. I really liked the massage chair as well, it seemed to have a higher speed setting than most other ones which I enjoyed. I had previously broken my toe nail in half and my friend was healing from a broken toe but both were treated with care and came out looking fabulously. I may try one of the refreshment options on my next visit and will check out the brow waxing as well. read more

I've gotten my lashed done here a handful of times and loved how they looked. The last time I got my lashes done, here will be the last time I step foot in this building. I walked in to check and was referred to the iPad. I overheard a women complaining about having no appointment and not wanting to come back. I see my lash tech (I've gone to her before) walk out from the back and the front desk instructed her to take the women without an appointment for a pedicure. I said nothing and waited patiently, thinking I might be getting the other lash tech. After 15 minutes of sitting I went to the front desk and they informed me my appointment was erased. They had the lash tech stop the pedicure and setup for my lashes. Just what I wanted her hands on my face after being on some Crusty women's feet. The lash tech was rude to me, barely spoke and argued over the type of lashes I wanted. They tried to overcharge me. My lashes had so much glue they hurt and came off clumps with real lashes at a time leaving me with bald spots. I will never go to or recommend Apollo again. read more

Honestly this place is way to over priced. I have never paid anything more than 40$ without a tip for a spa pedicure. First off if you into the quality of gel then you usually pay about 10-15 extra just to be able to get the gel. Well they charge 15 for the actual gel and then 15 more to take it off. I've never been charged to take it off. My seat wasn't working and I had to tell them several times. The goal somehow came out to 60 without tip and let's just say if I'm paying over 50$ for a pedicure I should get a lot more than what I paid for. Over priced is an understatement. If possible, I'd give them 0 stars. I came to Apollo to do a fill on my eyelash extensions since my usual girl in Sequim was overbooked, WORST experience ever!! She glued eyelash glue (which my regular girl said looked like Gorilla glue) in clumps that attached to chunks of my natural lashes which hurt. Instead of using actual volume lashes, she glued several fake lashes to one of my real lashes. They looked good for one day, then they were tacky, clumpy, tangled, and painful. It has taken 6+ weeks and hundreds of dollars spent on real SPA trained technicians to fix the mess she made in 40 minutes. I do not believe they have any real training in this art. I will never go here again, I would suggest you don't. Don't do lashes here! read more

What I really like is the fact when I make an appointment and show up on time for my appointment I am seen at my appointment time.
