Special: Grilled Vegetables over rice
Emmeline H.

I've been coming here for over a decade, and when I moved back from the Bay Area, I was so glad to see they were still around--it really says a lot about how consistently good they are. My husband always goes for the gyro wrap, while I like to switch things up. My go-to is the chicken teriyaki bowl with rice and added serrano peppers for that extra kick, or sometimes I'll opt for the chicken teriyaki salad instead. Definitely one of our go-to spots!

Cash or Zelle only. Small locally owned business that serves great food at reasonable prices! Service was good and the guy helping us at the counter was friendly. We got two combo plates with 4 types of meat: gyro, lamb, chicken and beef. All the meat was tender and flavorful. The rice was mixed with chickpeas and was also delicious!

Bring your cash and your patience because it is worth it. I stopped based off of a different review and it is some of the best gyros I've had in years. I came up here for work and wanted to get something quick before heading out and this was perfect. It's a one-man show so you might have to wait a little bit, but do it. The sauce is fresh and the portions are generous.

Bring cash, they don't take plastic here anymore. The best gyros you will ever have. These sandos are absolutely stuffed with meat and fresh ingredients. I've been eating here for over a decade and have yet to finish an entire gyro in one sitting. The service is great. The owner is very personable and runs the restaurant single handed. The ambiance is simple and clean. Be ware, if you get a gyro here you will complain anytime you go to any other gyro spot. Prices are great too.

Waiting on some good eats!

I really wanted to like Super Gyros, but it just isn't for me. I don't think I'll be returning either. Firstly, there was only one person working--taking orders and making food and ringing folks up. At dinnertime on a Thursday. This led to quoted wait times between 35-45 minutes while I waited for my order. Not sure if it was just an unfortunate circumstance/call-out or what, but it doesn't seem tenable to keep it a one-man operation if that isn't the case. He was nice, if obviously harried by the continuous orders. Also strong pro-LEO vibe inside, just to make an observation. Secondly, the food was sort of all over the place. I got the lamb plate, the falafel (with extra tzatziki sauce), and hummus with pita. The lamb plate was okay--the rice was really good--but the actual lamb itself was really salty and I ended up giving my leftovers to my partner. The hummus was confusing--bland, really bitter, and yet also really salty? The pita wasn't very soft either, instead sort of dry and stiff. I liked the falafel the least. They were bland and overall really dense and toothsome. Like the mixture was overworked. Really good tzatziki though. Like I said, overall it just isn't for me.

So yummy

Robert does a fantastic job of making high-quality, healthy, & delicious Mediterranean diet for very reasonable prices. To avoid waits during busy times, best to call ahead because he has a very loyal following.

Slicing the meat off the spinning rotisserie

Wow oh wow! This is THE spot for Greek dishes. They have gyro, lamb, kabobs, and more. I was able to try the gyro sandwich and it was delicious. I arrived during lunch hours and found it was quiet and empty when I came in. No customers around but I did see two staff members behind the counter and the young gentleman (maybe the owner?) was able to take my order. Their menu is not extensive and very simple. Therefore, looking at all the great options and the establishment title, I had to go with the gyros sandwich. He made it fast! The meat is sliced off the spinning rotisserie meat and reheated on the griddle. From there, the sandwich is made with various veggies to complement the dish. The sandwich was filled! I didn't expect to have so much meat, but it was a perfect ratio. The pita bread was fluffy and the meat was delicious and not too salty. For the price, it is affordable and a great spot to grab food on the go. Plenty of parking in the private lot and seating to dine in. I can't wait to try the other items off the menu!

I was really impressed of the portion size they give you. Usually, I'm able to eat the entire poke bowl, but it was definitely a challenge here. I will come back next time I'm in town!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION- YOU WILL GET SICK! If I could…read moregive this place 0, I would. The reviews definitely don't reflect the actual service and food at this location. Starting off, my best friend and I were in Modesto for Barnes and Noble to get some books for my son. This location being right next to the bookstore was convenient so we went inside. The young girl who served us looked disgusted the moment my best friend said she'd never eaten there and wasn't sure how to order. She looked at her like she was stupid and just said what do you want and was not helpful whatsoever. She got the small poke bowl and I got a small donburi bowl. After what took over 5 minutes for her getting our two bowls from us, she walked away after I paid and I had to ask another worker for a lid to my bowl. Whatever, service sucked, maybe she was having a bad day? We sat down to eat (still hadn't gotten the chicken tempura and gyoza I had ordered for my son). Before my son's food even was ready I had bitten into a very bad piece of shrimp tempura that tasted as if the inside of the batter was covered in mold. I immediately spit it back out into a napkin and just sat there about to throw up. I sat there thinking this is probably just a mistake and maybe I imagined it. Then my son showed me his chicken that he said he didn't want to eat. It was old, rubbery, did not resemble chicken at all, and had black stuff around the chicken under the batter. I went to the worker who was at the counter and told her what we had received. She didn't seem surprised at all, but more surprised I wanted a refund for the two items that were spoiled. No manager onsite, apparently they usually aren't there. She called the manager who did not answer the phone but proceeded to text the worker. Asking exactly what happened several times and then proceeded to say the black on the chicken is seasoning before it's fried, which is not true because the come pre battered and it was just old. I had accepted no refund on the chicken for the ridiculous excuse, but I wanted a refund on the donburi bowl at the very least. The manager asked her to open my napkin and send a pic of the shrimp!!!! THAT IS SO NASTY! That young girl does not get paid enough to be doing all of that. That is revolting! I ended up opening it for her so she didn't have to so she could and a pic. Then the manager stopped responding to her by text. That's fine, Manager, that's fine. You should've just given me a refund for your nasty ass food that was not edible. Now you'll be receiving a visit from the county health department as they were called the moment I left your restaurant because of the food being kept at room temperature, your dirty facility, and the spoiled food you're serving to paying customer. This idiot sent me into my Karen era and I do not even care. Don't mess with people's food. Good luck.

While I typically avoid paying premium prices for coffee, I decided to treat myself and finally give this location a try. Upon entering, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and placed an order for three iced coffees, which I stated clearly. When my order was delivered, two of the drinks were iced, while one was served hot. I calmly and politely mentioned that all three were supposed to be iced coffees. At that point, I overheard an employee respond in the background with an attitude, stating that I had ordered the drink hot. I fully understand that mistakes can happen--orders can be entered incorrectly, and errors are part of any service environment. However, my concern lies with the dismissive attitude and the decision to challenge the customer's request in front of them. This interaction left a poor impression, and as a result, I do not plan to return to this establishment. I will instead continue supporting my usual coffee shops.

1 word - WOW! Came…read morehere 3/15. It was packed, but we got a table. Service was 10/10, super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable - the whole staff, not just our waitress. My party was seated fairly quickly. Our waitress took all our orders by memory - we were a party of 8! I got the Chicken Marsala: Chicken, sauce, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and gravy. I started off with the mixed veggies - they were cooked soft, just how I like them. They were also flavorful! Not just regular ole steamed frozen veggies, they definitely were buttered and seasoned or something. Next, the mashed potatoes. I'm not a mashed potato connoisseur - matter of fact, I usually skip eating mashed potatoes when they're available. These mashed potatoes however were so flavorful! And it was not only the gravy doing all the talking, it was both the mash and the gravy. I was impressed! Lastly, the chicken Marsala. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, moist on the inside & fully cooked - and with chicken breast, we all know how hard that is to accomplish. The sauce was incredible. I have never had any Marsala sauce as good as that. So much flavor, very savory. Altogether, the flavors worked together and worked perfectly. If only I wasn't an hour away, I would come here more often. I hope to be here again someday!

Unfortunately the bread was not edible due to the taste of old grease. I simply discarded the bread and ate the 2 piece of turkey and bits of bacon. My son enjoyed the Tri-itip, but again the grilled bread tasted of old grease. He enjoyed the fries as well. The service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant, but at these prices, and the taste of old grease from the grill, I could not recommend this restaurant. The bill was $39.97 and we did not have anything to drink! Go democrats! Lol!
