Upscale spot for great water views and top notch cocktails, Sunset Pier is the place to be when the sun goes down. They do a great job of creating an atmosphere that brings in feelings of Southern California and makes you forget for a moment that you are in Quincy. Love the orange theme they had in all the decor and uniform to match the sunset theme. That said you'll find the drinks and food on the pricey side to match the experience you are getting. I did enjoy their non alcoholic low tide mocktail - one of the better mocktails I've had in awhile. Service is top notch. Our toddler was cold and they brought over a cozy blanket for him. All tables had a view of the water and when it is nice out, there is no better spot to be. It was a bit busy on a Friday night but we were able to get a reservation for 5. Worth a visit when the weather is great!

Met up with my high school classmate and her family for dinner. We chose your restaurant because of the view and sunset. Food was on spot but service could have been better. We had to ask a few times to bring plates/silverware/drinks. Not a big issue but something to work on for future. Your staff member, Mack, came out of nowhere and put smiles on our faces. He made sure we all had our correct orders and kept asking us if we needed anything more. We even had him in our group photo.

Thanks to the "Shareable's" option, we were able to try out the four more interesting dishes. Mrs. Horne voted for the Lettuce Wraps and since the plate offered three, we each had one. We've been eating lettuce wraps for decades and no two restaurants make them the same. At Sunset Pier, they are light and fresh. There is a hint of curry and crispy garlic. It's all served on a perfect leave of Bibb lettuce. We first discovered blue cheese and steak pizza at The Mohegan on Block Island a few weeks ago so when we spotted the Black and Bleu we put in an order. You must visit Sunset Pier to try this dish alone. It's an artfully crafted flavor bomb with a perfect French Bread Pizza crust. There are cheeses at play here beyond the Blue. Likely mozzarella for texture and a hint of Asiago or Parmesan. There are no French Fries at Sunset Pier, but that's fine; instead, they offer an obscenely good smashed potato dish. This is one of the best ways to elevate the simple potato. The Harissa remoulade has a bit of a kick, but less than sriracha. Our fourth dish was also a no-brainer - lamb chops. If you were looking for a full dinner at Sunset Pier, you could certainly go to the lollipops and share an order of the potatoes. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better meal at a four-star restaurant. Every bite of every dish was mouthwatering and memorable.

Came on a Saturday around 3p so not busy at all. We were sat outside but not asked if we wanted to be seated outside so it got very hot very quickly. The menu is a bit lackluster with not much variety. It'd incredibly overpriced for the amount of food you get. Tacos and baguettes do not come with any sides. $15-17 dollars for two small tacos is outrageous. They are also covered in cilantro which is not listed anywhere on the menu. $17-20 for essentially a small flatbread is also way overpriced. No sandwich or burger type options, your only handheld is a wrap with chips for minimum $18 if you want any protein in it. The service was very slow, my husband got his second beer after all the plates had been cleared. The waitress messed up the bill when split for who was paying for what even though we pointed and made it pretty clear what belonged to who. They made it difficult for themselves with however it was rung up in their system by not being able to split the tacos. Next door was much busier and I think I understand why. The view is nice with the marina but I wouldn't come back here.

Food is mid but it's a really pretty restaurant. The 6 tacos deal is best bang for buck. Cuke drink is okay.

Great location, over priced.. order a pizza, get a glorified breadstick with some toppings. Better off elsewhere on the boardwalk

We also ordered the tomato pie with custom toppings, but the hot honey was a stand out topping and I would highly recommend it. If the pizza looks greasy... it is NOT! We've been here 3 times now and have had the chance to try a bunch of different dishes and we haven't been disappointed yet! Here are the things we've tried so far (as of 2/2026). The Tre - $16.50 (for 3): This without a doubt is one of the best values you can have here! We've tried and recommend the following: - Fried Mozzarella - Nicely seasoned and great flavor. A bit heavy (obviously!). - Crispy Calamari - Also well seasoned and the Calabrian aioli pairs perfectly. - Italian Wings - Juicy and tender! The ranch sauce is also quite good. - Meatballs - Tender, flavorful and not too dense! Caesar Salad - $13.25 - Great price for the amount you get. Their dressing is also made in house and can actually be quite strong, flavor wise. We've found it best to have it on the side and add it ourselves. The first time we had it, it was a perfect amount but the 2nd time it was a bit overpowering when they over dressed it. Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce Pie - $16.50 (small) - Their pizzas here are phenomenal. The charcoal oven is really what makes a huge difference as the flavor it imparts onto the dough is superb. New Haven Original Clam - $21.50 (small) - Great pizza with ample amounts of clams. Would also recommend. Calabrian Stinger - $22.50 (small) - This pizza is quite saucy and very atypical when it comes to a pizza. HOWEVER, the flavor is stupendous with the hot peppers and hot honey. Would definitely recommend but be warned that it's a bit droopy from all the topics and sauce. Rigatoni Vodka - $23 - Great flavor in the sauce. Huge fan of it and would recommend. Do note that we were able to sub our pasta from rigatoni to fettuccini (from the Tagliatelle Bolognese). Speaking of which... Tagliatelle Bolognese - $24 - Great ragu sauce and not too heavy! Very fresh. Sally's Burger - $17 - Good burger but nothing that special. Price is great though. Vodka Parm - $17 - Again, the value is unbeatable and you get a ton of fries with the dish. It's basically a pizza folded in half with crispy chicken, mozzarella and their fantastic vodka sauce. You won't be left hungry if you can finish this! Overall, this is our go to when a pizza craving hits. The vibe here is also great with high ceilings and attentive wait staff. Would 100% recommend.

Formerly known as The Townshend, this Quincy local restaurant is the best place for exceptional service, fantastic food, creative cocktails and am Ambiance that will sure impress any date. This might be my 3rd or 5th review because why not! When you find a place that you love you brag about it. For starters we shared their fried pickles with their homemade ranch dressing. We also love their stuffed dates. For entrees, I had their Salmon which is always cooked to perfection. My husband's had their Steak Frites which he enjoyed very much. Dessert is always a tough choice since all of them are excellent but this time we went with their brownie sundae. After plenty of glasses of wine and some dirty martinis let's just say we didn't want to leave but it was getting late. If you have never been to Dotty's or their other restaurants I highly recommend checking them out! Cheers

Dotty's is hard to find from the street as it's tucked into a corner. You have to pass five guys to get there but it's totally worth it. Can't say enough good things about Dotty's. We'll be coming back!

The seating is close enough to feel intimate whether you're on a date or with a small group, but the music is dialed in just right -- loud enough for atmosphere, quiet enough to still have a conversation without overhearing the tables next to you. The cocktails are outstanding. What really stands out is how creative they are -- unique flavor combinations that feel thoughtful and well-balanced. If you're someone who actually appreciates craft cocktails (and not just ordering a Jack and Coke), this place will absolutely hit.
