It's a solid little taco stall inside the northgate market. Al pastor and the carne were great for what it is but hard to compete in this saturated taco market lol. Great if you need to do a quick grocery run or want to visit a bunch of other stalls. Could spend a few hours in here on a food tour too. They're a few bucks a pop so not too bad and easy to grab a plate and keep going around. Mostly good to stop by if you're nearby or want to come for the market but not really a drive across town kinda place. Food: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 7/10

This is my go to place to eat before shopping at Mercado. I get the Asada Torta. The meat is tender and flavorful! The bun is soft and lightly toasted! Service is excellent and it usually quick between order and pick up. I go on the early side for lunch and there is plenty of seating inside and out. It's located inside the food court.

Food here is bomb. Wish they had a stand alone location instead of inside the Northgate. Service was quick. Chill vibe. Will be going here again. The suadero tacos are flavorful and melt in your mouth. It may be my new favorite. The chicken was good too. Juicy.

This was our first time here and let me tell you....the tacos were delicious!!! We had a variety of meats, like Al Pastor with pineapple, Asada and Shredded Chicken. The staff were all super nice and answered all our questions. Our tacos came out really quick too! Remember this and many other food vendors are inside the new Northgate Market...."so much to eat & look at here!!!!!"

Quick service super friendly staff. The tacos were cheap under $4 and reasonable very similar to street tacos and tasted authentic to me. They have salsa bar, filled with onions, cilantro etc. To me the best meat there is the Al Pastor. The quesadillas are huge and filling not bad for $10 bucks. The salsas are spicy in my opinion whether the green or red. The ambiance is very busy, but sometimes it's nice to hear the band playing on the stage it can be pretty loud. Indoor and outdoor seating, depending on time it can get crowded so be mindful of that.

Located inside Mercado Gonzalez is this amazing lil taco stand. I tried their Al Pastor today in burrito form. This behemoth of a burrito was freaking amazing. I highly recommend checking this place out. They offer tacos, burritos, tortas. They have lengua too if you're in to that. They have a fantastic salsa bar too. Food is totally affordable and comes out super fast. Seating all around, you'll find a spot even if it's busy. Just go to other parts of the store there's plenty of seating.

Had a bite of my husband's tacos from Tacos Los Guichos and thought they were good! My husband really enjoyed these tacos and said they were just as good as any street tacos. Out of all the meats, he particularly loved the al pastor tacos. The service was fast and the workers were friendly! The spicy salsa was also particularly memorable. There was a line but it moved pretty quickly.

My friends and I had heard so many good things about Northgate Market, so we made sure to stop by during our road trip. The market is huge and has tons of small business vendors, kind of like a food court. Tacos Los Guichos, offers tacos under $4 each. I really liked their self-serve salsa bar, which had onions, cilantro, sliced radishes, limes, and both mild and spicy sauces. We got two carne asada tacos and one lengua taco. The tacos were on the smaller side (but that wouldn't have mattered if they were really tasty). Sadly, the carne asada was chopped so small it almost looked like ground beef, and it didn't have any of that nice grilled flavor- it was kind of bland. The lengua taco was good though, and I would order that one again. The lengua meat was chopped into nicely portion cubes and was soft and tender. (Lengua is ox tongue) The service was great, and the staff was friendly and smiled every time we passed by. As for the ambiance, the location is perfect--it's part of a bigger Hispanic market. They have both indoor and outdoor seating; we sat outside, it was beautiful and nicely shaded.

I tried the torta with carne asada and burrito with chicken and both were great. I appreciate that they had a section for salsa and containers and bags to put it into. I would suggest that they cut the food in half - or maybe I just need to ask next time.

There was a long line waiting for this place. I ordered Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos and they were good! They were $2.99 per taco and total for 4 came up to be around $12.00+. The meat wasn't dry and it was flavorful. But the Al Pastor was spicy for me, which I didn't know was spicy. The wait in line and to pick up was maybe a total of 20+ minutes, as it moved slowly but also a long line. They also have a small sauce stand with various sauces, but it wasn't labeled. They'll call your name and you can go to the pick-up area to get your food. Recommendation(s): - Al Pastor Tacos (a bit spicy) - Carne Asada Tacos Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Very long lines - Accept Apple Pay - Has sauce stand

Came on a Monday lunch and this place was packed. The line was about 15 minutes and it was the longest compared to other places. The wait for the tacos to be cooked was another 20 minutes. They were pretty cheap granted the tacos are kinda small, but they were filled with lots of meat. For the time you need to wait for these tacos I might opt for something else. It's good, but nothing special. Carne Asada- 3.75/5: I preferred the taste of this one to the Al pastor, but the meat was on the drier side in comparison. Al Pastor- 3/5: I opted to put pineapple pieces on top and personally I wasn't a fan of the meat and pineapple combo. The meat in this one was juicier.

Inside North Gate! If you have not checked out North Gate - it's worth checking out. Little Mexico inside a supermarket! Off the chart! Imagine grand central and Anaheim packing district but Hispanic theme with 1 sushi place. This food stand is one of the many food option! Street tacos style and lots of meat choices like carne asada, al pastor, sudadero. I tried one of each- the meat was well flavored and so was the sauce. Handmade tortilla as well. There is sauce bar you which is always my favorite. You can grab a taco, graba drink and listen to the mariachi band. Simple and fun

I was finally able to swing by the north gate mercado and was able to try a few of the food stalls found within. We ended up grabbing some tacos and tortas from tacos los guichos. The tacos are excellent and pricing seems to be on par with other taco joints. The lengua tacos were very good although I thought the carne asada and al pastor tacos were just ok, not bad by any means but nothing to write home about either. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

My son loves coconut ice cream but now he also loves flan! They have a cool decor in the restaurant and it's very modern. There's a bathroom at the end and they have high chairs if you need them. It's a fun spot to grab a drink for the ambiance, but as a full meal, it leaves a lot to be desired. The food itself is okay--the quesa birria tacos have decent flavor and the carne asada comes with a nice char--but given the steep prices, you expect way better execution and more generous portions. Paying high-end money for pretty standard street food staples dressed up on nice plateware just feels overpriced. Service was fine enough, nothing to complain about, but the value just isn't there for what they're charging. On top of that, parking can be a bit challenging since it's tucked away in kind of a weird location. If you're going purely for photos, fancy cocktails, and a trendy date night backdrop, it fits the bill, but if you're looking for great food value, there are much better spot-on Mexican joints in OC.

I appreciated that the quesadilla was super cheesy, it was a great size too and was perfect as an entree with the beans and rice. The tacos were delicious as well, the roasted salsa was slightly smoky with a good jalapeño flavor, the meat was tender, and the tortillas had a great chew. The churros are not to be underestimated- they were thick and fluffy, and the dipping sauces were perfect accompaniments. The flan was the super star of the whole night for me- genuinely the most perfect, custardy, unctuous flan I've ever had. The vanilla bean specks throughout gave it such flavor, there wasn't a ton of syrup but it honestly did not need it. There is absolutely nothing that could have improved that flan.
