DO NOT GO TO #ADORANAILS in SILVERDALE. I am in tears right now and feel so stupid. I will be fighting these charges with my bank. My nails look HIDEOUS. I was lied to by the #Adoranails. I got my nails done last week in a metallic color. It was beautiful, but the edges did not seal correctly. I asked if it could be repaired. They said it could. I was surprised they got me in so fast. Then they seemed to be deliberately misunderstanding me. I said "Repair them! Just fix the tips." They did a complete redo, an unnecessary fill (#scam) and painted my nails black. I said it was the wrong color. The tech cut the sponge and said she fixed it. Well, not only is this color wrong, it is very ugly in most lights. It does not match the color on my toes. Then, she pulls out a ticket and charges FIFTY DOLLARS. I was shocked, but thought, well, at least it's the same color. Then, I saw it in sunlight. Very ugly! I will not pay this. I will not be back to Adora--Ever. If a customer does not ask for a service DO NOT JUST START DOING IT. Listen to what your customer wants. Do not lie or scam. read more

First time I've been here in a long time, and unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with the service. I asked for a deluxe pedicure with white tips. The staff were friendly, but the service itself was very poor. There was minimal scrubbing, the cuticles were not properly trimmed, and the lotion was barely massaged in -- it felt more like my legs were lightly touched rather than a massage. When the nude gel was applied, some of my old nail polish was still visible underneath. Another staff member came over to do the white tip and clipped some dead skin and had to file off the red polish, but only after I pointed it out. The paraffin wax was brought out about 10 minutes before it was applied, so by the time it went on my foot it was lukewarm and already hardening. When I asked if it could be heated again, I was told no. The total was $65, and with tip it came to $70. Unfortunately, this was the worst pedicure experience I've had here. After going to this salon for over 20 years, I left feeling really discouraged and disappointed. I'll likely be looking for a new place moving forward. read more

This place is unsanitary. I did notice that they do not clean tools and reuse files from the previous clients on the new clients. They also don't dust the seats so be prepared to get nail dust all over your pants. There are some people that can do nails well however the process will be rushed. Some workers will make you wash your hands some won't. For a basic set it is expensive considering the quality and service you get. Overall hit or miss depending on who you ask for. I wouldn't recommend going here just because they don't sanitize at all which opens risk to infection. read more

I hate writing bad reviews and rarely do them, but I don't want anyone getting the same experience I did. I have had good service here before, but unfortunately thats not the case anymore. The last two times I was rushed through a full set of acrylics, they didn't allow me to wash off any of the excess acrylic dust and just dabbed cuticle oil on top of my finished sets. They also didn't clean the station or tools when the previous person was there before me. Part of my thumb gel also lifted because the tech rushed me through and didn't let me put them under the lamp long enough. The file was also rushed and the nails were crooked and too sharp. After the whole experience, the tech was just rushing to see what her coworker was doing to another lady getting a pedicure.... Ended up spending $40 on a quick, unprofessional service. I have watched the quality of work and level of cleanliness really take a nosedive at this place over the last several months. When I walked in today I immediately noticed how filthy the floors were and how dirty every surface seemed to be. I was seated at a pedicure chair that definitely had not been wiped down after the last occupant. The tech arrived with her mobile work station that was also filthy. Finally, the tech used a visibly dirty clipper to trim my nails and I had to be done. I left and will not be back. Very disappointed. read more

I choose the give them another chance.. I scheduled an appointment since I go during my hour lunch break. I get there and I am asked to wait 10-15 minutes (this happened last time too) I explained that I called ahead to schedule an appointment to avoid this and I only have an hour. They said ok 5 minutes then. Ok fine 5 minutes. I finally sit down and ask for an acrylic fill and one nail to be repaired. (I broke one) she never repaired said nail just a fill over the broken one. Now it looks like a nub. I also asked for 3 fingers on one hand to be pink and 2 to be orange and the opposite on the other hand. Not what I got. Also this entire process took 20 minutes. She did not take any time to reshape them. (I file them to the length I want before I go in because no one can ever seem to file them short) Yes I know I should have said something while I was there... but I didnt have time to go through the whole process again. Also when she put the UV lamp over my toes she bumped into my toenails. Didn't correct, just painted over. To add insult to injury, she double charged my friend (who was paying for my birthday). BEWARE 5/18/2023: Not to be a Karen but if I'm paying this much for a service I expect it to be done right the first time. I'm sitting in the nail salon now and because it's been a week (understandable) they can only give me a $15 discount after I paid $55 + tip for nails to not even last two days. It took me a week to get in because I left Thursday for a trip and don't return until the following week. Gave them a chance, it's gone downhill. Update: I want my money back. Monday 5/15 my nails are completely broken because of a rushed service. If my nails were done properly it should have lasted 2 weeks and had to redone because it was outgrown, not broken. Update: Came in Wednesday May 10th, 2023 and got French manicure with dip powder. Felt the service was rushed compared to other salons. By Friday May 12th my thumbs cracked, by May 13th four of my nails cracked. I believe only two coats were done. Original review: I was reluctant to remove my old outgrown acrylics and tried to remove them myself at home due to past horror stories. I knew they probably couldn't be soaked off but I tried at home anyway. I hate having to peel my nails off with a plastic tip because it rips the top layer of nail off every time. The process did seem a little rushed but I know they need to get people in and out. I did appreciate having my old outgrown nails removed though (it had been WEEKS). Bella was really sweet and she added on the black tips after a slight miscommunication fairly quickly. My previous nails were much longer. I was sooo disappointed! They didn't even remove all my nail polish before putting dip on my nails because I chose a dark color. Some nails were much longer than the others and I asked is she would mind filing them to make them even. She was not very kind and did a little shaping on one nail and stopped. They were so uneven and randomly shaped I actually asked for the file and did it myself. I've been getting my nails done for over 30 years and have never seen such low pride in someone's work. I tried so hard to be soft and kind when asking for her to fix them, but it got me nowhere. At the end they asked if I was happy and when I said no, then they wanted to fix it. Went in for a manicure and acrylic fill on all and two nails that needed a repair/new tip. They didn't listen whatsoever to what I needed. 1. Burnt me like half a dozen times with the drill 2. His application was super gloppy 3. He was so rude when he was filing and literally cut me with the edge of the file 4. The way he filed left me with these jagged edges on my tips 5. He got up half way through my matte top coat and just left me with someone else and she was awful and slopped top coat on 6. My nails are completely different shapes now 7. The photos. Just come on. 8. where my natural nail and acrylic should be smooth on the sides it looks like I put a too small glue on tip. 9. He filed so deep into the sides of my nail beds to "shape" my nail that I have basically a giant cut all the way from too to bottom of my nail bed. Never again!!!! My daughter went to Adora nails in Silverdale last week on Sunday to get her nails done by Tony and when she went home to Seattle that night , the next day all her nails dropped off to her natural nails. She didn't hit it on anything or pop it off, then the other nails came off right after.. She called that day and told them she would be back next weekend to get them fixed and explained to them what happened. Yesterday morning she went in to get them fixed. She told them when she arrived what happened and then he took all the nails off and fixed her nails, to then proceed to charge her an extra 70 dollars even though she didn't break her nails. Spoke to the manager and she was only willing to take only 20, dollars off. Not reimburse my daughter for the mistake they made. Its outrageous! They did this to a friend of ours also. They are out here not telling people when they need new nails so they can get more money out of people. My college student had to pay 110 dollars in one week for their mistake.. I'm really glad to have found this gem. I have yet to have a bad experience here. My girlfriend and I usually come on Friday mornings after dropping kids off at school. We love getting our Deluxe pedicures (which I believe is now $38- but comes with foot scrub, parrifin dip, and a 10 minute message. They all have timers to ensure you get the full time (and it's not rushed). They also offer sodas, water, wine or mimosas if you get any Deluxe or plus pedicure. The chairs are comfortable and the nail techs friendly. This place is always busy and for good reason. They have a punch card that gives you $20 off once you fill in 10 visits! My shellacs always last 3 or more weeks and I'm always impressed with how well they have try and match all the inspo pictures I bring in. read more

Avoid this place at ALL COST. Today was my second time visiting this place and once again I left disappointed. Both of my visits I asked and paid for a dip manicure and didn't receive what I paid for. Both times my cuticles were never trimmed or pushed back. And they never even asked did I want my nails trimmed down at all. Today I went in and I specifically told my nail tech - "the last time I was here even though I paid for a manicure I didn't receive it and my cuticles weren't trimmed". In hopes that he would actually do the service I was paying for. Nope didn't happen. I was never asked did I want my nails trimmed. He trimmed 1 piece of cuticle after finishing with the dip and that was it. My color I chose required 3 layers for it to be opaque - that's completely fine. However, he applied 3 layers, then drilled my nails down essentially obliterating the 3rd layer of polish and I can see my nail bed on every on of my fingers through the dip. Each of my nails is filed unevenly. They almost all have a slant to them. My cuticles and hands are so dried out from the necessary acetone soaking and no lotion or oil of any kind was applied. I called after I left to inform them that I was unhappy with my nails - they also had ENTIRELY too many people in this salon with the current covid guidelines. There was like 4 people all standing by the front desk and people were packed in like sardines. So I quickly paid and left. They informed over the phone incredibly rudely that they don't offer refunds and that their staff always asks if The client wants their cuticles trimmed. That's funny. Tell that to my massive amount of cuticles I have still on my fingernails. They offered to "fix it" despite me telling them I would never return here. Edited to add: they also drilled my nails down so thinly I'm afraid to go and have another salon fix them because I'm scared it will cause actual damage to my nails. If you want your nails to look like shit and feel like wasting $40+ this is the place to go. read more

I will never go back. The manicure was the worst one ever. I caaled and told them I wasn't satisfied and was told to come back, which I did. And boy did I receive ATTITUDE. The manager tried telling me it was because I had dry skin. But, she would fix it. Told me to "sit" like you would a dog. I sat for 10 minutes and nobody came over or told me anything. I finally got ticked and left. I then went to my favorite place and when the manager there looked she said no it wasn't "just dry skin". i told her I needed them fixed and she took care of me. Prices are hefty and not the nicest . But then nails are fire tho. They do last. However if they are long they tend to break . Never a problem w them fixing a broken nail at no charge but it's best if you have receipt . To avoid the "are you sure you did them here" design are amazing and they are fast. read more

This is my normal shop so I've refrained from leaving a review. However the last time was just bad. We paid over $400, for three manicures and three pedicures. Two eyebrow wax. They have been rude recently, and less than par work. They aren't updating their abilities at all to match modern day styles. The have fallen down hill since the pandemic started. I think they are using dirty tools. They are using drills with unchanged heads and nail dust on them from previous customers, as well as the files. They used to have a guy Brian who was really skilled, but they can only do old school airbrush. That's what they told me anyways. The last time the man who did my nails really hurt my fingers and he was rough with both my sister and I. It's my best friends favorite spot. She paid more to get a massage and the lady punched her over and over again with the side of her fist. They can't do ombré very well, and they don't listen to the customer. -The two ladies next to us said they had to go and just wanted finished what was started. Instead the guy started on her nails and told her he would finish quickly. They declined but the guy pressured her and the women uncomfortably stayed where they were. -Also a women came in with a nail that needed fixing, her finger was broken. The woman asked the lady over and over to be more gentle. I could see from my pedi chair how calm she was trying to convey the need for the technician to not put so much pressure on her obviously disfigured finger. The lady just continued on. I would love to find a new place, but I haven't found anything promising on this side of the water. - my last issue this last time was that they left a lot of exposed nail, and didn't clean up my nails before hand or after. - the nails were for my vow renewal. They both got sat down before I did. To top it off the main lady forgot what I wanted. And the technician almost put the wrong nail polish on. And another lady came and smacked my hand like if I was joking. When I was done to move and get mani. I was told technicians are going home cuz they live in Tacoma. the place was very nice and welcoming. very clean and loud but not too loud. more like a silent buzz of talking. i needed a fill and a new design and pointed out some of the cracks or discoloration in my nail and she fixed it. she didn't speak much english but she understood what i wanted and provided it. it was about 60$ which was a little more expensive than what i thought but the design was exactly what i asked for!! she dif have to do the stars a few times to get it right but it's still cute :) ps i asked the lady to not make the stars perfect because it added personality read more
