A place even Grandma will love! Okay, okay, so I'm 70 years old (not sure how this happened). And I've been around the block, lemme tell you ... I had a dentist I loved, and then he suddenly disappeared. I showed up on Monday morning for my appointment, and all new signage was up. I asked the staff, and they had no idea. He'd just literally sold the business overnight and moved on. To this day we still don't know what happened. I didn't feel great about having a dentist take over that I was unfamiliar with, but it seemed to be okay. Then over and over, he kept recommending procedures that didn't seem necessary. He wanted cleanings every 4 months for no apparent reason. Then every other month he wanted to do a deep cleaning. I was constantly pressured to see their "preferred" periodontist. Every time I turned around, they needed to re-do a filling or re-do a cap. It just seemed weird. So I went for a second opinion, and that dentist told me "You don't need a cap, you just need to replace a filling. I was in-and-out, no hassle, no pressure, no fuss. Still puzzled, I began to research dental scams. I ran across a dentist from the east coast, and on his video, he outlined the top 10 dental scams. The old dentist had recommended 9 of those procedures! The video also used the example that if a dentist only makes $100 profit on a filling, but can make $2500 profit on a cap, the scam is to talk you into a cap. Wow. So I thought it'd be a great idea to find a nonprofit, because surely they wouldn't be into these scams. I found one I liked, and I love supporting nonprofits! They were okay for a little while. Then when I went in for routine x-rays and a cleaning, the dentist only cleaned 5 of my teeth??? I was puzzled when he said that was all that was needed. Seems I'd found the other end of the spectrum. On the one end was a guy who was recommending 9 unnecessary procedures, and on the other end, the guy only wanted to clean 5 of me teeth. aye aye aye Frustrated, I began to research again. I found Sunset Dental Arts and I liked the reviews. I gave them a try this afternoon. Clean bill of health, and no unnecessary procedures. (Imagine that.) They were warm, friendly, efficient ... and hey ... the dentist smiled and said, "We'll be cleaning ALL your teeth today." LOL! Couldn't ask for more that that! I'm a pleased customer, and I'm leaving 5 stars and smiling with ALL my healthy teeth! read more

I highly recommend coming to Sunset Dental Arts in Orange. I have a very hard time at the dentist and stopped going for a while. I finally built up the courage to go when I talked to Alex on the phone and she was very nice. She reassured me that everyone would be patient. When I came in for my consultation, Alex and Alexa at the front desk were amazing. They continued to reassure me and make me feel comfortable. Dr. Olmos and his assistant Benia were the perfect duo for me. They were both very sweet, gentle, and supportive. They let me have small breaks throughout the cleaning which helped me stay relaxed. If you have a hard time and feel like you need to close your mouth, they don't mind. The last dentist I went to was very mean and yelled at me when I closed my mouth. The last dentist office I went to threatened to start over and charge me extra. That made me scared to go back so I have not been to the dentist in a couple of years. That was not the case here. MUST READ! I hadn't been to see a dentist in over 6 years! I was terrified trying to find a dentist who would understand and be kind to the fact I had gone that long without having seen a dentist. I told her I was looking for a dentist for myself and my boyfriend and she didn't hesitate to get us both in for consultations right away! Upon coming in the staff was very friendly. I'm scared of anything with my teeth or mouth so not feeling my mouth got me extremely nervous. Dr. Olmos was amazing, he assured me we didn't have to proceed if I didn't want to and gave me time to think about what I wanted to do. He didn't rush me and was extremely patient. This is by far the most caring and attentive dental office I've been to. The entire process from booking the appointment, to the time of discharge and setting up any follow-up appointments is extremely easy. The front office staff as well as the back office staff and dentist are bilingual which for me is a huge plus! Everyone take the time you need to ensure that you understand your treatment plan and answer all of your questions in a easy to understand manner. Most other offices get mad if you ask questions, but not the staff at Sunset Dental Arts. The dentist, Dr. Olmos is super gentle, he asks you throughout your treatment if you feel any pain. As I'm sure others can relate to, not all dental experiences are positive, so I was pleasantly surprised with my overall visit. The office itself is very spacious and the waiting room had nice personal touches that made the wait feel short. During my visit, Dr. Cesar was able to address all my concerns and made recommendations based off of what my dental goals were. I didn't feel pressured into doing any procedures I felt were unnecessary (which has been something I've experienced with other dentists). I was so afraid of the dentist! But I'm not anymore after visiting Dr. Cesar. I'm excited to finally get my treatment finished!!

Dr. Olmos is so comforting I fell asleep during my root canal. No sleeping gas needed just regular numbing of the gums. Beside the numbing, it was a pretty painless procedure. I will continue to frequent Dr. Olmos dentist office from years to come. Margaret is a sweetheart and is so welcoming off rip. Diana and all the other dental hygienists that I have yet to meet is very accommodating, and their smiles especially Margaret's is what I'm striving to achieve for one day. Thank you for having such cool staff Dr. Olmos, and taking care of me. I did about 6-7 root canals total so far and it's been years since I smiled or bite properly. After a googled search I found several dental practices in the area and decided on Sunset Dental Arts. I called to make an appointment and after arriving at the office I felt comfortable with the staff being very friendly and helpful during the Digital registration process.The office is really nice and clean with complimentary coffee available. Dr Olmos' working area has the most updated equipment , and he practices up-to-date dental procedures. He explained the procedure of removing my crown , filling the cavity , putting on a new crown and answered all questions to my satisfaction. While in the dental chair waiting for the filling to harden , the monitor with the x rays on was switched to TV and I was able to watch Netflix. I left without any pain and am actually looking forward to going back for my next treatment. a week ago Charles S, Sr. Shortly after leaving the Dental office, I was on my computer and noticed an Email,"Your dental appointment has been scheduled at Sunset Dental Arts."
