I don't think it's a thing, maybe we got lucky. But Monday Night Karaoke is a thing here. Here was…read moreour experience on around 9pm. AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking. It can be pretty tough finding something so good luck. Seating: It's 3 floors of vibes (depending on the day) but this is no hidden gem, if you're looking for a local vibe, check this place out. Vibes: The nice touristy side of Boston, walking distance to a few scenic things. As for the spot, think Irish bar meets full-on nightlife energy. One floor might have karaoke, another has DJs, and another is just people vibing with drinks. It's lively, a little chaotic (in a fun way), and definitely a younger crowd energy. FOOD/DRINKS: Drinks are solid and pretty affordable for Boston, which is always a win. They've got everything from beers and seltzers to margaritas and cocktails. This isn't a craft cocktail lounge--it's more of a "grab a drink and keep the night going" type of place. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! I needed water and they provided it, no problem! TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. I didn't expect to have so much fun on a Monday night (the singing, the crowd participation, the dancing). What. A. Vibe. Maybe I got lucky but I hope you get this experience when you stop by.Fun, high-energy, and perfect for a night out with friends. Not the place for a quiet drink--but if you're trying to turn up a little and keep things moving, this is a solid stop in Boston. TIPS: *They seem to have something going on every night so check their website!

While in Boston, you have to visit the Green Dragon Tavern. After all, this is where the Sons of…read moreLiberty secretly planned the Boston Tea Party and was the Headquarters of the Revolution 250 years ago. Most of their menu plays off of their historic connection. Their Beantown burgers are all named after a historical figure: Paul Revere, Ben Franklin, John Hancock, etc. Their cocktail drinks are also revolutionary themed: Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere's ride. To drink, I got the Boston Tea Party and my friend enjoyed the Dragon Seasonal beer, and we got the chowder fries to share. My cocktail was refreshing and the fries were different. Not bad, but it wouldn't be my first choice of appetizer to get in the future. But it was good to try. When in Boston...! I thought it would be mainly tourists stopping in, but there were some locals who came for drinks and dinner too. So much history behind these walls. The ambiance here is quiet and low key and the bartenders were friendly and cheerful.

Amazing Clam Chowder!!! The absolute best we found in Boston!!…read more Came in for dinner with our in-laws. Traditional Irish Pub type spot. Lots of cool american history regarding this bar -- but I was a little disappointed the server didn't elaborate or talk about it at all! When I tried asking her about it a bit, she seemed almost annoyed so I dropped it. So instead we googled it's history while waiting for our food. It was my first time visiting Boston, so I was trying the clam chowder everywhere we went and I absolutely loved theirs! It was creamy and more on the chunky side (I'm not a thin chowder kind of girl). Definitely will return one day just for that...but also the fish and chips were great too. Service was slow and a bit lacking..restaurant was about half full but perhaps they were short on staff... Took a long while for drink refills and food to come out. Server was not conversational/friendly at all...otherwise, we really enjoyed the food!
