    Strawberry French toast (small option)
    Laura T.

This was pleasant accidental walk in find of classic brunch food. All the classics with a mimosa $5 special! The menu didn't have anything particularly unique but it did classic well. I really liked the strawberry French toast I had and my partner had the fish and chips, he liked his-"Not too greasy and fresh" The restaurant is smaller but we easily got tables on a Saturday morning. I would come back if I was in the area.

came here for a anniversary recently, after years of driving by this place/checking out the menu online came here on a Wednesday, and was a bit of a odd visit. (first day of the week they are open) was given the menu, an asked if some item ordered can be altered "that item isn't in the meal" it's in print, on your menu "let me double check" thankfully the item was not included in the item i was personally trying to avoid, but then the sandwich was absolutely smothered in fried onions that absolutely rubbed the inside of my mouth for a couple of days after the fact. the omelet with the veggie sausage substitution was from the beyond meat brand which dominated the flavor of the meal for me. my partner, thankfully enjoyed everything. the service was nice, friendly, and a touch on the pushy side, as we were told to "come on Sunday, our busiest day" multiple times decent atmosphere, visually, but the music was a touch too loud and the playlist was all over the map for a selection of tunes, you could tell it wasn't a radio station, but someone's playlist. they have one of my favorite bottles of whisky, unfortunately, I don't drink in public anymore was decent, would go back, but not for a bit.

Benedict with salmon and lemon curd butter

I love a good eggs benedict, and this spot truly satisfied the craving. The salmon and lemon curd upgrade was the best choice I could have made cause the tinge of sweet with this savory meal was one of the best things I've tasted. Even the fries were perfectly seasoned that I didn't even need to eat it with ketchup. This spot is definitely worth visiting!

Came by for a quick meal. We sat at the patio, it was fairly quiet for a weekend. Their outdoor patio is very nice. We got the fish and chips. The seasoned chips were absolutely delicious. The service was great. I'll definitely be back to try their dinner menu

Coffee with a shot of espresso

I stopped in to sit on the shaded patio and have a cup of coffee. The interior is really nice and has great atmosphere and the patio was quiet and peaceful despite being street side. I had a coffee with an espresso shot, three eggs and bangers and they were quite possibly the best bangers I've ever had. They were short stubby and just delicious. I would return simply to have those again. Service was prompt and friendly and overall it was an excellent experience. I will definitely return Despite the experience being really good, the bill was less than $20. Great food, great service and great value.

    Full English
    Deanne M.

We came here as we wanted to have an English breakfast and not too many places offer it in Toronto especially on weekdays. I got the half English breakfast and my partner got the full English breakfast. For the full English breakfast, then ran out of white pudding so they subbed it for another black pudding. We also ordered a side of chicken and waffles which came with one piece of waffle along with one piece of chicken. I was debating on if I wanted that or the English breakfast as a main, so I'm happy they had an option to have it as a side. We both enjoyed the English breakfast and the fries were really good!

Busy on Christmas Day! Everyone masked and physically distanced for their pick up.

So so so good. Fell in love with this local gem pre-covid. Prior to pandemic, I loved to come here for brunch on the weekend. Great service, atmosphere and food. During covid times, I've ordered take out a few times. Each time, food is hot and fresh, great portions and flavours! My last experience was for my family's Christmas dinner :) We ordered 2 Christmas dinners (one turkey roulade, and one roast beef) which came with ALL the fixings, plus we added a full order of the amazing pear and beet salad, a side of maple glazed bangers (so tasty!), and a banoffee pie (the perfect way to cap off the meal). And to bring us into the new year, we grabbed frozen pies to stock up in our freezer: 4 mini meat pies and a large fisherman pie (which we've since tried and LOVED). Check out this local pub for take out. You won't regret it! Pro Tip: Follow them on IG for latest updates and hilarious feed on IG Stories.

    Grilled cheese & Tomato soup

I love Kitchen on Sixth. It is such a cute little vibe in there. the decor is really nice and the few waitresses we have had always are really sweet and attentive. I have been here a handful of times and I get the grilled cheese every time! it's too darn good!! i also love their espresso martinis!

Chicken & waffles, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and grapefruit mimosa.

This unsuspecting spot has had me craving their food on a few occasions now. Not only is the food presentation on point and their mimosas are $4!!, everything is delicious. They even offer some authentic British dishes like black and white pudding. Service has been very hospitable. Definitely recommend.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. A quick Yelp check pointed me to this spot a brisk eight-minute walk from Queen Station on Yonge, and I'm so glad I made the detour instead of heading to one of my usual haunts. I was seated immediately. The place has lots of seating -- high tops, tables and booths -- and a cool, eclectic vibe: comfy chairs, interesting wall photos, eggshell light fixtures and cheerful yolk‑yellow and orange tones. Big glass windows make it a fun people‑watching spot, and the open kitchen lets you see the cooks hustling away. I ordered the classic breakfast (just over $18): two scrambled eggs -- soft and perfect -- plus herb potatoes fried in beef tallow (I swapped those for lightly dressed artisan greens). You choose your protein -- bacon, Canadian bacon, rosemary ham, chicken, or pork bangers -- and I went with the hardwood‑smoked bacon: three perfectly cooked slices. Coffee was ethically sourced, and my mochaccino hit the sweet spot -- not too sugary. All in all 10 out of 10. I plan to try their gluten free waffle next time. Extras worth noting: they offer booze, smoothies, juices, and a $4.75 "coffee bump" (1 oz of Irish cream, Kahlúa, whiskey, bourbon, brandy, or Grand Marnier). Eggs are free‑run. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable -- got me in and out without feeling rushed, back at my desk before 1 pm. I'll definitely be back -- next time with friends so I have an excuse to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a well‑made, comforting breakfast-anytime (and possibly a legal excuse for a midday coffee bump).
