The gordo's standard had great sunny side up eggs that somehow was able to fully cook all the white, but left the yolks just barely cooked. The sausage was good, but the bacon was huge, crispy, and had the best balance between crisp, with the chewy porky meat. What really surprised me was the hot beef. The beef was thick slices that were tender and huge portioned, and I loved how the bread was left under to soak up the juices from the beef....and to mop up the gravy. The veg which I expected to be just blanched and bland.....had a decent crunch, and really benfited from mixing from some HP sauce. Next time......pancakes with swirls.

My son absolutely loved his burger, he said it was one of the best he had. Honestly the meat was glistening and looked tasty. I chose the 17.99 salmon eggs Benedict and 2.99 bottomless coffee. The server patiently explained and described the options for the included side (French fries, home fries, grilled potatoes, or cole slaw.) I would have liked a hash brown style option but this was not available. My server then asked how I like to take my coffee and returned with only cream as I asked. The sugar packets are already on the table with the assorted jam ones. There were no napkins apart from the one wrapped around the cutlery but luckily I was able to make do with the one provided. My server was attentive without being obtrusive. She and the cook handled almost everything in the restaurant, and one staff seemed to be designated for prepping and maintaining the cutlery station. There was a steady stream of customers and I was able to savour and enjoy my meal. The music volume was mid range, enough to mostly cover other conversations but not jarring. August 18/2015: A solo breakfast…read more Tiny little diner. Less than 50 seats for customers with an old style 50' theme. I ordered the Eggs Benedict ($17.25). Small serving but not bad taste wise. My server was very nice but wouldn't allow me to take advantage of the breakfast specials because I was there at 11:10 & the specials expired at 11:00, which I kinda understood. I found that to be a rather chinchy move in my opinion. Nothing to write home for food. It didn't really offer anything special but it was good. Peameal bacon was nicely done. I doubt I'd go again, there's not enough of a uniqueness to warrant another visit.
