Fried cauliflower sesame and our mocktails!
    S H.

This is a great place with a great view! We went on a working day for lunch so there was no crowd, just a few people at the bar. It was 60 F outside but still felt a little chilly, so there was no one sitting outside on the patio, but we decided to sit outside and it had a great view of the harbor and the Boston skyline - so you can totally be in Quincy with a view and don't have to travel all the way to Seaport for a nice lunch with harbor view! The food was great, we ordered baked haddock with shrimp platter, we asked them to skip on the "brandy cream" (since it has brandy as the name indicates) and also ordered the fried haddock burger except I asked them to put baked haddock in my burger (healthier lol). The platter was delicious, my baked haddock was a little bland though. Our server was amazing, she respected our food restrictions, was funny, and made amazing mock-tails!! We enjoyed the experience!

Had the BEST salad here recently, which honestly I was not expecting... The chop chop salad was exceptional; generous portion of steak cooked to a perfect medium-rare with crumbles of blue cheese and a fantastic dressing that all just melted in your mouth and created a wonderful flavor. I'm giving this salad alone 5 stars as I thought it was that good - I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The restaurant is in a great location in Marina Bay with views of the water. The staff is friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. Parking can be confusing, just make sure you read the signs. The burger is a great price and it came with a healthy amount of toppings. The burger is juicy and cooked how I liked it. I also liked how thick and crispy the fries were. I would definitely come back.

We ordered a French onion soup and a port 305 burger. The burger was topped with bacon and onion jam, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, chipotle mayo. The French onion soup was good. I also enjoyed the burger and the toppings. There was a good balance of fat and fresh veggies. I really enjoyed the fries.

When I go to Marina Bay this is the stop I make. The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly and efficient. I never really get the same meal twice because the menus change with the seasons so it makes it interesting. Also you can't beat view from the bar or the front outside dining area. So if you like going out to dinner and enjoying yourself on a sunny afternoon stop into Port 305 have a drink some food and relax.

1 star only cause I can't give it a 0. This is located right by the water on the Marina so it's pretty touristy and expensive. Ordered calamari, brunch special the hangover heaven, and the mac n cheese. Everything was an utter disappointment and everything had zero flavor. A simple salt and pepper could've elevated each dish. Calamari: a good portion and it looked really good but my goodness... barely fried like barely. It was definitely on borderline soggy. The batter wouldn't even stay on the calamari, there was no taste like even a little salt would've been nice in the batter. Each bite, the fried batter kept falling off and the squid itself was so chewy. It came with marinara which was canned and the aioli was ok. Mac n cheese: it just didn't work. The cheese didn't pair well and again, lack of flavor. Salt and pepper or anything. It was so bland and one-dimensional The hangover heaven: basically crushed potatoes with a few pieces of pulled pork, and an egg on top. The sauce on the pull pork was basically bottled. Crushed potatoes weren't even done or even fried. Could tell it was low effort Service was not good... didn't have a waiter for like 30-45 minutes and had to always get some other waiters attention. Lastly, this place automatically adds 18% gratuity on all parties which I don't think is deserving give food and lack of service

So much fun! Look at those windows!

We just had my sister's bridal shower upstairs at Port 305. We planned it almost a year in advance because we didn't want any issues if Covid interfered. It was seamless! From the initial inquiry to the day of the event, the employees were fantastic. We did the buffet and it was incredibly reasonable. The food is still being talked about- especially the chowder! We had just over 50 people and the space was perfect, the view was beautiful. The servers, including bartender were absolutely lovely. Parking available during off season (not summer) which is helpful. I would have another function there without question! So thankful for their help in making the day special for my sister!

Fish tacos and Sweet Potato Fries

Great spot to sit outside in marina bay during the summer months for some fish tacos and fries. You can get any side which is nice with the tacos. We all ordered different tacos chicken, fish, and shrimp. Would go back. Reasonable prices for the portions.

I had my daughters bridal shower upstairs at Port 305. The view was beautiful even with the rain. The employees from the bartender, servers, and event coordinator were all amazing and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious everyone commented on how good it was. I would definitely book another event here and recommend it to others.

We were seated right away at a table in the middle of the floor. Told that was best that could be done. Like eating in an aisle. After a few minutes we were asked if we wanted still water or not. Still, we said. Then if we wanted drinks, told her water would be fine. Service started to decline from there. Also no condiments come to the table, but water. We ordered bread and butter and a spice bag, but vegetarian. No bread today ran out. And no plans to bake anymore. We wait close to 25 minutes for our appetizers. Spice bag arrives and I had read rave reviews about this. Open it and its filled with chicken and french fries. Server grabbed it and told us, kitchen error. They would make another, be there in a minute or two. I asked would this show up with our entrees. No, be spaced apart. We waited over 15 minutes, it arrived. Was supposed to have cauliflower, peppers, onions and french fries. There was three pieces of cauliflower and no peppers or onions. What was there was tasty and well spiced. And as soon as we opened the bag and started eating, entrees show up. Fish and chips portions are huge and very nicely fried. Excellent crisp and fantastic steak fries. The Pizza #1, excellent tomatoed base and the crust had a good chew to it. I ordered the Beyond meat lasagna. Huge portion with a green salad and cole slaw. Cole slaw was creamy and very nice. Green salad was fresh but drenched in dressing. My fault should have asked for it on the side. The lasagna was disappointing. No seasoning, no garlic or onions or oregano. It was, I think a British version of lasagna. Ate about half could not eat more. No desserts, but drinks, tea and hot chocolate. Or I did not see it. Server apologized for the timing of the meals, the error with the Spice Bag and the lack of bread. She was sweet. Lots of sports being broadcasted, and a huge long bar. I would come for beer and soccer or football. If I wanted Irish bar food I'd be better going to the Burren. And parking is a challenge. They have a very small lot, we got lucky and found a spot. Hard pass on McGonagle's.

What we got: - Gnocco fritto - Bruschetta - Arancini - Orecchiette - Bolognese - Sausage and lentils - Chicken parm - Skillet chicken - Radicchio salad We had high hopes, but besides the apps, everything was disappointing. How can you call yourself an Italian restaurant but not cook pasta correctly? The pasta for the Orecchiette, Chicken Parm, and Bolognese were all VERY overcooked. The pasta for the Bolognese was basically mush. We actually sent that dish back and came back just as overcooked. They need to figure out how to cook pasta. Service was also bad. Our apps and mains came out at different times. Water glasses went unfilled, and I had to go find salt and pepper on my own. Also, there were two employees, maybe a manager and kitchen staff, who were sitting at a table next to us doing event planning while talking on the phone on speakerphone. It really ruined the vibe. Slim chance we will go back. Very disappointing.

The fish was tender and flakey and the breading was a proper batter that added a nice crunch. The portion was quite large, and I was a big fan of the spiced curry sauce that came with the dish. My wife had the sausage roll which had a nice flakey pastry crust to it. The menu had quite the variety of Irish dishes, and I can't wait to come back to try more of them. It's nice to finally have a higher end and more modern Irish restaurant that I'm certain will become a neighborhood staple.
