I changed dentists in January. I am very happy with this dentist and the staff. Very efficient and professional. I just had my second cleaning which went very well and they use more modern methods than the usual scraping and polishing process. Also had two permanent crowns done this visit. Please don't go here if you want to protect your teeth. They got greedy and are unprofessional. I used to love this place for years and my family did too. Staff wanted to remove all my fillings and replace them with root canals. Got a second opinion somewhere else and was advised not to because it will ruin my teeth! They also removed all my old silver fillings to and put in new white fillings which created teeth pain. This was not needed when my old fillings were fine! They just wanted something to bill. When they removed my old fillings they had to drilled a deeper hole to remove everything. The new "white filling" is now too close to my nerve which causes tooth pain & sensitivity. My family members were also given bad care. They were told they need to remove their root canals and put in a crown. They also got a second opinion and advised not to do this! I brought another family member before I knew about the greed, and they told me it was horrible experience because the staff wanted to bill them for so many things they didn't need. I've never had the best oral hygiene, and for a while there I dodged the dentist at all costs... I was apprehensive at first coming in here. However, the first thing you'll notice is everyone is super cordial and welcoming. They helped clean me up. Then develop and carry out a plan of action moving forward. A few crowns later they have fixed up my smile. I just wish I would have found them sooner... But better late than never right? read more

I usually don't write reviews/complain very little regarding service. I avoid confrontation (probably to a default) but I am frustrated to the point that I needed to share this. Both me and my father had been patients here for the past few years and familiar enough with the staff that many of them were aware of our family business up the street. It hurts my head to think of how much they've made billing our insurance in the time we've been patients, including thousands out of pocket. I was just turned away and forced to "reschedule"/ told "no" (per the office manager) when I asked if I could please return to retrieve my payment for them immediately after the visit. If I was a new patient or someone with an outstanding balance then I could understand, but I was neither and this was just very bad business on their part. Being turned away did not make me feel very good and this is far from the first issue we've experienced there. We will be taking our business to one of the countless other dental practices in the immediate area with better customer service and quite frankly, better dentists! read more

i love this dentist office so much! they truly are the embodiment of what good/ attentive healthcare looks like! everyone in here is so kind and always greets you when you come in! Brandy always has a smile on her face and just makes you feel settled in! The dentists and assistants in the office are also all so knowledgeable and friendly, which makes the dentist office a much less intimidating place! Amanda just did my deep cleaning and it was so easy. She is better than anyone at making sure to get water out of my throat quickly and frequently. She really got in there. At no point did I feel scared that I was going to choke or that I i would run out of air. I can't breathe very well from my nose so sometimes I can't help but breathe through my mouth so if you don't get the water right away then I have to hold my breathe. read more

Horrible experience from the moment I walked in , to the moment I walked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody! I was scheduled at 12:30 came in at 12:20 waited an hour just to be called back. My main concern was a cleaning & I had to ask them twice before the front desk told me No , and wanted me to pay for a $150 deep cleaning when the office promotes a $49 fee for cleaning x-rays and exam. I have an HMO plan, there for they were trying to charge me a co pay fee without cleaning instead of helping me out with the $49 coupon (cleaning included) I told them about, it was still an issue. It's clear they are only money hungry and only about production! I will be going back to my old dentist, this place is a joke. Absolutely horrible! read more

Dr. Sarvaiya and her staff are the absolute best! I met her recently and she suggested I come in for an appt. since it had been a few years for my last experience with a dentist. I admit my poor teeth are a bit of a train wreck given all the old amalgam fillings in my molars have started to fall apart. She was very kind and said not to worry but that it's quite common and not horrible to fix. On my appt day the xrays were done in minutes and revealed the need for 6 crowns. I nearly died but knew it would be extensive. After discussion and mapping a personal treatment plan that would take care of my teeth AND meet my budget demands we began yesterday with the first two crowns. I can't tell you how relieved I was that other than some pressure with the Novocain injections, there was no pain. She was so gentle and reminded me to keep breathing and we got thru that hardest part. Everything else was a breeze. She was even able to do a cleaning on the side that wasn't numb and for me, that was amazing!! I'm so sensitive (being a redhead) and have had extensive root canals, caps, etc. owing to very soft teeth but that appt yesterday was a breeze. I cannot rate her highly enough and am actually looking forward to our next several visits to care for my teeth. I don't mind admitting that at as an over 50 single woman with a child still in college; every penny counts and I'm thrilled that with Dr. Sarvaiya's help and care and compassion I will be able to care for myself as well. read more

Went there with a lot of missing teeth and the few I had left were damage due to chemotherapy. I was given hope by Dr Avanti and for the first time I really felt as though I was about to have a structured mouth that I could work with within my insurance coverage. I cannot go into play by play appointment strategy, but it was mostly the front upper and lowers would be root canals with caps and the back upper and lower would be partials. That's how I thought my happy ending would be. But after day 1, i ended up having multiple people working on my teeth doing multiple projects, which some felt like it was their first day out of dental school. I was given steroids which at one time landed me in ICU for 4 days. Another time I was not given pain medicine and dealt with severe pain. . I ended up having to get my frontal uppers pulled and walked around for months with NO FRONT TEETH! Everything time I got a tooth pulled I had to pay $300 for some bone graph thing which I'm not working and was insult to injury. I had to have for so that was $1200 which I did not have, but have to give. I had to go back several times for adjustments and sad to say I am putting those dentures where they belong, in the trash. I cans talk with them, I can't eat with them. They look like trash. I am going to file a claim with medical to find a dentist who will work with me and give me some dentures that look like teeth. I would not recommend anyone to go here. As a matter of fact the person who recommended me to go here, does not go here any more because of there unprofessionalism. They opened an office in Mission Viejo and when I try to make an appointment there they will not let me they tell me to stay at the Tustin office. I am going to drive by that office to see how it looks. She works out of that office 4 days a week and only comes to the Tustin office 1 day a week now . New customers do your homework. Let me start off by saying, I am not a fan of 'the dentist' at all!! Since I was a little girl, I have never liked 'the dentist'. I still care for my teeth despite my fears and reservations. This brings me to Dr. Avani, my co worker recommended her to me and told me she is great and gentle and I would really like her work. I called Dr. Avani's office and Jennifer was great at getting me in quickly for the initial exam and X-rays. Exam showed I needed 2 fillings, an extraction(I knew this was needed), and a crown. Dr. Avani was great doing the 2 fillings for me. The only pain I felt was the numbing shot. She did a good job and took her time to make sure it was right. I had discomfort that day only, by the next day I was fine, eating normal. A couple of weeks later I finally brought myself to the extraction. Well I was so nervous before I even made it in the office. Dr. Avani assured me I was in good hands with her and Jennifer and to not worry. I tried to calm myself down, I was so terrified!! So Dr. Avani started and again the only pain I felt was the numbing shot!! This was my first time ever having an extraction while awake, and I didn't feel anything. There is some pushing and pressure but no pain. I was so tense, but Dr. Avani kept telling me to relax, and breathe, and that I was doing great. Her coaching really helped me to say "ok it's not hurting thus far so just breathe". I got stitches, and she prescribed yummy pain pills, because I was so afraid of the pain I would feel after the numbing wore off. That day the tooth bled, as she told me it would. I changed the gauze she gave me and braced myself for the next day. The next day of the extraction, I was absolutely fine!!! No pain at all, eating normal on the other side as to not hurt the open wound or stitches, and I never needed the pain pills!!! I have since brought my 11 year old son to her and he loves her as well. He felt like royalty when Jennifer asked him what he wanted to watch on the tv in the exam room, of coarse he chose Minecraft on YouTube and was loving it. He has had an exam, X-rays, cleaning, fillings, and he said he didn't feel any pain at all with any of it. Now I tend to think he is braver than me, even though I am 3x his age, but he did great because Dr. Avani and Jennifer make it a great dental experience. I just had to write a review because I am very impressed with Dr Avani Sarvaiya And Jennifer the Tech and Receptionist, she does it all. My first visit was November of 2017. I had cracked a tooth and they got me in ASAP. I was a bit nervous because of past experiences, which I am sure you can all comprehend. Jennifer was so nice and friendly and she kept assuring me it was going to be easy and not too long. She took X-rays of all my teeth and she was not only fast but so gentle andnever just crammed the cardboard and p'ast Into my mouth. She really put me at ease and the nerves called down right away. I came back in December to have my teeth cleaned and a check up and also had my broken tooth pulled. The office treatment was a breeze, it was just the next week recovering from the pain with the tooth. Overall, I must say that I am very happy with the work that was done and that the office is new and very clean and don't mind coming to this dentist. The two of them together are a great team and are available to take a phone call if I had any questions or problems. If you are looking for a dentist, this is a great place to go! No waiting, you get right in, it's clean, X-rays are done quickly and painlessly !!! I definitely don't mind coming every 6 months here. I thank Jennifer for being so pleasant and gentle as well as Dr Sarvaiya!
