Walked in, all smiles and was immediately greeted by a staff member and asked what service I wanted. I let them know I called in an 11am pedicure yesterday. They had me sitting in the pedicure chair in less than 2 minutes of walking in. My nail tech was Lee, she was very sweet although she didn't speak much English. She did a pretty good job on my toes. lol, I always get black cause it's easy hehe. Overall great experience. Prices are reasonable and it's like a block away from my new apartment so I WILL be back. Thanks you guys!!

Loved my pedicure by Lin and if you want a nail tech to yell at you in front of the whole salon when you explain you are not happy with how she did your nails, then definitely go here! I didn't leave with what I wanted and my nails look horrible! I also have several sore cuticles with cuts. Jen was RUDE and only got nice at the end . SO unprofessional! Wont be going back!

Yup one broke off a day after and another one is going to fall off soon. I would recommend getting a normal manicure or pedicure here. The staff is still amazing. Looking at others reviews, it could've just been an off day with my nails. I do appreciate how fast they got me in.

Came here last minute since it was the closest to me, and I needed to get my nails done before my wedding. They were able to take me right away with no appointment. Very friendly staff! The lady doing my nails wished me well on my wedding day, and threw in a cute flower design on my toes for free! So sweet! Will be coming back here for my nail needs !

Paid $80 for a dip manicure and regular pedicure , the pedicure was good. Very thorough and took her time. Manicure was awful. Person rushed through, was annoyed when I asked for corrections. Did not soak my nails, cuticles, no hand or arm massage. Didn't even clean up the nails after and told me I could wash my hands if I want and left me with colored powder all over my hands. Then has the nerve to say "cash tip is better"!!!! read more

I came in yesterday and my gel nails immediately started to chip this morning. It's unfortunate since I felt the person doing my nails was so lovely and gentle. Not sure if it's the technique or the product. Either way I'm very disappointed with the result since it was $40 (not including tip) for one day of wear. read more

Ling did a superb job on my toe nails as she has done the the past 16 years. Too bad I can't say the same for the Dip that was done on my wife's fingernails. Within 5 days half her nails split, broke, and came off. Even when she has had Gel done they never last past 7 days. Friendly group of women and men. read more

Let me just say that the massage was amazing! He did such a great job, 5 minutes on each leg/foot EASILY! I just went in this morning & i was impressed with football being on, hopefully next time i can come for some pro football & not college lol. Overall, he did what i asked, i wanted square & shorter and didnt go too hard with the callus file. I see a few spots where its alittle bubbled & really hope it doesnt peel since the drill bit was never used for a GEL pedi. I will mos def come see him again, even just for the massage! read more

I highly recommend for the head/woman tech to take a vacation. She does not deserve a job. This is now the second time I have been disrespected. I only came back because my family was in town and my new place was closed. The only credit due is to the mail tec that does a great job. I asked for rhinestones today. She was rude immediately and asked what I wanted in a rude tone. I shared I wanted stones and she can put them wherever it looks good. She was still mean and said " I don't do this" so I said fine and directed her. She put larger stones on my nails and when I asked for smaller she said no. She then tried to start a fake conversation. She asked have I been here before. I said yes and you were mean the last time. " her reply, why do you come back if I'm mean" no apology but yet another argument. I told her she was being argumentative. She then slid the large stones off my nails and told me to go to the guy I referred my family member too. She got up, stormed off and said " I'm tired". She then said something in her language. I asked for what she said in English. She said again " I said I'm tired!!" He magically did my nails perfectly with smaller stones. I am in my 30's. I am no child!!! I will be on the BBB next with this report. To take something off my nails and ruin them with glue and then tell me where to go is insane. This is all to say you never know who you are talking to! I could have been a person that could shut her company down. This company will never get a dollar out of me! Idc if Jesus is in town read more

Every time I come into Sunset Nails I leave satisfied. Lee is AMAZING! Today I gave him a challenge and, as always, he was up for it. Using dipping powders, he created this incredible ombre effect. It was exactly what I was looking for! On days when I'm not quite sure what I want he has the best ideas and they're always spot on. I'm always comfortable and confident in his hands. The staff here is kind, sweet and caring. I may have moved several miles away but Sunset Nails remains my salon. read more

Stopped by here because my usual nail place was having technical difficulties... They weren't busy when we walked in so we were quickly seated at the pedicure chairs. We each wanted a pedi and I wanted a gel manicure. We went with the "basic" pedicure and it was $22. The pedi was good and they included a massage and a mini hot stone massage. They cut my nails, took the cheese off my heels, and painted my nails.. The gel mani was also pretty good. She cut my nails and cuticles, and massaged my hand with lotion. This was $25. The color I picked is really nice. The two workers who did my nails were friendly and talkative. It is pricier then what I usually pay at my go to place, but they are very friendly here and they do a good job.. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. I have no idea how they have such a good rating; that was the reason I went here in the first place. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The salon and equipment were dirty, the service was rough, the nail shapes and ombre were inconsistent, and at the end I was pressured to leave a five star review before I could even take a good look at my nails. Literally, they were standing behind me so I couldn't get out of my chair instructing me to make an account and wouldn't take no for an answer. Don't go here. read more

$30 Gel Acrylic Fill- I'm very happy with my experience. My nails look fantastic! The nail tech listened to my concerns and was friendly. He filed my nails perfectly and my nail beds look absolutely flawless. I am so thankful to have found a new salon. My only negative opinion would be that it is a little uncomfortable to sit with nail filings along your hands and arms. I wish they used towels to rest your arms/ hands under or wiped down the surface regularly with a cloth to collect the debris. I have OCD so I know I'm probably just over reacting. I just feel like that would make the experience better. read more

Before I came in my big toe nail tip was squared for some reason the older women who does pedicures felt like it needed to be cut now it's looks WEIRD. Now I have to wait for it to grow back or get acrylic. Definitely never coming back. read more

This is my 3rd consecutive month coming to Sunset Nails and they do a great service! My nails never chip and I come every 4-5 weeks! They give great pedicures and really take their time! They always add their own personal touch!! I original was just going to get this color on my full mail but Jen recommended this glow in the dark polish with an ombré with glitter design! I have been here before. The last time I had ok service. This time I went for a mani and pedi. Oh my word it was horrible. The man doing my feet was just all in my and my daughters conversations. Said some things to her that were in appropriate. The lady doing my mani was short and aggressive. My nails look HORRIBLE. They are already chipped gel coming off. Not to mention I had to ask her to paint my FULL NAIL. she missed so many spots. It was horrific. Never going back and never recommending. read more

Got my nails done with Jan yesterday, and I gotta say, this is the BEST that my nails have ever looked. She always takes her time to make sure that your nails are perfect before you leave. She suggested marbled nails, and my girlfriend got gel nails. I got marbled as well with dip gel! She used a crazy technique I've never seen and got them perfect!! I love coming here, everyone is so nice and so professional. read more

On arrival I was promtly greeted by Janna. She's very sweet and took the time to really understand my lash-goals and overall objective for this appointment. This is such an important step and so many techs overlook it. Truly appreciated! The studio is clean, sleek, calm and inviting. The lounger was well padded and comfortable, room temperature was nice and cool (it was a pretty warm afternoon outside). The first time I walked in I was at the eyeglass place next door. I didn't understand what they were saying something about $35 but it lasts a month I just wanted some gel nails so I left. Oh my daughter started junior high and she wanted to get her nails done we were in the neighborhood so I maybe we should look into if it lasts a month. My first set of powder Nails was lumpy they fell off. My daughter they put on tips when I told him not to she's little and they fell off. Then they made excuses so we try it again then my daughter's did really nice they look really good no more chips mine were less Lumpy. Then we tried again and I liked mine but they refused to give me a manicure every week I don't know why so I wouldn't have one done somewhere else they don't talk to you they treat you poorly they ignore you and made an appointment for Lee at 4 we arrived at 10 to 4 we sat there and watched him take somebody app for and my daughter couldn't be seen so someone else did her nails. And all the nails fell off within a day I had a credit cuz I paid for my kids nails ahead of time cuz I was there a couple hours earlier than her so I couldn't get my money back so I went in yesterday I have lumpy Nails not nearly as bad as they were but they're bad and I won't be back we must have spent two $300 in their pedicures and I couldn't spend money on a manicure they refused to give it to me and they do a sloppy job they're rude I hear people saying I love you guys I'll be back and I'm like really really mean it coming back it's okay I'll be back I just have to run and I'm like these places usually run smoothly and I'm sure they're a dime a dozen at that price because I've checked around there all about $35 I won't be back I'm thinking the next people I go to they have to speak really good English we have to talk and I want them barking at me and I don't want him speaking in rolling their eyes when I'm there I wish I was making it up but I'm not this was the lowest class I've ever had and I can honestly tell you that I've been having my nails done 4 40 years 39 read more

This was my first time here and the salon is very nicely decorated and seemed very clean. My mom and I came in for pedicures. This is the first time I've seen a nail salon line the bowls with a plastic bag. It made me feel a little more comfortable with getting a pedi done since it keeps the bowls more sanitary and your feet are the only ones that have been in it. I would have still liked to see them to be disinfected since it still has jets but I'm not sure on how it works being that it's the first time I have seen this, so maybe water doesn't flow through the whole system. Luckily I didn't need her to use any implements (cuticle pusher, nail clippers, cuticle nippers) on me since I didn't need any polish or clean up done. I didn't see her grab clean implements once she finished with her last pedi. The massage and sugar scrub felt amazing. They also do a little massage with hot stones and a hot towel. I had Lin, at least I believe that was her name, she was very nice and we made some small talk. She talked about where she went to school to become a licensed nail tech and we had talked about the school I had gone to for cosmetology. She was very sweet and I would definitely be back to see her for another pedi. I don't know where to start. I went in, they were not busy. I was told, can one of the others do your nails. I was greeted with a huge head shake of NOOO!!! I said I will make an appointment and come back, Danny said I will do them, I have had him do my pedi once before, he was good, and it was worth the 40 dollars. and I usually tip generously 10.00 easily. He rushed through he talked about races and I felt bigotry in the short time I was there, the woman getting her pedi while I walked in, was still getting her treatment when i left. 18 minutes later. he didn't file he just cut them short! GRRR and I was gone. I tipped a modest 6.00 and felt the bigotry was endless. Black, Vietnam, White, you can be anything and they have no problem rambling on about his opinions. Odd thing is I was at Dr. and said I will go in , and get pampered. Ha. Neve Never again! and all my friends will know it. So glad I found this salon! My criteria for trying Sunset were first: convenient location near my Mesa home (I'm new to the area) and then: good online reviews. Beyond that, cleanliness and good service were important. Well today, Linh and Lan more than met my and my daughter's expectations! Our mani-pedis were simply the best with good quality products and relaxing massage. Absolutely amazing! I found this nail salon in September 2018 when I wanted to start getting my nails done regularly again. I was hooked from the first visit. The Staff is so caring and nice, I've never had a bad experience when coming here. Their prices are perfect and the salon is always super clean. I will not go anywhere else m! I don't normally write reviews, but oh my goodness, Jan's work had to be shown. I had previously gone to another salon and had my poor nails looking unbearable. But I came to Jan and she was more than happy to fix them and made them more than beautiful. Absolutely love this place. Super friendly, I am always treated like family. I came here for the first time with a friend of mine and it was by far the best experience I've ever had. Jen did my nails and was so gentle and made sure I wasn't in any pain during the time. I'm not sure who did my pedicure but it was a female. I set an appointment for 3:30 and they basically started right then. I had come here before with my mom a while ago and I enjoyed. I walked in and it was so clean and elegant. I went in for just a pedicure and I absolutely loved it. Tom was so good.
