Our experience with The Shutter Guys was one of the best experiences we've ever had with a service vender/installer. From the first meeting, measuring and estimate which was done without pressure to purchase to today's installation things were done without pressure total professionalism. When we contacted them, Dave was quick to respond and set up the appointment for an estimate. The day of the scheduled estimate he kept us updated to his arrival and came as scheduled. He explained the process and the various products we could choose from. He had samples for us an explained what options might work best considering our weather conditions etc. He presented us an estimate with no pressure for what we chose. The choice was simple and we signed the contract. He made us aware of the timeline etc which was not as issue. As per Dave's meeting and contract we were contacted about a week before installation and asked if a given day would fit our schedule. The day before the scheduled installation we were texted a reminder. The morning of the installation we were called about 30 minutes before the scheduled time of arrival. They arrived right on time. Wade and his guys (Edgar and Sean) went right to work. They were professional and extremely courteous as well as personable. They wore "booties" and had no problem with our friendly dogs. When they were finished the only thing we had remaining was BEAUTIFUL PLANTATION SHUTTERS!!! I would recommend The Shutter Guys without hesitation and will be doing so to all of our neighbors and community. Thanks to Dave, Wade, Edgar and Sean for a seamless experience. read more

Excellent service from start to finish! The two installers were fantastic. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were incredibly polite and professional, and worked very cleanly. They also did an excellent job cleaning everything up before they left. Most importantly, my shutters look beautiful! I'm extremely happy with the quality of the installation and the overall experience. Highly recommend! read more

I recently reached out to The Shutter Guys to look into some options for shades for our townhome. Wade got back to me quickly and worked with me to schedule a consultation. He came by a few days later, showed me some options, and got me a quote within a day. The pricing was reasonable and I appreciated the good communication so we decided to proceed. We scheduled an install day and time. Edgar, showed up on time, took down all my old blinds, and installed the new shades in exactly an hour, which was the time estimate I was given. Overall I am very happy with The Shutter Guys communication and efficiency. They made the process really easy and the new shades have been great! read more

I had Norman blinds with them and they are good Quality Would recommend them for blinds and shutters read more

When searching for window covering solutions, we requested quotes from several companies. Dave Shannon from the Shutter Guys gave us an in-home consultation where he showed us a variety of options and helped us in choosing the best to meet our needs and wants. We ultimately decided on Norman SmartDrapes for two sliding glass doors, along with a Norman composite plantation shutter for a small window. From start to finish, the customer service was excellent and very attentive. We absolutely love both the drapes and the shutter--the quality, look, and functionality exceeded our expectations and completely elevated the space. A special thank you to Edgar and Sean for their outstanding installation work. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience and highly recommend the Shutter Guys! read more

Would recommend them in a heartbeat. Very professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. I had them install shutters in my house twice and both of the times it was an amazing experience. I rarely review business's but The Shutter guys deserve 5 stars! Wade was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and the pricing really can't be matched. We got quotes from several other companies and these were by far the best price! We opted to get hardwood shutters and honey comb shades for added privacy. I was extremely impressed with Edgar and Sean when they came to install, they were very respectful of my house and very polite. I was working from home during the time of the install and they really took that into consideration. This is a good , honest, company that deserves your business ( and cares about the customer experience ) and I would highly recommend them. read more

Where do I start? Estimates and installation were done precisely on time. All of the team was friendly and professional. The product they delivered was perfect. It is no wonder the % of "5 star" reviews is so high. If you decide to waste your time checking with other vendors, you will discover these are the guys to use. read more

So helpful and great communication skills. Wade is so knowledgeable of the products he sells and had great recommendations. We are very happy excited to have them installed. Had one other bid and The Shutter Guys came in a little over HALF the price! AND we are getting an extra window with a shutter instead of blind + an additional motorized blind!!! read more

From the first season of the original Queer Eye (thanks to Thom Filicia) I learned that the biggest pieces of art you have in your home - are actually your windows. They need to be clean, well-dressed and whatever is beyond them should look neat. For Chun P and my first home together, I knew I wanted shutters. When we moved in, two rooms had sheer cellular shades that were very dirty with mystery stains, and one set of aging vinyl blinds that you couldn't raise/lower was left in a window in the living room. The rest of the windows had nothing. We're blessed with very large windows downstairs and I wanted shutters with outside mount frame, very large louvers (we're talking 4.5 inches folks) and invisible split tilt so we could still maximize the sunshine. For the initial consultation, Dave arrived at our home and was really friendly - we talked options and he measured our windows. Dave is really personable and we enjoyed our chat! We placed our order and paid the deposit the next day, May 15. Dave gave us a generous discount for ordering 8 or more shutters (we ordered them for every room!). Dave had warned us that due to shipping delays - it would be a long stretch till our shutters arrived. In the interim I had put up a pressure rod with a curtain in the living room, large pieces of cardboard for the back bedroom and some of those crappy paper curtains that always fall down. Half the time Chun P forgot about them - and we liked to joke our neighbors were treated to the 'Chun P show' nightly, as he'd forget to put up the temporary blinds and would often be practicing his dance moves shirtless in the living room. About a week ago our shutters arrived, and Wade reached out to schedule install. I was out of town on a business trip, so Chun P welcomed the install crew. He said they were friendly, kept the house spotless and the shutters were installed in no time. They were also extra careful when installing the shutters right next to our 60 gal fish tank with Puff watching their every move. When I arrived home for my trip I nearly swooned! They look gorgeous but also really help to cut down the sound outside and also keep the place much cooler. I wholeheartedly recommend Dave and his team. If you order, just be patient - shipping takes time! Good things come to those who wait! Ps - While the 'Chun P Show' has come to a close for our neighborhood peeping toms and tomettes, rest assured he's still dancing it up behind those shutters - when he remembers to close them. ;) read more

Hi. Repeat customer here! I highly recommend The Shutter Guys. From scheduling the estimate/ measure with Wade...or was it Dave? Bottom line, both great guys, along with the installation team comprised of Carlo and Edgar. The process, service, price, quality and outcome are 5-Star all-the-way. As noted above, we are repeat customers and now have high-quality beautiful shutters throughout the home. The installation by Carlo & Edgar was just as quick and clean as the first time we did business. They were very respectful of our property and were very efficient, courteous and professional. The Shutter Guys were fantastic to work with throughout the process. Wade was quick to respond when I first contacted him and we were done with our project one month later! He was communicative and on-time both times that he came to our home. He and Michael installed our blinds very quickly and made sure to vacuum and clean up afterwards. You could just tell that Wade is running an honest and great business - and he has installers that have been with the company for 5-10 years, which says a lot about how they care for their employees and the type of business they're running. We will always use them for our blinds and shutters going forward! read more

No need to shop anywhere else for shutters. If you want quality and value these are the guys. I had them install Plantation Shutters in my last home 15 years ago. The Shutters were still magnificent 15 years later and increased the resale value. Bought a new home and never questioned who would install new shutters. Dave, Wade & Edgar are all amazing but more importantly the Shutters are the envy of the neighborhood. Fair price, best quality, Royal service. I will never use anyone else. First of all I am impressed with the customer service of the owner, Dave.He came personally and gave me a quote upfront. Even without making the decision of getting this company for their service- he already offered to provide a temporary cover/paper blinds on our windows. Right then and there, I already know that he is an exceptional employer. The quote that was given to me was not the cheapest out of the many quotes that I received but I decided to go with them because Dave took time to explain and compared the different options for my window treatment and extra tips. He was also honest that it will take 3 months or after the holiday before they can install (contract signed end of September). So expect for the long wait because all of the shutters are customized based on the size and number of windows/doors (project). Fast forward installation day, Edgar and Michael are both young, well-trained, and very professional. Both very respectful. Just like Dave- they took time to explain the features and tips on how to maintain our beautiful shutters. I can't thank you enough @shutterguys for making our house look amazing. The quality of the shutters have added value to our home. read more

The Shutter Guys were awesome from start to finish. Wade did our consultation and was efficient with taking all measurements and answering all of our questions. No pressure from him whatsoever. His quote was comparable to another company we looked at, but we chose The Shutter Guys because of Wade's stellar communication and the product they carry. We ordered 21 roller shades and three weeks later, Carlo and Edgar came to do the install. They were quick and professional and took only about 2 hours to get them all in. The shades are beautiful and the house no longer feels bare. Their communication throughout the entire process was on point. 10/10 would recommend The Shutter Guys! read more

Dave is the best! He is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and not pushy for a sale. We wanted shutters for the whole house but took his advice on alternatives for the kitchen window and sliding glass doors. So grateful we did! The two guys that came for the installation were just as good. Though shutters are pricey, we feel that the quote was fair and the quality was worth it. Much appreciated Dave!! Will use them again and recommend to all our neighbors. Also, our new home didn't have any window treatments and Dave gave us FREE temporary blinds without even committing to a sale! Thank you!! read more

I have used The Shutter Guys several times in the last 8 years and have always been pleased with their communication and service! Both Dave and Wade are personable and helpful, providing me with good recommendations on window coverings. I like how they don't try to sell me the most expensive products but show what's available and what would look best in my home. Most recently, I showed Wade 3 old blinds and shades in various rooms. One was definitely broken, so I bought new blinds from The Shutter Guys. The other 2 shades Wade suggested just keeping as is because it would add quite a bit to the cost. Most companies try to convince customers to change as many window coverings as possible, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear Wade say to wait until the 2 shades broke. The installers also do a great job! They take away the old blinds/shades, and everyone from The Shutters Guys wears shoe covers in the house. One time when a shade under warranty broke, the company gave me options: have someone come to uninstall it, OR drop it off at their storage unit in Escondido for free. Since I was already going to Escondido that weekend, I opted for the latter. I was supposed to pay for having the item shipped back to me after the repair, but the company sent me the fixed shade free of charge! (Note: The reason it broke was not The Shutter Guys' fault.) I recommend this company highly!! read more

This email was sent to the management team. We just wanted to say thank you for sending Edgar to do our installation. He did an outstanding job; he was very professional and explained everything he was doing and how we should maintain and care for our shutters in the future. We will be very happy to send The Shutter Guys referrals any time opportunities come up. End. Unfortunately, one of the panels was damaged in shipping. The Shutter Guys arraigned for a replacement within 30 days and Wade personally came out and professionally installed it at no-charge. We can't say enough about the product quality, wonderful service and the very competitive pricing. Ed T. read more

I had Wade and the team at Shutter Guys come in and add shutters to my home 4 years ago. Everything was completed on time and without any concerns or problems. I have recommended them to my family and neighbors several time for their outstanding customer service. Fast forward and we have a new puppy who loved the shutters as much as we do. He decided to eat a few panes in show of his approval. I had 1 panel not working due to us not opening properly over the years. Wade asked for a photo so he would know which one to take care of. He caught in the picture the chewed up vanes caused by our pup and told me he would also take care of that on the service!
