Unfortunately, during that first visit we were unhappy with the service. I even mentioned at the time that I wasn't happy with the color, but it wasn't corrected. After I left a review about my experience, the owner, Chris, reached out to me immediately. He was kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic. He invited us to come back to have our nails repainted and also offered us 50% off our next pedicures. Today, my daughter and I finally had time to return and give them another chance. I intentionally did not mention who I was or that I had a coupon before our services because I wanted an honest experience -- and I'm happy to say we were very pleased this time. My nail tech, Hanna, actually noticed that the color I initially picked might not be one I'd love. She took the time to show me, confirm with me, and help me choose a color that suited me much better. That level of care made a huge difference. If today's visit had been my first experience, I absolutely would have given 5 stars. What impressed me most was that they didn't know who I was until checkout when I showed the 50% coupon, which proved they genuinely cared about providing good service -- not just making up for a bad review. I truly appreciate the way they acknowledged the issue, responded quickly, and made things right. Very happy with how everything turned out.

I waited no more than 10 minutes, and showed my technician a few options of what I was looking for as far as color/design. I wanted something very sheer and light, so he brought a few colors to look at and I decided on light color cat eye. He let me know the cat eye was extra, and I love the transparency here. He did a wonderful job on my nails, everyone was very friendly, and at the end I received a coupon for next visit and a bottle of cuticle oil. I don't get my nails done very often, but I would absolutely return here.

I was taken aback by the question because don't you always get your old polish removed and new polish put on during a pedicure? I clarified the question and said I would like my old polish removed. The pedicure was lovely. It did not feel rushed and I felt like the quality of the pedicure and polish color was great. Went to check out and was expecting a total of $29... I was told $39. When I asked why, they said I had chosen the second option for my pedicure. I said I had selected the basic option and that I had been asked if I wanted a polish change and asked if changing polish cost an up charge of $10. They told me yes, a polish change costs $10. I don't believe it. I think there was miscommunication and I was given the upgraded pedicure although I clearly stated I wanted the basic pedicure, which is an unfortunate rip off. Not what I was planning on paying at all and would deter me from returning for future services despite the pedicure itself being nice.

The language barrier is a huge issue. Though while I understand that it's not the fault of the technicians, it is extremely difficult to communicate needs and expectations as a customer. 1. During the removal of my last gel set, I insisted to my technician that I was not comfortable getting the old gel drilled off as the last time they did it, my nails came out brittle and ended up breaking soon after the service. Isn't gel polish usually removed by sitting wrapped in acetone and foil for a few minutes anyway? She refused to hear my concerns and insisted my nails will be okay. Honestly, this is when I should have got up and left. I'm upset I didn't. 2. I came in with a manicure inspo photo (a french tip with stars over it) and my technician fussed with me the entire time I was seated for my service because SHE was not happy with the color. We reached a point where I grew uncomfortable with having to reassure her that it was what I wanted that I ended up changing colors altogether. Looking back, I'm really frustrated that I let that happen, but there is no reason I should have been driven to do that while getting my nails done. Not even a week following this appointment,my nails are thin and weak, even with a gel layer, and one of my nails is even about to rip off because of how fragile it is now. I am SO so frustrated with this salon (and myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt after this happened once before). I do NOT recommend this establishment to anyone else, regardless of its location convenience. Care for customers needs, expectations, and the health of their nails should not be something I feel like needs to be fought so hard for in such a service.
