I haven't had my nails done in a long time and I went to a place at the superstition mall and got my nails messed up so badly. They were lumpy, uneven, had acrylic stuck under my nails and I had to leave with no color because they didn't understand what I was asking for. I came to see Anh, she is amazing! My nails look beautiful! She reshaped them, and cleaned them up so beautifully and did the best French tip I could have expected! She is so kind and caring and great at giving you what you ask for. Brought my mom here today to get pedicures while she's visiting! We originally planned on going in yesterday but had to cancel last minute and reschedule - the owner was very understanding and was able to get us in for this morning. We came in and were greeted by the owner (I believe he was the owner at least) who was expecting us, and were seated on the pedicure chairs right away. It was very slow at the salon with only one other customer there, so they were fully attentive to us. The pros of my experience here are: - was able to make an appointment for the same day AND they were flexible when I had to move it - we were greeted by the owner (I think) and seated right away - the owner asked us if we wanted water and gave us bottled water - we received warm neck pillows with scented essential oils, which was super relaxing; I've actually never gotten than from any nail place! - we received 20% off our service (may have been a holiday special); we did the Organic Luxury Pedicure, which is usually $60 so we paid $48 each) - the staff were all very nice - I loved that they took their time with the process and didn't rush us There were a couple of things I would have liked to have gone better: - usually, when you get a pedicure, they let you soak your feet for at least 5 minutes before they start the service but here they didn't let me soak in the hot water for more than 30 seconds before starting. I will say, that's something I have noticed at many nail salons, but this is the quickest I've experienced so far - when I walked out of the salon, the nailpolish wasn't as cleanly done as I would have hoped; it was smeared on my skin and actually a bit messed up on the big toe (I'm sure if I had said something they would have fixed it but we didn't have time) Overall, it was a great experience though and I'm definitely going to be back :) read more

I went to this place because I saw that it had 4.5 stars and pretty good reviews. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. When I got my confirmation text they offered 20% off for first time customer I had a bad feeling because no one really does that anymore but I decided to ignore it. Also, I didn't review this place right away because 1. I'm not your typical Karen & 2. If you look at my account I try to only leave positive reviews but after todays two broken nail incidents a day before Christmas... Here is everything that went wrong. 1. They cut my finger deep while filing/using the machine. 2. The shape of two of my nails is uneven (picture included). 3. I had to tell the nail tech that two of my nails were too chunky on the top because he hadn't filed them down enough with the machine. 4. It's been only about a week and a couple of days and one nail already broke (other places typically last me 3-4 weeks). 5. They said it would only be $40 minus the discount it ended up being almost $60 for something really basic (all one color black with design) 6. The powder/polish on the nail started peeling after 3 days. And my nails went from glossy to matte. 7. He struggled to glue the tip of the nails a lot which is why I think one broke off after just a week. I don't know if I was just a one off case or if they were in a rush or just didn't care to do a good job. Really nice people but I was not impressed. read more

Have been here twice recently for a dip manicure. I can say that John is awesome! He doesn't rush you through the manicure, and he pays attention to detail and does an awesome job. The manicure I got before this, at a different salon, I felt very rushed. I brought my 88yo mom in for a regular manicure last week, and John made her feel very pampered, and she loves her nails. I think it's the first time I've ever seen her with polish on her nails, other than clear polish. I will continue coming here for manicures and pedicures, and I live very close, so it's convenient! I highly recommend Glamor Lab. Very clean, too, and everyone is very friendly. read more

I tried Glamor Lab on a whim because it was on my way home, and my regular nail salon was out of the way. So glad I did! They were very nice, and got me right in for a pedi and a powder dip mani. They had MANY more color choices in powder dip than my regular salon does. Annie gave me the prettiest (not too thick!) manicure. And they have specials each day! For example, Tuesdays 20% off pedis, Wed 20% off powder dip manis.. This is now my new favorite place. read more

I loved that they got me a quick last minute appointment. I needed a French tip on my hands/toes. The guy that was working on my did a great job on my hands but as soon as he's next client walked in, he quickly put one coat of clear polish and moved on from me- and it did not cover the whole nail- I even rubbed over it once it was dry and could feel the white and my nail over lapping. I was going to buy some clear polish but by the time I got home it was already coming off. It is what it is. I don't have time to go back and fix it as I'm always working. read more

Poor customer service. Rude and inattentive. I called at about 11:50 am and indicated that we would be there in 10-15 mins. We arrived about 10-15 mins later than expected due to road construction. Upon arrival, the owner seated us to perform services. However, he was very rude, disruptive, and behaved unprofessionally so we decided to leave and have services done elsewhere. If it was a busy salon, I would have understood. But there was only one customer there and five employees who were not occupied with customers. Will not be returning here. We ended up at another salon who did an excellent job. Recommend trying other nearby salons. read more

This is the BEST Nail salon in Gilbert. My daughter and I have been going here for over 2 Years. They are VERY Friendly and Professional. Very reasonably priced. They are EXCELLENT with young children- my 3 1/2-year-old Granddaughter r is Autistic. She loves going here and will say, "mommy, I need to get my Rainbow Sparklies doe" *Each finger has to be a different color and both hands have to match with LOTS of Glitter" -*She will deliberately peel off her Gel Nails just to get them done again) They are one of the Few places who know how to give a pedicure for people prone to In-Grown Toenails" They are excellent for Waxing and Eyebrow shaping too. The sister who run ISV salon really do appreciate their clients and always are happy to see you. I brought my mother to this salon in hopes she would be pampered. Upon arrival, Beth (the owner, I believe) greeted me with an enthusiastic "Hello!" and a happy smile. From the first step into the salon we felt really good vibes. Muriel took care of my mother as if she were her own. The shop was very organized and relaxing. There were no aggressive up-sells like we've seen in other salons. After the service, my mother mentioned that she was impressed with Muriel's attention to detail. I don't know nails like my mother does, but I'll take her word for it as she can be very picky. On the other hand, I do know business. I went to this salon months ago and I had an ok expierence. The guy that did my nails was really friendly, the place is clean, and it literally is a few blocks away from my house. I decided to support this local business the other day even though I feel that they charge slightly more than other nail salons around the area. When I first walked in, the lady that greeted me didn't really "greet me". I asked for a french manicure and the whole time I was there, she was rushing as if she didn't want to be there. She didn't say one word to me and the whole time, I felt really awkward. I was hoping to leave there at least with great nails. She rushed me so much that I felt like I was being booted out the door. I went to pay her and left her a pretty decent tip for the lack of service. When I got home, I finally studied my nails and they were awful! I was so quick to leave, that I didn't realize that this forty year old woman can actually mess up a french tip manicure! The tips weren't straight, there was polish on my finger (not nail), and some of the white was fading. Unbelievable! I spent $40 for a $10 manicure. read more

Well... the experience was ok. My person didn't really try. They didn't even get under my nail. Just lazily cleaned up, put no effort in the message. Even the message chair sucked. Would NOT come back for a message, I just wanted a nice relaxing pedicure. Was able to get in within about an hour of calling on a Friday night. They had a large selection of shellac polishes. The three ladies who were working were very friendly. They all talked amongst each other and their clients and made us have a good time. My mother and I both had manicures and pedicures. Both of us thought they did a good job and would go back. Incredibly disappointed and will not be going again. First, when I was there, the colors don't really match the nail samples they give you. I chose a medium toned pink and it was a crazy neon when I left. Second, I had to ask to have my nails filed straight. When they were being painted, my nails were left ragged and uneven from the trim. Even after asking for five nails to be redone, by the end, two or three still weren't straight. Lastly, and here's the biggest issue, they started chipping and catching on things (i.e.: my hair) in a week. I've never had a gel manicure that the nail color would raise like acrylics. That's my sole reason for hating acrylics and the SNS powder is it will start catching on my hair. One week in and half my right thumb color is gone and four other nails have that raised color issue that it's popping off my nail. I will never come back. read more

I come here once a month for my manicure and pedicure. I used to go to multiple places before, but since I have found this place in November, I have come here ever since. I love the liquid gel and pay the little extra as it is the only effective nail product, that I have found, to prevent my nails from breaking, cracking, and chipping. I am so hard on my nails, as a nurse, and it's much easier on my nail than organic powders and other products I have tried elsewhere. They have the best selection of polishes and I always do the temperature changing polish as it's like getting two colors in one shot. Sovann is my favorite nail stylist as she takes the time to make sure it is done right and makes sure I leave a happy customer. I love that they are quick an efficient, they can get me in and out in about an hr time for a mani/pedi. read more
