I was very disappointed. I purchased a wet burrito in a red sauce. It tasted like the sauce was a spicy tomato sauce and not a proper red chili sauce. I also in the past had menudo here and I was again disappointed. I doubt I will go back again. The seats are not nailed to the floor and when I try to get out of the seats the bottom flies up and I nearly fell to the ground. I enjoyed Super Antojitos at one time, but they have gone cheap. BTW when you get chips at the table at the store on Bristol it comes with a plate of beans, you do not get the same at the Fairview location. read more

Im a sucker for sour cream, pico de gallo, salsa, and any other condiment you can put in front of me. Came here with the BF who swore by this place and ordered a carne asada burrito wet. I felt all I was eatting was tortilla. All in all it was.....sub par. Ive had way better and honestly it was ok but not worth the calories. My BF had a chicken burrito of which he didnt really care for either. Our conclusion is he was drunk or hungover when he came here last. This is a really cute, 50s diner-style Mexican restaurant. The service is quick and attentive. I like to order their combo with a cheese enchilada and a carne asada taco (with guacamole on the side, being the avocado lover that I am). I wouldn't say their salsa that comes with the chips is that great (it needs more flavor), but their guacamole is really good AND this place has, by far, THE TASTIEST rice in any Mexican restaurant I've been to. I brought my mexican friend here, she loves the salsa because she says, "It's just like how my mom makes it... my mom would love this place." Did I hit this spot on a off day? Despite the reviews, I didn't find it a 4 star place. The flavors were definitely there, but unfortunately, not the quality of the ingredients. I felt like I was eating several day old food - reheated. My rice was crusted on top and the chicken in my enchilada was cold, and the corn shell of my tamale was very dry, hard and gritty, not the melt in your mouth sorta tamale. My husband loved his web burrito, but agreed the freshness of the meat was not there. They also serve salsa out of pancake syrup bottles as you would find in IHOP. Is that fresh? My fiancé and I have been coming here for almost over a yet now. The staff is always super nice! (DAVID) is the nicest, most down to earth guy I've met at a food establishment. I don't drink but my fiancé LOVES the Michelada's, more then he loves me I think...(JK) We normally go on Mondays for mini burrito Monday but since I was recently hospitalized I had to have a liquid/soft diet- then I discovered the Caldo De Res Soup. This soup I have now had everyday this week since I got discharge from the hospital. Whether your getting burritos, beans, soup, or a Michelada, you cannot go wrong here. The best place if you love burritos. I recommend the camarones a la diabla and the mole poblano burrito. Nothing on the menu has ever failed. This is the BEST place to have authentic Mexican food, everything that I've had here is great but my absolute favorite has got to be the fajitas de mar cielo y trierra, (steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas) this is also the best place to get michiladas , if you've never had one, you have to have one here!!!
