My first time here and I wanted someplace close to where I visit (the YMCA). I was a little early and observed great care to other clients and felt very much at ease. Van checked me in and was so kind. In fact the whole team is very kind. Tommie did my pedicure and Kate my manicure. What really stuck out to me was their kindness to their clients and to each other. The vibe is relaxing. Their prices are reasonable. My nails are mature and went from meh to beautiful. I chose a bright color regular polish and glad I did! A young girl of about ten was getting a mani and pedi as well next to me and they were sweet with her. I tried to upload photos from my phone to my computer to attach- because I thought it would be good to have some "Mature" hands and feet photos- however, I was unable to figure out how to do it! When they remove the nails they pry them off your nails instead of soaking in acetone because they use the illegal MMA monomer NOT the easy to remove LEGAL EMA monomer. This business appeared to have good reviews. It was very clean and neat with newer chairs. Very comfortable. I had an express pedicure and it was the worst one I have ever had. Perhaps it was only this individual that did mine. He was very rough and qick. He filed my nails and the skin around them! Later he sprayed something on them and it burned because of how rough he was. He did not apply a base coat or a top coat, just two layers of polish. The leg massage disappointing. Hopefully, not all of the technicians are like this but I will not go back to find out. read more

Well...I thought I would try a different salon...and I am sorry I did. The water was cool, when I complained the technician told me it was as warm as it could be...she did a very poor job of trimming nails and cuticles. And then I was rushed out of the salon. I'd honestly would have given zero stars. Customer service at first was friendly. I made an appointment hours in advance and came in ten minutes before with my sister in law. Went in for a full acrylic set with white tips. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait 15 min. Not a big deal. The gentleman who put my set on used a tip that was already white so I couldn't control the amount of white showing (I don't care for huge white nails). But I went with it and didn't say anything. He did a really nice job shaping them and was quick. But most of the nails have bubbles all over so they look like they are dirty. I've never had bubbled nails before. I told him that I didn't like the bubbles and he said that's just what happens. So $60 later, I have huge chunky white nails with bubbles on the top. Very disappointed. read more

Theres noooo reason a fresh full set should already have a gap between my finger and the acrylic. Im sure there are better places in kitsap, save your time and money. The man that did my nails was very friendly and kind. One thing to consider though, I had called to see if they were available at a certain time. They told me yes, so I go at that time. Once I get there I had to wait an additional 15-20 min to be helped. Another thing is, my nail art was not the best. I hate having to do this but after years of loving this salon I had my last visit this week. The last few times I've gone the quality has been awful. Chipped, half done, inconsistent. I got a pedicure this time and left sitting in the chair at the end without words. $60 spent. My feet were half scrubbed, so still rough, absolutely drenched in oil and the polish was all over my cuticles. He told me they haven't been busy. Which I felt bad about, they're the nicest people. But if business is slow, work harder on attention to detail, not rushing without paying attention. They lost a client today but I hope seeing this will show them what to work on for others. I came in with my daughters today, and it was our first time. while the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the service was definitely not worth what we paid. my oldest and I had gel pedis, and they look great, but the biggest and most expensive pedi on the menu consisted of a 3 minute rub (a "massage" and about 30 seconds in paragon bags with hot towels on. I've never felt so rushed through a service. then, I paid full price for a mani and a pedi for my 8 year old, but did not get the full service. AND the colors they put on her literally washed off in the shower. $70 and it's already gone, less than 8 hours after we went. ridiculous. no "massage" for her, no callous treatment or cuticle work, just quickly painted nails that went away immediately. I was a walk in to the salon on a Sunday afternoon and I believe I was the only customer in the salon. They (owner) asked me what version of pedicure I wanted and I said gel which is $55.00 (would be a fill because I already had gel on my toes). The nail tech grinds off the old polish, trims my toenails, barely touches the cuticles and starts polishing them. I say wait a minute the nails need to be filled, oh no he and the owner say they don't need it. What ? So he hurriedly touches my cuticles and continues to polish them. How disappointing !! Just wanted to pamper myself a little on a Sunday afternoon. They were the only place open near me. When I arrived a lady was already waiting for a walk in full set. I had an appointment scheduled for noon. I waited about 20 minutes before the male told me I could sit in the chair. Then waited about another 15 minutes until he started my pedicure. First of, all the nail tools he used on me were put straight onto the dirty ass floor then used on me, ew. I got a gel pedicure and he was done after 20 minutes. I've had gel pedicures before and it usually takes about 40 minutes. He was completely rushed because more walk in appointments were coming in. I requested white gel and he only gave me 2 coats and a top coat leaving my nails with streaks everywhere. Basically a 12 year old could've done a better job. My daughters experience this afternoon: My friends and I all got our nails done, and although mine (blue) look completely fine, they messed up both hers and our other friends. Her acrylics are too wide, and are shorter than she asked. My other friend (not in photo) also has her acrylics cut too short, and the skin around her fingers were scraped and had small cuts. I would go to Nails pro to get my refills done again but not my pedicures. Coming from San Diego and regular nails tech, it always trying to find a new one. I love how my acrylics looks. My feet however, not so much. I have a lot of dry skin under my toe nails left they "clean" it.
