We didn't want heavily ornate doors or the type that look very obviously like security doors. We were looking for something simple, yet secure that allowed for optimal airflow. Alberto knew exactly what we were looking for and thoroughly explained the superior security, design and construction of the doors he recommended. He carefully measured and took notes and answered all of our questions and concerns. He thoroughly went over the various color and hardware options and was courteous, respectful and efficient throughout the entire process. Alberto provided us with pricing information, which we found to be reasonable and fair. We placed the order and a few weeks later had an appointment for installation of our new doors. As with our initial appointment, Alberto showed up on time for the installation and promptly got to work installing our new doors. He made sure we knew exactly how the triple lock system worked and went over everything a few times to ensure that we were comfortable with it. The installation process went smoothly and when he was finished Alberto carefully cleaned up the entire work area, again inquiring if we had any questions or concerns. On March 25, 2026, Screenworks installed a retractable screen at my home. Within just a few days,…read morethe screen came off its track and would not operate properly. I contacted the company on March 30, 2026, and the owner ALBERTO CASTILLO came out to repair it. During that visit, he repeatedly claimed that someone must have run into the screen. This is completely untrue. The screen simply came off the track on its own, which I believe indicates poor workmanship or an improper installation. As of today, the screen has once again come off the track and no longer opens or closes properly. I contacted Screenworks a second time to request that they honor their work and repair the installation. Instead of standing behind the work Albert performed, t informed me that I would have to pay a service-call fee. He then referred me to a third-party company to repair the screen. I do not believe this is fair or acceptable. The issue appears to be related to the original installation, and I should not be charged additional fees to correct defective workmanship. The installer should stand behind the quality of the work and make the necessary repairs without charging me.
