Came on a Tuesday at noon. It was quite busy, but we were seated immediately. Our server was absolutely amazing! She was very attentive and gave great suggestions on what to order. We went with the Florentine Benedict, Denver Omelette, and the Golden Waffle. Food came out looking amazing, but tasted even better! My Benedict was on point! Our favorite item was the Golden Waffle. It was so crispy yet fluffy and light! Ridiculous how much we enjoyed the waffle. Great food and great service! Coming back regularly! read more

We went on a holiday and this place was BUSY! As a first timer, I had high hopes after seeing the crowds. I was happily pleased with the food and quick service, despite the busyness. They had indoor and outdoor seating, which I love the option of. I'd def come back, the pancakes (not pictured) were amazing! I got the eggs Benedict (pictured) which was delicious! read more

Always amazing food and service! Perfect location to celebrate birthdays - the cinnamon rolls are awesome!

Sunshine Breakfast Bar was a ray of sunshine after a super early morning excursion nearby. My friend and I worked up an appetite and headed over to Sunshine to fuel up for the day. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. We requested outdoor seating, and they happily accommodated. The ambiance was casual and relaxed. Our server was pleasant and helpful. She made great recommendations. My friend and I like to share, so we decided to split the breakfast burrito, lemon ricotta pancake, and avocado toast with two eggs. I also ordered an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon. The spread was more than enough for us to share. In fact, we had leftovers. Everything was fresh and delicious. The burrito was probably my favorite. It was stuffed with two eggs, onions, potatoes, green peppers, cheese, and choice of sausage, bacon, ham, or chorizo wrapped in crispy flour tortillas. Served with homestyle potatoes and choice of red or green salsa or both, so of course we got both. Would consider Sunshine for brunch if I'm in this area again! read more

We have eaten here several times and had good experiences. However, this time we ordered breakfast and it came to our table in bits and pieces. Eggs, then several min later, grits then several min later sausage. My husband was getting frustrated because food was getting cold and toast was delivered 8 min after the rest of the food arrived! When the toast finally arrived he asked that it be taken off the.bill. When the bill came it still had the charge for toast. He asked to see the manager and at that point the manager told him he was banished from the restaurant! We were shocked as the requests we made were valid. The manager said he was rude to the waitress. Which he was not.. Kids these days are way too sensitive... Its all about their "feelings". Buck up buttercups and do your jobs! read more

Management should train their staff to understand their capacity and appropriate wait times. My wife and I arrived at 10:20am and were told the wait for a party of 4 would be 30-40 minutes. After waiting 50 minutes we were told the wait would be an additional 20-35 minutes. 20 minutes later we asked our position and were told there were 10 groups of 4 before us and the wait would be an additional 20-35 minutes. We left after that. It's great that they're busy and the food looked delicious, but the staff ruined any chance of enjoying brunch at that restaurant. Had we been told that the wait would've been over an hour from the beginning we would've been able to make appropriate plans. read more

The service is really good here and those working there genuinely seem to enjoy being there. That said, they are packed from 10-noon on weekends. Don't try to come here with groups of more than 4-5, as it is a small restaurant. The food is very good and worth the wait, but do yourself a favor and get on the wait list before you get your crew over there. Parking can be a challenge but there is a sort of abandoned lot adjacent to their building where people park. read more

I took my mother for breakfast at Sunshine breakfast bar last Thursday. The food was fabulous!! The place is spacious and nicely decorated , open and airy I especially love the light features on the ceiling. Our server Cindy was so accommodating and kind and explaining that all the items there were fresh and made from scratch. Did not disappoint. Julie( manager) came over to check on our table . I had mistakenly ordered the wrong entree for my mother . She had her heart set on pancakes. Cindy and Julie cheerfully made everything good for Mother.(I might add free of charge) Mother raved about the pancakes, she was sold! I later overheard Mother on the phone telling family and friends about the wonderful experience, she had at Sunshine Breakfast Bar. We will be back. Compliments to the chef as well. read more

So I have to give this place 4stars because they take such good care of my parents every time we go. I have never really been that impressed with the breakfast. The chiller Achilles are completely lackluster. No real flavor or anything there. Don't order it. I would get the Greek omelette sometimes, but the omelettes come out a little brown... Not too big of a fan. I will say that there are chicken sandwich on the menu is awesome! My mom is absolutely crazy about their Greek avocado toast . It is a super cute neighborhood spot. And we will still continue to go. I just always find myself expecting more. read more

We just enjoyed another delicious breakfast at the Sunshine Breakfast Bar! Every time we have eaten here, we always comment on how fresh and tasty the food is. And, the service is terrific. From, Julie, the friendly hostess who seated us, to Michelle, our server, and Rachel, who was being trained, the service was wonderful. Each of them was attentive and friendly! We also had a wonderful conversation with the manager, Javier, who was very personable. We wanted to be sure to let him know about the fantastic service and delicious food and he spent time talking with us, which we appreciated! Keep up the GREAT JOB! read more

Everything has been great on my visits here, favorite is the avacado toast and the pan fried potatoes, most everything, but yesterday I got a Caesar salad. Caesar is strictly Romaine, Parmesan and croutons. They used ice berg lettuce and a very salty, salty dressing. Don't get that. read more

Very good breakfast and great service. Bennie's and coffee are my favorite.....Highly recommend!

Lovely breakfast place that our kids recommended on the way to Sedona from Phoenix area. Nice pet friendly place with a nice patio with heaters for those chilly mornings. The food was great. I recommend using the app to book reservation so you can park which is packed, and arrive and just be next in line. Once seated the service is great. I have been there twice so far. The first time we got on the list after parking and had to wait 30 minutes in the car. The second time we joined the list while we were still at home. It took a little over 40 minutes that day, but we had plenty of time to get there and find parking. read more

Stopped here for breakfast right after our flight had arrived in PHX on a Friday morning. We felt very welcomed coming in and got seated and seen right away. I went with the Avocado Toast and my husband and I shared a short stack of their famous Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed by both of these dishes. The Avocado Toast had more greens than avocado and the drizzle on the pancakes was too sweet for me. However, the pancake itself without the dressing was perfect! Maybe I shoukdve gone with a different main dish than the avocado toast but you live and you learn! It wasn't terrible, but it's definitely not the star of the menu. Would still come back though! I would want to try different options from their menu and bring my dog since they have a patio that's dog friendly! read more

My wife and I visit Phoenix several times a year, for two reasons: to visit our great friends and to have breakfast at Sunshine Breakfast Bar. On our first visit to SBB, I fell in love with their pancakes, which are not as much unusual for their variety as they are distinctive for their taste. I am pretty sure it's because they use sweet cream in the batter, which gives the pancakes a subtle sweetness and great texture. On that first visit, my wife ordered an omelette, which came with home style potatoes. The omelette looked very good, but the potatoes looked amazing! I had to try them. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect! By the way, our server was wonderful! So friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit so much that we came back the next day. I ordered an omelette so I could get those amazing potatoes. They were cooked perfectly again. Recently, I decided to go on a gluten-free diet. So, I was disappointed that I would not be able to have those sweet cream pancakes. We went to SBB anyway, for the potatoes. While there, I noticed they had gluten-free pancakes. Could they possibly be nearly as special as the regular ones? I had to find out. But, I also needed my favorite home style potatoes. What to do.... Only one solution - to order an omelette, which comes with potatoes, and a side order of gluten-free pancakes. The pancakes were great - for being gluten free. Not quite as good as their regular pancakes, but among the best gluten-free pancakes I have ever had. And, the potatoes were awesome, as usual (great Denver omelette, also). In my defense, I did not finish the omelette, pancakes and potatoes. Their portions are big, and I have plenty of leftovers for breakfast this morning. All the staff at Sunshine Breakfast Bar have been very friendly. Our server, Eric, was no exception. He was new, and was a little slow on the hand-held ordering device. But he certainly made up for it with his personality and attentiveness. Great friends and a great place for breakfast - that's why my wife and I visit Phoenix so often. If you want a great breakfast, go to Sunshine Bakery Bar. As for great friends - you'll have to find your own! read more

Basic breakfast food that's overpriced. I was charged $8 for them to put some cold brew in a glass and add vanilla syrup. Their margins are a rip off of their fellow Americans, like most businesses nowadays it's all about maximizing profit without increasing the value. Everyone's trying to build an empire instead of just having a nice friendly reasonably priced breakfast spot for your friends and neighbors to come eat at. It reveals the true character behind the business. read more

Great food, great folks, great atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. Aside from flies...not sure why so many...

This is a great breakfast place. I really love their Parfait or French toast. There mimosas flights are full sized for a great price. Dragon fruit probably my favorite. The ambiance is cute but very tight squeeze. It's a very long wait time during the weekend. Service is a hit and miss. The 5 times I've been 3 great experiences and the other 2 not so much. read more

I hesitated to say much the lines are long enough. Sometimes you want some to make you breakfast while catching up with a loved one.

Ordered to go on New Year's Day hoping for a great breakfast at the park with my family. The eggs were so oily, the potatoes were mush, they didn't give us our sourdough bread but included the butter... the pork links tasted off. Could barely get through a few bites... don't know how this place has so many reviews. read more

**CORRECTION** As Tanya stated in her comment it is chicken fried STEAK. Well the chicken fried STEAK, was so tough I couldn't cut through it with the knife they provided. When I requested a new one, the replacement was brought out in less than 3 mins. It was equally as tough and room temperature gravy. read more

Great food and service although at times there is a wait due to their popularity. The lemon ricotta pancakes are to die for.

Place was clean, bright and open. Staff super friendly. Ordered Florentine Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, side of classic pancakes. It was all really good, except the eggs benedict I don't know if it was the seasoning or the English muffin but something within them had an off putting taste, wouldn't order them again but since it was a cool little spot would definitely go back and try something different. read more

The food and service were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. They make awesome bacon!

Very very very disappointed in the establishment . I put my party on the waiting list because I know how busy they are . When I arrive and show my reservation the young lady states she see my reservation but it's not in her system but she could put me in there were approx 60 other people outside waiting and they expected me to wait for everyone else to be seated . I spoke with the manager and he told me the place is really busy , I said I know I frequent the place and that's the reason I was on the waitinglist he came with the unfortunately I'd have to wait an I was-not okay with that and I excused myself from the establishment . My reservation was for 10:30 am the day before Mothers Day I had visitors from another state here and wanted them to enjoy the vibe I was use to and I didn't get that and wound up having to go to get fast food or chained food I am so very DISAPPOINTED!!!! 0stars given Rochelle New PS I don't want to give any stars read more
