I am pretty laid back about stuff even if I dont like so me writing this is major. I asked for a manicure/pedicure with full set acrylics on fingers and a gel on both. They came out lumpy, uneven, and there was no cuticle cutting, just a awfully expensive mess. I had to come back the next day to have them 'fixed' and they charged me again. Avoid at all costs! These dip nails were unfortunately not acceptable. The drill was taking out chunks when the worker was trying to shape the nail so she re-dipped all of them and then did not shape them again resulting in thick and uneven nails. The drill cut me in two places. The dip was dried all over my cuticles and fingers when I left. Not sure how they were okay letting a client leave like this. I had to re-shape every nail with a nail file immediately in my car. Due to the salon closing I did not ask them to fix my nails. :( Additionally, my 6 year old daughter's gel mani pedi was "discounted" at $50, but they did not paint her toe nails completely... :( read more

I've been here twice, the first time my nails were all uneven and the shellack polish peeled off after just a week. I'm not tough if my nails, it was just low quality. The second time, I had an appointment and the nail tech stopped doing my nails mid-manicure, moved me and gave someone else my seat. They said she had an appointment, I told the nail tech that I also had an appointment but that didn't seem to matter. When we finally started my nails again the nail tech fought me hard on the color I wanted. I said I was sure that'd what I wanted and that this is my normal color and they tried even still to put another color on. I had to ask the nail tech to remove it and use the color I asked for. I won't be coming back. I've never had something like that happen anywhere else, it's bad customer service. read more

Katie is my new fab nail guru! She's sweet, fast, listens to how you want nails done and remembers when you return. She's super quick, really talented creating designs and haven't had one that she couldn't manipulate. She doesn't do the "what the Fo" up charges that you seem to always get at other salons! She's honest, somehow remembers everyone's name and wants you to be happy about how your nails look. They have a punch card reward and not the tablet sign in that somehow skimps you on your points. They're closed on Tuesdays, so check them out on another day! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I was really disappointed with my service. Went to Sassy Nails for the first time today for a gel pedicure. My first concern was the nail tech did not remove all the gel polish off my toenails. She then used the cuticle trimmer to cut my nails so they were all jagged and uneven. The gel polish was very uneven on my nails, too thick in some places and on my skin. Also when the tech rolled my leggings down there was still lotion and paraffin wax on her gloves and got it all over me. When I went to the car I tried to get some of the polish off my skin and it peeled right off my nail too. I had to go somewhere closer to home and waste more money to have the gel taken off. I'd appreciate a refund if possible. The tip can stay with the tech. read more

I tried this nail salon today on a whim because I had received two very bad manicures from another salon in town and my original salon was closed (it's Sunday). One of my complaints regarding the last place I tried was that they didn't do much in the way of a hand massage, which is my favorite part. I actually got two today and though that's probably not usual and I don't expect it every time, it was amazing. I was asked if I wanted gel and when I said I wanted regular polish, she didn't pressure me for something else and brought the color swatches to me. They did a thorough job cleaning up my cuticles, which were a mess from the last place I went. The owner, Katy, applied my polish and actually asked my name and introduced herself me. She asked me about my weekend plans, friendly without prying. I would have given them 5 stars except that the other nail tech was a bit rough with the cuticle scissors in a couple of spots, but she certainly didn't make me bleed and I'm not sore. Me and my sister went twice I've never written a bad review for any place but they charge insane amounts for the worst acrylics I've ever gotten(2 times ). It takes at least 3 hours to get our nails done both times. They're so rough, kept breaking my skin with the buffer and making me bleed. I gave inspiration photos for both my sister and I and they literally did their own thing ignoring, the shape, color , and design we wanted, both times! My nails were all lumpy and had little hairs stuck in them both times I left. I will pay a lot to get nice nails because it's very rare I have time but $160 before tip is absolutely insane especially when they knew they messed up and just didn't care, again, BOTH TIMES for me AND my sister. "TY Nails" is amazing that's where I would go. Don't even waist your time here, I should have taken pictures but I went home and painted them a solid color because it looked like a toddler painted them. read more

Ugh you guys I tried to like this place. I've had an eyebrow wax atleast 5 times and only 1 or 2 times was good. Lady didn't even tweeze me and I sat for like 3 min total. Just moving too fast and didn't care to make it look good. Had a gel mani and it peeled off the next day after I paid $60. I gave it one more shot and had a gel pedi (looks great) but my dip mani was so awful. I got gouged so bad by the cuticle scissors and bled (it's ok accidents happen) but the gel was lumpy and had to file every nail when I got home. It was pooped badly around my cuticles and she didn't care to shape my nails much. Again she was working too fast and didn't care to make them look good. I paid $94 that day, and felt I should have been offered a discount since I was cut so bad and bled. I didn't ask for one nor will I be retuning. Bummer because the ladies are so nice in there. I love this nail salon. It's close to my house so it's convenient. And it's the only salon close to me that welcomes walk ins. Which is the main reason I love it. My schedule is always changing and busy so I love that I can just pop in when the time is right for me without worrying about scheduling in advance. In my never ending quest to find the perfect pedicure place, I stopped by here. I had a bit of a wait to get in, but I feel that comes with the territory of never making an appointment. The chairs were comfortable and had good massage settings. Something I'm realizing is more and more important in the pedicure world. The color selection was wide and they had various brands to choose from. The staff was friendly and professional. The equipment all looked to be kept very clean and well maintained. I love this nail place! Although I am happy that I move out of the freezing cold weather to Sab Diego.. I wish I could move Tracy and her shop to San Diego with me! Tracy and her employees are always so pleasant and they are very professional..unlike all other shops. Tracy and her employees are very kind and when they are working on your nails they focus on you and ask about your life and truly try to get to know you vs. the other shops where they talk to each other and laugh in their language where it makes you feel very uncomfortable! I always get right in, and my acrylic nails look beautiful. Not to long and not too wide. Tracy always asks if I'm happy with them. I like Tracy always has her nails done too and i can see how the color looks on. She gives me the option to get gel polish or regular, she asks if i want a design and when I decline she doesn't ask again. I'm very picky about my nails, so liking a new salon after going to another for years is important to me. I don't mind that she speaks her language because i would do the same; she even helps customers to understand other employees that are not as fluent in English. I don't think she's talking about me because I'm not doing or saying anything to cause her to want to talk about me. I also like that she's next to a barber so my hubby can go get his hair cut while i get my nails done. Her prices are comparable to salons near her so i don't feel ripped off. I just had the worst experience ever at SASSY NAILS in Port Orchard ! A mani should never be done at the same time as a pedi- I sat turned awkwardly to one side- very uncomfortable :( The lady who did my fingernails was rough and my cuticles were red and swollen for a few days. The pedi was decent but I've had better. For the amount of money I spent I wasn't expecting to be out of there in 30 mins! If they want to improve the experience they need to slow down- do one service at a time- and maybe a little more conversation with their customers and less chatting with their coworkers! read more

I went here to get a shellac manicure because the place I normally go was closed. The paint job was uneven and messy, and I had a lot of portions on my nails that were unpainted. To remove my previous shellac, my fingers were wrapped with acetone covered cotton balls. This is expected as it's the only way to remove it, however they didn't put lotion on my hands or anything. Of course I washed my hands but they were super dry and gross looking when I was finished. Any nail place I'd describe my hands as "gross and dry looking" isn't going to work for me. There was also little bits of cotton stuck to the nail polish. I told them I didn't want any sparkles in the color because I was starting a new professional job. Once I got out in the sun, I realized they were sparkly. They closed at 7pm, and I went in a little before 6. I think they may have done a poor job because they were closing down everything, but then why not just close at 6? I gave them two stars because I didn't say anything or give them a chance to fix it, but mainly because they were practically pushing me out the door. And to add to a previous review that said they don't speak in Vietnamese to each other wasn't the case at all. The entire time I was there they were talking to each other in Vietnamese. This isn't an issue for me because things like that don't bother me, but I know some people are really touchy about it. read more

Today was unpleasant. I felt uncomfortable not complying with Tracy's "up-selling" And decided that what she was charging for a simple 4th of July deign wasn't for me. The reason for that being, I like clean nails, French tips, just because I'll end up going back in a week and wanting to change it before they need to be changed. Instantly she spoke to her other workers in a different language, and I could pick out words like "design" She was working on other clients while working with me. I did not leave a tip because she was very rude and harsh with me. My nails literally hurt with how hard she was buffing them. And I personally don't let nail techs try to such me dry by over charging and battling me on what I want. If I don't want gel top coat I don't want it. If I don't want a design that's going to add an extra 20 to my bill then I don't want it. She didn't say goodbye even after I wished her a good day. I say go here if you're one to get suckered for up-selling but if you like what you like and you don't wanna battle the nail tech because they wanna suck you dry and over charge you, go somewhere else. read more

My friend and I got pedicures and full sets of acrylic nails at Sassy Nails today. My pedicure was wonderful, but my friend's wasn't as good. Two of her nails were not painted on the corners. The polish on my acrylics is fantastic, but most of the nails themselves are crooked and uneven. My friend's acrylics are the same way. She also asked for light pink crystals on her nails but got bright pink. I won't be going back here for acrylics, and I probably won't go back for a pedicure either. There are far better places around. I don't recommend going here for anything other than an eyebrow wax (I got one, and that was actually great). read more

This place is probably one of the better places in Port Orchard. Make an appointment though, if you walk in they will make you wait forever if there is a line. I went to sassys nails 4 times total and the first time i paid for a full set 60$ with tip (thats fine) but i went back twice (45 min drive) have them finish what was suppose to be done with a full set...it was still not done right so i wait go back for a fill to see if that would solve it...it was 50$ yet i got a fill but had to glue a nail on that vroke where they drilled was paper thin and where they did the normal fill it was very thick...i did find a salon that fixed it for half the price and did a fill (sad face) i really like the people there!! read more
