    Title: Beware of Unexplained Upcharges and Price Surprises…read more From the moment I called to inquire about their prices to the shocking moment I received my bill, it was a rollercoaster of frustration and disappointment. Let me start with the initial phone call. I called to ask about their prices for dry cleaning a few garments, and I was given what seemed like a reasonable quote. However, upon picking up my clothes, I was handed a bill that was nearly double the quoted price. When I asked about the discrepancy, the staff noted "additional services" that were never mentioned during the phone call or during drop off--which was a price quote still higher than the price provided during the phone call. What infuriates me the most is the lack of transparency. If there are additional charges, customers deserve to know about them upfront, not be blindsided at the checkout counter.

I brought in my wife's blazer for a dry clean not too long ago. She needed it for an important presentation and the gentleman (I think the owner) said it will be done by the time we needed it. Indeed, the blazer was ready by the promised date and I picked it up. When we checked the blazer at home it had black smudges in multiple places that were not there before. My wife had to go out and buy another blazer last minute prior to her flight that day. I brought the blazer back in and the gentleman said he will send it back to the plant. A few days later, I got a call saying that it was ready. I went to pick it up. This time, I took off the plastic bag and checked the blazer while in store. It STILL had some of the black smudges as well as new large areas of light but very visible black stain, almost like a water mark. I showed them to him and although he initially tried to say he didn't see it, which turned into "it was probably there before", but he eventually agreed that they were there. These new stains were ABSOLUTELY NOT THERE before. He said he will send it back to the dry cleaning plant again. He was very nice so I said OK and came home. I went back to pick it up a few days later only to find that the stains were STILL THERE!!!. I usually have a really good amount of patience when it comes to things like this. However, this was so frustrating. Why would you not check the clothing for stains before calling the customer if it has been going back to the plant to be re-washed three times? I told the gentelman at that point that I need money for the dry cleaning cost as well as for the blazer because the clothing appears to be ruined now. He said he will talk to the plant and come up with a solution. Fast forward to today, about 30 minutes ago, I called the shop. A lady picked up this time and told me the blazer was ready yet again... I was doubtful but went into take a look. This time, the stains did appear to be gone. However, the blazer was pretty much ruined. They must have been so aggressive with the cleaning to get the stains out (stains that they caused) that the fabric appears to be permanently wrinkled and the seams are coming apart. The gentleman that I have been talking to was not there today. The lady who picked up the phone earlier who apparently is a tailor there was EXTREMELY rude. She was basically yelling that there was nothing wrong with the blazer despite me showing the areas that are clearly damaged. She in a very accusatory manner asked if I am saying this because I want money from them as if I am trying to scam them. She went on to say that she is just a tailor and the owner won't be back until 9/15 (today is 6/29) that there was nothing that she can do. She said she will contact the dry cleaning plant to call me and that I have to talk to them directly despite I am using their service. I was very patient throughout this whole episode as the gentleman tried to fix the issue and sending the blazer in multiple times to remove the stain. I am obviously not thrilled with the experience of going back and forth to find the issue not resolved. However, this lady's behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I not only will never return to this cleaner but will not stop until I get reimbursed the dry cleaning cost and the cost of the blazer.
