No elevator - we were not aware when booking. Assigned a room on second floor. The associates were all friendly however the property looks tired. Our room had a shower knob that was loose so controlling the water temp was a challenge. Furthermore, the ceiling looked like it was patched by an amateur. The place is well located but expensive for a Super 8, however other hotels in the area were significantly more in price. Probably would stay there again unless some improvements were made. read more

Last night I stayed in a room that cost me $400. I was an adult when you named your motel super 8 and that was because you were going to be a better experience than junkie motel 6. And you charged $8 a night. Honestly I was very unimpressed. $400 a night. The sheets were ragged and those things you put on top of the beds are from about 1960. And your towels, oh my goodness, thin and white and rough and old. I got a text message - it was very nice welcoming me to my room and asking me if I needed anything. I replied and asked that I would like a few more pillows and another blanket which we did end up needing but no one ever replied. No elevator. $400 a night. Three flights and no elevator. Yes the room was clean. The housekeeper seemed very kind and helpful. But for $400 a night you guys should really up your standard. read more

Was not a good place to stay. Staff hardly speaks English. Pancakes machine was unreliable entire stay. Air conditioning barely keep room cool, refused to give me a printed receipt at end of stay. I will never stay here again and would not recommend to anyone and I stay at hotels all over with world in my work travels and this was by far the worst. read more

I've never experienced such unprofessional customer service. When I called and stroke to I believe a "Carlos"at the front desk with a few simple questions regarding rates and my informed him my preference to book online for this establishment, the employee actually told me to "stop wasting his time" and then hung up on me. Completely rude and unacceptable. If this is how guests are treated before even arriving, I can't imagine what the stay would be like. I will never consider booking here again and would not recommend this motel to anyone. read more

This place was a little pricy for what it offers, does not have a pool, spa, or fitness center unlike other hotels. It looks rustic and old fashioned but is a cool place to take the fam for any occasion. Upon entering we were greeted with free unlimited popcorn, cookies, and hot chocolate which made our experience even better. The rooms are pretty nice and spacious with great views out the window, the only downsides of this hotel are the high prices, lack of amenities, and no elevator but besides that this hotels was pretty great! read more

Booked my stay for the wrong night, the manager was really accommodating and fixed my mistake without charging me any extra. Can't say enough good things about how they handled the situation! read more

They get five stars for the price but you definitely feel like you're staying in a dump. Even motel 6 seems upscale compared to this super 8. We booked because of the Wyndham name. I had no idea that Wyndham could slum it like this. The noisy heater cycled between cold and warm all night long, the shower water never got warmer than tepid, the itchy blanket was no thicker than a sheet and even with all the lights on it, was no brighter than a nightclub at 11 p.m. If you're on the lower level you will hear every creak and stomp. You will hear the toilet flush above you and if you feel like sleeping in, forget about it. We appreciated the side entrance,as our room was near that door however it's not cool when you open the door and someone is smoking not three feet away. There was a healthy choice of cold breakfast items and a fun pancake machine but with the low ceiling, tiny space and tiny tables it was extremely uncomfortable to eat there. The super 8 is fine for a night or two- especially if you can't find anything less expensive. But make sure you bring your own blanket and some earplugs. read more

Only there for the night. Adequate lodging, nothing out of the ordinary. We had a first floor place. There are no elevators for the second floor. The place was completely booked for the eve. The room has a flatscreen, non smoking, 2 queen beds, microwave, refrigerator, 1 chair, shower with tub with grab and go breakfast starting at 6am. Quiet on the premises. Parking lot. read more

If you can afford 4 stars in Jackson Hole, you're probably paying someone to read these reviews. The hotel is decent for the money and the location. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. read more

I travel a lot for business so I hope that I will get a decent night's sleep prior to the next days meetings and long drive. Not here. As previously stated by other people this hotel is older. It's dirty and it smells. I can actually live with that if its safe. I always felt safe. The iss ue is that the floor above has zero insulation. I mean zero. Elephants checked in both nights above my room. 2am last night. And then they stomped yelled and if I'm not mistaken rearranged all of the furniture. 2x. Very nice , attentive front desk. They don't really serve breakfast . They do offer coffee and fruit, and a plastic wrapped muffin from the 24 hour gas station. Fyi I can live with all of this except the unbelievably loud sounds. Ps the trash truck picks up at 430 am. All for the low low price of $165 per night in their slow season. Damn. read more

I had to book this hotel in an emergency situation...and they were extremely accommodating. I want to thank the reception desk for their help. It put my mind at ease during a stressful time. My son said the room was clean, and they gave him toothbrush (with toothpaste in it...cool) since he had no luggage. read more

Upon arrival, the motel lived up to the Super 8 name. Dated, confused parking, poor service at the counter. The inside had small hallways with furniture place to inhibit exiting. The rooms had dirty carpeting and low budget beds. Lighting in the room was poor and the small refrigerator frozen our food. We were greeted with free popcorn. Not bad for $300+ ! read more

The prices for lodging in Jackson Hole are truly outrageous. Hence staying here. Still extremely overpriced at over $300 a night. The place is filthy, honestly I really had to psych myself up to lay down and relax. Moving forward I will pay the extra $200 a night if indeed I ever venture back to this area to have a nice clean room that doesn't smell like curry. read more

Please avoiding staying at this place!!! The room is filthy as hell. I am not even sure how they are still in business.

Spent one night here last month. They put me on the first floor. Went to the room right after check-in, opened the door and the room smelled of urine. Immediately went to the front desk and asked for a different room. They put me on the third floor (The Penthouse). Unfortunately, no elevator here. The new room smelled fine. As I was unloading the luggage from the car, I realized that the urine smell must have come from outside the building, as the a/c was on in that first room, and as I passed by the exterior of the building to get to my car, I also smelled urine, maybe a big elk relieved itself there earlier in the morning. Anyway, the third room floor was fine. It even had a mini kitchen in it. When we got back late Saturday night, the manager made fresh popcorn for us to midnight snack on. And breakfast Sunday morning was fine. Cold cereal, yogurt, muffins, coffee, juice and an automated silver dollar pancake maker. I'd stay here again if in town. read more

Stay away from this hotel! There is no elevator (we carried luggage up steps to third floor... awful). Disgusting odor smell in room, even though the room is "no smoking". Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. Faucet produced no hot water. Refrigerator and AC motor were terribly loud. For a "continental breakfast", there was no milk, yogurt, cereal?!? No nutritional value in breakfast, yet there is hiking nearby? Floors creaked terribly loud. You my as well pay way cheaper to stay at a hostel, THATS what it felt like! read more

For more than $200, this is what we "enjoyed" at the Super8 in Jackson Hole. Stay elsewhere if possible; these owners/managers clearly don't care to invest much in their guests' experience. -Hair in bathtub, streaks on mirror -3 lightbulbs out in room -Trash/linen containers in main hallway to rooms, laundry/utility room door always open -Hallway carpet dirty and obviously not recently vacuumed -Swimming pool empty, paint peeling, stagnant water in bottom -Furniture and linens old, shabby -Rooms small, bathrooms tiny -Breakfast: no protein choice, not even cereal, orange juice "cocktail" not 100%, no fruit -On breakfast deck dead flowers in planters, the handle to get back in thru the sliding door broken off read more

I booked my reservation here 2 months in advance to complete my "bucket list" for visiting and exploring every waterfall, geyser and wildlife on the south loop one day, and the north loop on the second day. The lower price and location of the hotel was perfect for my needs. This trip was solo, so I didn't need to spend $400-$600 a night since I was gone 75% of the time. My room was on the first floor with a great view of the Tetons in the distance. The welcoming staff were great. A shout out to Max (asst. mgr), Ivan and Victoria behind the desk. When I asked Victoria where I could get a great breakfast. she recommended Bubbas steakhouse 5 min. away. Next morning I arrived at 10a.m. and had THE best breakfast ever. Another perk was the free basic breakfast AND fresh popped popcorn from a carnival type machine every evening. No problem for me to go back in the future read more

The entire interior of building & rooms need updating. Carpeting was old & stained. Air conditioner was barely sufficient to keep our room comfortable. The front desk staff were very pleasant & helpful! Bed was fairly comfortable so these things helped. Price was cheap as compared to other motels in the area which is probably a result of the lack of updating. You get what you pay for. read more

Perfectly fine motel in Jackson. Bit far from downtown so you will have to likely drive for food or groceries, but lots of free parking and reasonable rates. read more

This was by far the worst part of our Jackson experience. The room smelled. Because we stayed for a week we weee responsible for managing our own trash and refreshing towels. Guest services was minimal if at all. The carpet was old and stained and we were given three small pillows on the bed. We would have absolutely changed hotels if that were an option. read more

Older hotel, but clean and great staff! Would recommend

This motel was very dated and worn down. The room smelled like dirty feet. The carpet had stains and was sticky. Staff were nice, but we only stayed one night because of the room smell. It was not worth what they are charging per night. They also charge a "resort fee", they have no amenities that would ask for this. Do not stay here. Better options in town for less per night. read more

This hotel is one of the best kept secrets in Jackson, Wyoming. First off, the hotel is modest in all ways. For example, there is no swimming pool or fitness center. That said, this Super 8 is moderately priced and conveniently located. If you are going to be touring and/or sporting for a while, this is the place for you. Breakfast is very good and easy to access. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. The hotel is exceptionally clean in every aspect and in every crook and nanny. Our hotel room was immaculately cleaned. The service at this hotel is EXCEPTIONAL! Every employee we encountered behaved in a customer-first manner. Max, the manager, models that customer-centered behavior to the ultimate. In one example, he saw me pushing my wife's wheelchair to our room after check-in. Before I knew it, he had delivered our suitcase to the room, saving me a trip back to the check-in counter. When we return to Jackson Hole Wyoming we are definitely going to stay at this hotel. read more

My husband and I spent a night here when doing the Yellowstone route and it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable and they're hot chocolate was fantastic. Furthermore. When we went to leave the next morning, our car wouldn't start and when I went inside to ask for a jump, both employees up front immediately offered to help. They jumped or car and we were on our way. I would recommend this place 10/10 times. read more

I walked into the lobby carrying all my bags, only to be asked by the staff person at the desk if I belonged there, if I had a key. I was then informed there was no elevator, that I had to walk around the building outside, then climb up the stairs carrying all my bags. First I had to wait for my husband so that he wasn't locked out, as we got only one key. Once inside, I raced to open the windows because I couldn't breathe in there. The bed was very comfortable, a plus, but we lost the delicious Thai food we got in Jackson. The fridge in the room did not seem to work properly. The food was not cold and we were afraid to eat anything we put in the fridge. During summer, rooms here reportedly go for over $400 each night. We had a view of the mountains, which was nice, and we appreciated the comfortable bed. The free breakfast was more limited than I had seen in some places, but many people were enjoying it there. read more

The place is clean. Offers washer and drier. My first time staying at a Super 8. A couple of issues, though! It is a three story building with no elevator. 2-story, ok, but three? The WiFi is in and out every time you change apps. For the room price of over $200, you should expect more. We've stayed at run of the mill lodges half the price with better amenities. read more

If you can get over the "rustic log hunting cabin" look - which in Wyoming appears to be mandatory - this place is actually rather nice. Feels somewhat outdated but not run down; things are clean and well-maintained. Rooms are small but not cramped, and come with a mini-fridge/freezer combination as well as an in-room safe. Ah, and don't be too disturbed by the stuffed bear in the lobby, he looks friendly. The lady at the front was very insistent that we could not smoke in our rooms. Okay, we don't smoke, no problem, we say. But if we do smoke, she goes on to tell us, there will be a big fine. Okay, I gotcha, no smoking. Apparently that's a problem here. Room doesn't smell like smoke, though, so their methods must be effective. If I were in the area again I would certainly be willing to stay here. read more

Avoid this place!!! Old and outdated. We were placed on the 3 rd floor and had to drag our luggage up three flights of stairs because there's no elevator. The room smelled bad, the floor was sticky, air conditioner was very loud. The room had old food wrappers on the floor from previous guests. The water in the shower goes from freezing to scalding when the room next door turns on their water. Not a good experience at all for $280 a night!!!! read more

Super 8 by Wyndham Jackson Hole - Trash left in the room - Hotels Near Me - Jackson, Wyoming

Awful place! My room (room 308) reeked of old Chinese food or some type of food! I was tired after traveling all day so I slept with the window wide open. The bathroom mirror has some type of brown paint drops dried on it. It just felt like a dirty, nasty room. The "breakfast" that is included is a joke. some fruit and a bunch of god awful pre-packaged pastries. And some sugar laden cold cereal as well. Even the oatmeal was instant in a package. There is nothing inviting about this hotel. Save you money and stay somewhere nice when you are in Jackson. I will never be back read more

The room was clean, and the staff mostly friendly. There are no stairs, so if you're at all limited physically make sure they know to give you a ground floor room. The rooms have a mini-fridge, take advantage, as the continental breakfast offered is not worth a walk-by. Be careful when making your reservations. We made ours, and upon arrival discovered the rate was less, but because we pre-paid, there was nothing they could do. Overall, if all you need is a clean bed & shower this place will work just fine. read more

This place is disgusting. When you walk on the floors it feels like your going to fall through. The room is so outdated there is an air conditioning unit that makes sounds like I dont know what spewing disgusting stale air . The room stinks of old carpet, dust and the blankets are crusty. Run. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more

My fiancé and i got in a bind with our landlord around the area, and needed a place to stay for a couple nights before we moved into our new place. the man that worked during the day on 11/21 went ABOVE and BEYOND what he needed to do to make us comfortable and safe. not only did he completely have our backs, he helped us troubleshoot a mischarge that happened the night before, no questions asked. during this stressful time he was an extreme relief for us and i cannot be more thankful. i hope that they go over these reviews because he deserves to be rewarded for his hospitality and how he works with the customers. read more

The worst. My sister booked way in advance. No elevator. Requested ground floor due to back injury and open heart surgery. This shit hole didn't reserve the ground floor, put us on the second floor at first with only one queen bed, then put us on third floor so we could get the double we booked. Staircase difficult with conditions. NO Elevator. I'm thinking I should file ADA complaint. Very warm. Front desk not helpful. Beside lamp didn't work. Phone had no cord. Curtains had no sheer liner. Room was dingy and severely outdated. Looked dirty. No pool. Stay away, you've been warned. read more

I didn't know what to expect because the pervious super 8 we stayed at was unbearable. This one is really well maintained and Kevin at the front desk made our check in very pleasant. He accommodated my request for a quiet room and even suggested a great steak house for us to have dinner at. The room has a blow dryer, microwave, two stove burners and a mini fridge. There is also a washer/dryer available for use for some change. The room we got actually has a view of the mountain and the windows in our room actually open! I'm super happy with my experience so far. I would come back to this location. read more

This place is so creepy! Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra to stay some place else. Or sleep in your car. Yes, it was cheap, but you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly, but when we arrived we were given a room on the third floor due to remodeling on the lower levels. We climbed the 3 flights to our room and when we opened the door, the bed was not made nor the bathroom cleaned. So my husband had to go back down and get us a new room. The desk clerk was kind and apologetic, but it was just too weird. The heating/cooling system was noisy and nothing about the place was enjoyable. read more

I used to work at a Super 8, so I am pretty comfortable knowing what to expect when it comes to their hotels. I booked our room in advance because Jackson seems to fill up quickly on the weekends and we didn't want to be stuck without a place to stay. The Super 8 had reasonable rates compared to other Jackson hotels and also had fairly good reviews. We were disappointed when we tried to check-in at three (their designated check-in time) and the room was not ready. We were told no rooms were clean and to come back in an hour or two. We did, and found our room to be clean, but rather lacking. It seemed crowded with junky furniture and the view out the window was of a mini-storage. The room was very muggy and the air conditioner didn't provide much help, just loudly cranking off and on all night long. I don't know if there was an event in town or if I didn't book far enough in advance, but we felt that $240 was rather expensive for a one queen bed room in this quality of hotel. That said, the staff was kind, they serve popcorn and cookies in the evening, and the bed was decent. If you're staying in Jackson on a budget, the Super 8 isn't a bad choice. read more

Just checked in. This placed is old, very outdated and smells disgusting. No elevator. When I found this place online I booked because of Wyndham name. So disappointed! Then they offer you for extra charge breakfast option, which I selected. Then when I arrived I was told I would be getting a bag breakfast due to COVID. Why not state that on website. I surely would not have paid for breakfast. read more
