    Beef bean and cheese burrito
    Raeann P.

I've been eating here since I was a kid, but haven't been back in probably 10 years. IT HOLDS UP. The beef bean and cheese is a tried and true option, and it hit like it always has. The prices are beyond reasonable, and the burritos are fresh and large. Kind wait staff, quick service, highly recommend!

This place was outstanding. I got the asada burrito clocking in at $9 - a great value for bend! The meat portions were generous and tortilla large and filling! The staff is super friendly and helpful if you feel overwhelmed with too many options. I'd recommend this place for just about everyone looking for a value lunch, something grab and go yet authentic and doesn't compromise on value!! I'll definitely be back!!!

We wanted a few tacos walking back to our hotel and noticed this spot. When we ordered I expected the tacos to be street style but these were bigger loaded tacos and we loved them. We tried the asasa and the lengua, the lengua was more tender but they were both super good.

Food is always good and prices are unbeatable. Where can you get a bean and cheese burrito for $6 these days? At least a good one? Always enjoy their chile verde burrito.

    Pastor burrito. Mostly beans.

Definitely a chill, taqueria style vibe. There was a steady flow of patrons but wasnt crowded. I decided to try a pastor burrito and carne asada nachos because I couldnt make up my mind. I feel prices are low but you get what you pay for- smaller portion or skimping on food itself/quality. The burrito: i inhaled it quickly and wasnt very full. It was a squishy burrito for sure..mostly full of watery refried beans, some 'pastor' which didnt have much flavor and was full of fat which i attempted to take out as i ate it. The tortilla itself was a bit dry/toasted as well. Nachos: for $9, its not a bad price for the small amount.. but id rather pay $12 for more of everything. The one layer of tortilla chips were covered beautifully in the guac, pico de gallo, sour cream, beans and meat. It needed more chips for sure. If this was my entree, id be left hungry still. And wish they were homemade chips. With their two salsas, a more mild green and a spicy red, and having to pay for chips, and the mediocre food, I dont plan on returning.

    Super supreme burrito!

Sooooo goooood! Just a classic burrito flavor, especially the super supreme: a chile relleno & your choice of meat burrito I always get carne asada. So good. Super burrito is an OG Taqueria/burrito place in Bend, in my opinion they make the best burritos in town.

Beef enchiladas, it was supposed to be cheese.

Fast and yummy. The burritos are huge. The chille rellano is an added treat! This is my family's top spot to have burritos at.

After all that hard work, our family always ends up back at El Rodeo. It's our go-to spot and has been for years. The service is always great and the people working there are genuinely friendly and kind. It feels like a real family restaurant where they're happy you showed up. The bar is also a fantastic place to grab a drink or margarita, play a little video poker, and end up talking to half the locals in Bend. Somehow you go in for dinner and leave feeling like you attended a neighborhood reunion. The food is exactly what you want when you're craving Mexican: hot, good, and a lot of it. I have never once left there hungry or disappointed. Plates show up looking like they were designed for a lumberjack who skipped lunch. They recently remodeled the bar, which looks nice... but personally I believe Mexican restaurants should be built once in about 1987 and then left exactly the same forever. It's part of the charm. That said, the remodel won't stop me from going back regularly. Great people, great food, strong margaritas, and the kind of place that makes Bend feel like home. Five stars all day.

I ordered a Tostada with ground beef and a side of rice, the DH a Carne Asada Burrito. He got a margarita with "grand mariner" on the rim which means "gran gala". I got a top shelf with rail tequila; salt- rocks. I was surprised to receive our drinks in a plastic cups; which of course the salt does not adhere to. The tostada was so loaded and large that the corn tortilla was soggy immediately. It ended up being a plate of mush. The rice was very bland, and it had peas in it. This is not Mexican rice. The husband said his was okay, but there is a Florida chain called "Chuy's" which cannot be touched by any restaurant here in Bend. . The ticket was $78. Way too expensive for plastic cup drinks and mediocre "Mexican" food. Our server was nice and the reason for the 3 stars. Again, Bend is the destination for high priced and mediocre dining food and experience.

Loved that all the food is homemade including the tortillas. We ordered the carne asada and chipotle tacos along with an order of eloté. We could not have been more pleased. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and we grabbed a table under a big tree. The menu offers some great selections. I was tempted to try the chilaquiles but tacos always get me. Carmen's Famous Tortilla Soup looked really tasty as well, so it looks like I have a reason to return. Alcohol including tequila is also served along with refreshing aqua frescos. Our food came out fairly quickly and it was hot and ready to eat. Tacos were juicy and the eloté although not the best I have ever had still provided good flavor. Location is easy to find although parking was tight. Perhaps it was the time of day we came and it was a weekend. Service was quick and efficient. Ambiance was perfectly beautiful sitting amongst the trees. I would recommend should you find yourself in Bend stopping here for a little bit of Mexico!
