I will give a 5 plus for my pedicure. I had a gentleman do the pedicure. He did a great job and one of the best foot/ leg massages ever. My non gel polish is still on and looking good after 2.5 weeks. Definitely would recommend a pedicure from the man! Wish I had asked for his name. Now for the manicure. I give this a minus one. The lady used a dermal on my cuticles, this not only caused severe hang nails, it also cut a ridge into all my nails that will take months to grow out. I never use gel polish so I do not understand why she also used the dermal on my nails. They are now so thin and brittle that I had to cut them all off. My polish looked horrible by the next day. If you get a manicure here, be very careful of how it is done. read more

Now called NBar, we had a great experience here. We needed a salon that could handle a group of 8 for a bridal party a week before the wedding, which was hard to find. The numbers dwindled as some cancelled, but the atmosphere was great, they had wine in flutes, cheeses, meats, crackers, grapes, and strawberries laid out for us, and filled our plates as we sat and had pedicures. We then had manicures. The work was relaxing, professional, and my legs and toes felt great. Massage chairs were wonderful. Made an appt the night before. Came in and got seated immediately. My nail lady was superb with conversing. The other one doing my friends nail was a little cold. I brought my own nail sticker to put on my nails. She did a great job! My friends was cute overall. I wasn't going to be upset over the price. But sometimes I wish I knew what I was paying for. I tried to figure it out in my head myself. So was a little baffled by the total. I have been to this salon numerous times over the last year. I had a great initial fill and pedicure and kept hoping I'd have the same experience going back but unfortunately today's was the hard stop to returning. The gentleman that did my fill was one of the most unkind people I've experienced in the cosmo world. I had a pedicure initially by a woman who was lovely but rushed through my deluxe pedicure and didn't say more than one or two words to me. Next up I had my fill where the gentleman mentioned above felt I needed a full set replacement. No sir, I just had a few nails replaced less than a month ago from this studio and my nails were not in poor condition. He seemed upset by this but I've had my nails done for almost a decade and know when they need to be removed and redone. The rest of the appointment was so awkward and he balanced my hand on the top of a nail bottle to help balance I guess? Didn't work as he kept pulling my hand throughout the fill and tipping the bottle then getting frustrated by me. Again, I'm not new to getting my nails done and know when I should do what as I've been to studio nails a few times. Overall it was just so awkward and uncomfortable and clearly I was not welcomed by him the second I sat down. Now sure if it was as something about me that bugged him, but I've never experienced a service like that and I will not be back. I try to never leave poor reviews anywhere unless I feel it's warranted, but this location has rushed me when I've booked an appointment in advance before and this service, the lack of attention to detail on the results as well, make me want to ensure others don't make the same mistake. read more

The first time I came into this place I wanted to pamper myself as I had been feeling down. I just wanted a simple milky white nail and showed pictures how I wanted it. A lady there argued about the color I picked for seriously like 15 minutes that almost had me in tears. I'm really easy going, I just kept saying I just wanted the color like the photo (seriously how hard is it to get white nails???) she suggested like 5 different colors and I said I was ok with 3 of them, whichever they thought was best, and then she said I was being difficult by not taking her advice for color or something??? I've been here a couple more times after that. I've gotten gel (and paid the $15 up charge) and every single time the gel chips the next day. The one time I got French tips they turned yellowish by the next morning On top of that, if you get a gentleman doing your acrylics, he will try to balance your hand on a nail polish and tug at your hand the entire time. read more

Worst gel manicure and I wont be going here again or recommending unless you enjoy being cut. All 10, yes all 10 of my cuticle edges have cuts on them-some are still bleeding 3 days later when I do something with my hands. Twice today I've bleed. I got these cuticle cuts either from the drill they use to remove the gel polish or the nail guy pressing into my skin with his sharp nail, most painful manicure I've ever experienced. Wasn't impressed with his cleanliness, he cut me and I'm bleeding and he says sorry, pulls out a tissue to wipe away my blood, he has my blood on his fingers and he pulls out a used nail file and now it has my blood on it too. He didn't go and wash his hands. I like the way my nails turned out, but I'm in pain and that shouldn't happen when you are paying money to get your nails done professionally. Worst nail job I ever had. They're way too short, the thumbnail doesn't adhere to the gel, the heart was way too small and looked more like a bat. Just because they were rushing out the door. If they didn't want to do us, they could have said so. The tech was throwing shade at me to a coworker, and when I called her on it, she overdid the denial a bit to be believable. They didnt go down all the way with the acrylic....the person who also did my nails didnt know what they were doing and they had to redo tue polish....i took my daughter and she asked like 10 times for a raindeer design and they only did it after she started crying...at check out they forgot to give me my card so i had to load up my kids and got back to get it and they are very oved priced. I came here to treat myself and got a simple French manicure. While in the salon, it went fairly normal. I was happy with my nails when I left. However, the next day my white nails turned a gross yellow brown. My nails look dirty. Google tells me it's from low quality gel polish. It was very convenient they were open Christmas eve I walked in and it took about 10 min to go back and 40 min to fix 1 nail it was super slow. They kept talking about how good my nails were and amongst each other about everything. I knew color powder wouldn't be spot on because my lady makes her own off white. The most uncomfortable nail service I've had done. Came in to get acrylics and as another woman mentioned in the reviews, I got the same man who tried to balance my hand on top on a nail polish bottle and kept aggressively grabbing my arm and kept telling me to relax. I have gotten my nails done for years and have never had anyone be so picky about the placement of my fingers. It's not like I was so stiff that he couldn't move my fingers. He told me to stop watching him do my nails which just seemed absurd to me. I'm paying for your service. I should be allowed to watch. I've never had anyone do such a thing. The person that did my nails was awful! I made an appointment, then someone walked in shortly after I did. They told me hold for 5 minutes and I waited almost 15 minutes for them to work on someone that was a walk in and I was the appointment. Bad customer service. Didn't listen to anything I asked for. I wanted square round, they shaped it squared and when I asked to make it more round at the corners, they only did one or two nails and now both sides. When they were done, they didn't even put cuticle oil. Terrible place! They don't listen to their customers. Super bummed. I actually really liked this nail salon, everyone is super sweet. Sadly my shellac just keeps chipping. I went back yesterday to get my thumb nail fixed and it has already chipped again. I'm not harsh on my nails, I have no idea how it even happened. I'm also noticing my other nails starting to chip. Maybe it's just their polish but when you live an hour away... it sucks having to drive all the way back to get a nail fixed day after day. Edit (one day after review posted): So annoyed the shellac keeps on chipping. I was trying to place my feet into the water I was getting a pedicure, but it was awkward for me due to how high up the chair & the nail bath was. The nail tech workers said something inappropriate which did hurt my feelings. She said to me 'you scared me'. Because I had a awkward time attempting to get my feet into the foot bath. I was brought up that saying what the woman said is shaming. The woman should have been more comforting not shaming. I didn't like the calf massage it hurt & I didn't know that it came with the pedicure to me a pedicure is the foot. I wasn't comfortable there so I won't be back. I shouldn't have asked for a fancy design, so that's partly on me. A friend recommended this place so I ignored the bad reviews but the bad reviews were right! The process was very painful (more so than at other salons), rushed, and the end result was super ugly and looked nothing like the picture. Don't go here unless you're fine with a painful process and just want a single color. This place is not good. Literally just asked for my nails to be filed on the tips, and gel polish. She started cutting the sides on my nails until my nails were triangular. There was a dead skin all around my nails still. I asked for another lady to shape my nails a couple times She scoffed and She refused. Then I told them you know this isn't working I'm going to a different salon. then she told me OK well you have to pay half price. These photos are the point where she told me I still have to pay half price. I told her no because my nails looked worse than what I came in with. Then she told me oh you do this all the time you walk out without paying for your nails... Trying to embarrass me in front of other customers. And then another person chimed in that worked in the salon and said you did this at my friends salon you walked out without paying. referring to one time at another salon in silverdale that I asked for purple nails. I was left with nails that had gel all over the skin, and then when I asked for them to fix it they took the gel off and chopped the acrylic and accused me of lying when he burned me with the nail file. Anyways they caused a huge scene, I told them I can pull up my debit card statements and the photos I had taken of the other nails that they had messed up that were time stamped. They both proceeded to make a huge scene and yell at me. Andy and susan surely made me feel like a queen... From the time i came in Susan was very nice and welcoming as she did my manicure... Explaining the differences between the deluxe and the regular pedicure... she really got me right... then Andy OMG that wonderful man... I went in with an instagram post not thinking it would be better than the picture with my little tweak to color.. He just said.... hmmmmm I can do this and that and we can make this happen... he starts on my nails very gently removing my old nails and checks on me every few seconds to make sure he isn't being too rough... .. then he gets to work on my acrylic... OMG his artistry is amazing... all i could do is continue complimenting his skill until he put the finishing touches on it... If I could ever love a nail technician for pro skills it would be him.... Just got a pedicure here. I'm pregnant with two young kids. Husband works all the time . Finally get the chance to get away and pamper myself. I chose the #2 pedicure and the full pedicure was about 25 minutes long, start to finish. All of it was rushed through. My heals are the same as when I went in. The massage was maybe 2 mins long. She never turned on the massage chair. I let the ladies know I wasn't happy and they just argued. Then they tell me they can't take cards right now after trying to run my card. They say I need to leave something of mine with them. I said no and they asked to take a photo of my ID which I allowed them to do. Ran across the street to get cash and came back and set it on the counter for them since they were already back busy with customers. Two of the ladies came out looking for me through the parking lot. I've had a few different nail tech for my pedi and they've been good as well. They're attentive to corrections, every time I've asked to fix they've always complied.
