I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible!

Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. The locker rooms are big enough to handle large crowds as I've never felt uncomfortably close to other patrons in the room. The saunas located around the property are a nice touch and also welcoming as a moderate way to dry off. For and amped up experience, ask about the soaking regimens in which you soak in different pools for energy or relaxation/recovery. The food and drink offerings are satisfying and presented well. I have not used their services, but feedback from a friend from my last visit was positive. The downside is that patrons tend to leave their cups EVERYWHERE. ALSO - they haven't figured out the pricing so we have seen many changes in structure. I will continue to visit especially since they are completing some renovations to an already comfortable place.

However, when it comes to weekends, its the complete opposite, almost like a pool club. It gets very crowded which is fine however, people play music on phone speakers, talk loudly and it gets very messy - empty cups, towels, drinks left everywhere and it can remain on the edge of a pool for a long time. There are multiple pools and saunas, each with different temperatures and benefits to explore. Whether you want to detox, relax, or simply enjoy the water, there's plenty to choose from. You can also book add-on services like massages or scrubs for a more personalized experience. There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, and while children are allowed, we thankfully didn't have many around us during our visit, so it still felt peaceful and serene. The locker room and bathhouse areas are fully nude, which is something I chose not to experience due to personal preference. However, one thing I did feel strongly about as a parent of girls was the fact that children are also allowed to walk around nude in these areas. While I understand this is part of the cultural setup for some spas, I believe Spa Castle should consider a policy that prohibits nudity for minors. Unfortunately, pedophiles don't have a "look," and some parents can be completely unaware of their surroundings. For the sake of child safety, I'd strongly recommend the spa reevaluate this policy and put something in place to protect the kids. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and can't wait to return to see what the upcoming renovations look like. This place has a ton of potential and offers a unique, refreshing escape from the day-to-day.

Jennifer's reviews and the warm atmosphere of her practice looked very inviting(just by the website), so I decided to make an appointment. On the day of my facial appointment, I expressed my concerns to the aesthetician. I mentioned that I was feeling quite nervous about the treatment, as I'm not very fond of makeup, I only wear it for gatherings and church. I've also seen some interesting results from micro-needling. I asked if she could walk me through the facial step by step, show me the needles, and explain what was happening during it. Let me tell you! Jennifer is incredibly knowledgeable about skincare and what she did for my face. I have never met an esthetician with so much expertise and such a calming, spiritual demeanor. I felt amazing afterward. She did this treatment a week before my Italy trip, and my skin felt fantastic in the days following the appointment no burning or irritation at all. Italy my face felt amazing the whole time I was there. THIS IS WHY I WILL ONLY LET HER TOUCH MY FACE!!! After returning from my trip a few months later, I reached out to her because I had been so busy. I mentioned that my skin was dry, dull, and in need of hydration.
