The appointment took about 1.5 hours with the first hour devoted to a diagnosis of deep cleaning and several cavity fills. I'm in my mid-twenties with no prior history of cavities or gum issues so found this surprising and chose to decline treatment. The actual cleaning took about 5-10 minutes. Got a second opinion from my previous dentist who found no cavities and disagreed with the deep cleaning diagnosis. The bone loss flagged was related to a known side effect of Invisalign treatment, which I just finished, not underlying gum disease. Front desk also asked for my medical insurance card at check-in, which I haven't encountered at other dental offices. I tried making an appointment here, and the first person I spoke with was incredibly kind and helpful. She let me know I needed to provide my ID number, so I called my previous dental office to get it and planned to call right back. When I did, I'm pretty sure someone else answered. She asked for my name, then quickly said, "It looks like we called you because we needed your ID number." I explained that's exactly why I was calling, gave her the information--and then she just said "Okay, bye" and hung up. No mention of next steps, no clarification if I needed to complete any forms ahead of time, nothing. It felt abrupt and honestly, a bit rude. Based on that interaction alone, I've decided I won't be coming here after all. First impressions matter. read more

I had a very positive experience as a first time patient. Setting up an appointment and checking in were both very easy to do. Upon arrival I was able to fill out documents via mobile website. Once I was called back I had x rays taken. The ladies who work here made the experience as comfortable as they could. I typically have trouble with x rays and they made me feel really comfortable. Next was the analysis from the dentist who was so nice. I've never had such a thorough analysis before, for the first time I was actually communicated with what was going on with my dental health. I received fillings, porcelain onlay, and a deep cleaning, all of which were done efficiently while ensuring that I was comfortable. It gets cold in the office and they were so sweet enough to have a blanket to provide. They also provided eye protection for the bright lights which helped to make it less intense on the eyes. For once I'm actually looking forward to returning for my next cleaning. read more

If you want to be treated like cattle at an impersonal and misleading hidden fees loving dental office then come here! They did not offer anything that they advertised and as a salesperson myself these people are really good at sales. Meaning they don't see you as a patient, you are just part of their upselling business model. They will over-diagnose " gum disease " which like not that common lol. Especially if you do basic daily dental care at home. I got a second opinion today and the doctor was like yeah you really didn't need anything more than a basic cleaning. She was done in 20 minutes. Amazing office ! Dr. Amy and her team are exceptional. First off the office is beautiful and has the most state of the art equipment. I was able to get a crown done in one day without having to deal with a temporary. Dr. Amy's exam was the most through exam I have ever gotten. She prioritized my most immediate needs without overwhelming me with a million different options. Aylin helped me with x-rays and was so gentle, she made the appointment so easy and relaxing. My experience here at Orange Modern Dentistry was spectacular! I went in needing a root canal and crown. I was scared for my life because of the horror stories I've been told about root canals. Well, let me tell you those stories were lies. At least at this office. Dr. Hayashi, the root canal specialist, did my root canal in 10 minutes ! Super unheard of. Right after my root canal I got my crown done by Dr. Amy. Same day ! I walked out with both root canal and crown done in one day ! I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am to have come across this office ! The rest of the staff were so friendly as well making it very welcoming and comforting that I am now happy to say I found my new dental office !
