I've dined in at Sunset Grill before at a different location and was super excited to dine in here again since It's been years since I last had it. The location of this Sunset Grill is conveniently located in a plaza with lots of parking. I came on a Saturday for brunch with my friends and were seated immediately. The resto was pretty packed and service was quick. My friend and I are a big fan of eggs Benedict so we got Eggs Florentine and Eggs Sunset to share. They both came with over easy eggs and we requested to have poached eggs. It worked out perfectly because each dish came with two English muffins and were able to swamp and have one of each. The Eggs Florentine was the healthier option as it came with sautéed baby spinach and onion. There was also Swiss cheese blended in which gave it a nice texture. The Eggs Sunset is more for carnivores such that it came with peameal bacon. The portion of peameal was adequate and filling. Both of the dishes were topped with Hollandaise sauce and served with home fries. Overall, I really enjoyed the Eggs Sunset and Eggs Florentine. If their menu had one of each Eggs Florentine and Eggs Sunset, I would choose that as my dish (I love variety). If I had to choose between the two, I prefer the Eggs Sunset. read more

Thank goodness this is just downstairs from my condo. Sunset Grill is know for its all day breakfast place, coming here, the place is clean, presentable and spacious (since its a relatively new location) The service is great and their menu is quite extensive. For food I decided to try their French Connection; French toast with eggs and a ton of potato wedges. Overall we had a good experience; the portions were huge and reasonable. read more

Sunset Grill is your typical chain breakfast establishment - but the food is better than average. This location is always busy, being in an area I like to refer to as Condo City. The service is hit or miss. There are times I don't have to ask repeatedly for water and other times where I can't even get a refill to save my life. I love the Sunset Sandwich (peameal style bacon, egg and cheddar cheese), which comes with home fries and veggies with ranch dip. It's really great value for your money. I always end up bringing half of it home with me. Also the home fries here are always pretty decent. Sometimes I'll switch it up and order the Eggs Sunset, which is technically eggs Benedict: "three eggs over easy with peameal style bacon on English muffins. Topped with Hollandaise sauce and served with home fries." Let me tell you, the Hollandaise sauce is amazing. It's so good that I should ask for extra sauce on the side. read more

Been coming here for months since its opened and so far, no complaints! It's just a 5 minute walk away from where we live. It's our go to breakfast joint when we don't want to go into town and wait an hour. We go weekend mornings and although busy, we don't usually wait that long! The food doesn't disappoint - I usually get my regular eggs with half bacon and half sausage with house fries. The service is pretty decent and everybody's kind! read more

I didn't have a very good experience here. The staff was not knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Don't go there if you expect to get the $4.99 breakfast they advertise. The waitress did not know what that was (she had to call the manager to ask). Then we asked if we could add bacon and we weren't told that this means the price goes up to $8.99. We also got fruit instead of potatoes meaning the breakfast total was around $12 when we paid the bill. The issue wasn't the price that I was not told clear information from the start. The waitress was very polite and friendly though. When we asked the owner a question about the bill she was defensive and rude. Maybe she was just having a bad day but reading the comments she leaves here after having experienced her attitude makes me see them in a different light. I really wanted to like this location but after the experience I had today I don't think I will ever be going back, which is too bad. It is unfortunate to have a bad experience but even worse when the owner makes the experience worse. read more

Newly opened and still some things to figure out (such as not offering poached egg on a Benedict... isn't that in the definition?). We waited about 45 minutes for our brunch, with apologies from the waitress as she blamed the kitchen for being 'new at this'. We were more disappointed in her attitude than anything else. When the food came, it was great, and on par with other locations. This area really needs food, and good food. Both times that I've been here I had a good dining experience. The staff are friendly and check up on you often enough. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad and it was good. Appropriately dressed though the chicken was slightly dry, I still enjoyed it. My boyfriend liked the Eggs Sunset, everything was cooked well and tasted great. I am glad it is so close to my new apartment! read more

Since its been a few weeks since I went here, this review is stale, however do remember the ambiance to be bright and cheery, Sunday morning brunch was packed with local folks from the nearby condos, and service was good.
