tldr - Dr. Rosales helped me fix the discoloration on my front two crowns, which had been bothering me for the past NINE years. More importantly, he also helped me avoid a gum surgery that could have cost me thousands of dollars down the line. Previously, my old dentist spotted an infection and referred me to an endodontist, who insisted I needed an apicoectomy (gum surgery) or an implant. I was shocked and distraught. At my consultation with Dr. Rosales, he carefully explained the risks of jumping into such an invasive procedure and offered thoughtful alternatives. His professional and caring bedside manner really put my anxiety at ease. Soon after, he consulted my case with an endodontist and came back with a meticulous treatment plan. The treatment involved a root canal, lots of whitening, and replacing my two discolored crowns. My new smile is truly transformed and I'm absolutely ELATED! Short version? This is the dentist office you have been looking for. They are welcoming, treat you like family, and the cleanings/procedures are pain free. They tell you everything before you pay for services. No pressure. Long version? I think it's really hard to find a dentist that you genuinly like or love. I had been searching for a dentist closer to home as I had previously commuted to Diamond Bar and Fullerton. Both places, my cleanings would be a "feels like forever" uncomfortable process- my body tense and just holding my breath during sensitive sections. After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this office out. As soon as I walked in, I am greeted by name, not "what's your name?" The person who walked me into the room made me feel comfortable as I told her about all my anxiety about the dentist. At this point, I hadn't seen the dentist in a year and was overdue on cleanings. After baseline xrays and photos were taken, Dr. Rosales explained everything thoroughly. He explained the xrays and what he saw and explained why I had sensitivity issues not just that its a common thing to have snesitivities to hot/cold. Dr. Rosales also explained the plan moving forward and what he thought would be best to get on track. Before any treatment were rendured, I was explained the cost and wasn't pressured into anything I didn't feel comfortable doing. Even when I told Dr. that I was told I was due for a deep cleaning, he said he would check xrays to ensure that was needed. The deep cleaning could wait. (Yess!!) Fast forward to my cleaning appt. I'm a hot mess, anxious, but the team ensured I would be fine. The dental hygenist (amy?) was so chill and made me feel more at ease. It wasn't the typical "sit here, open your mouth"... we talked and she distracted me. She placed numbing medication all around my gums and I didn't feel anything. I got so emotional. The first time ever in my life, I wasn't holding my breath, gripping my hands, or sweating during a teeth cleaning. This right here, has changed everything. This is the dentist for life. They make you feel so welcomed, like family, not just another person/chart to have cleaning or procedures. I've been coming here for 6-7 years and have always had a great experience! I have been historically treated by Dr. Fotinos but since he retired I have been seen by Dr. Rosales. I am very happy with this practice. From the front office staff to the provider. So far I've had a cleaning here (regular and deep) and extraction of two teeth w/ bone grafts. The Front Staff: Thank you for your help and assisting me with appointments. You both are so kind and sweet. The Deep Cleaning: Tiffany... you are my favorite dental hygienist. As long as you remain at this office, I will be coming for my cleanings. I've always heard of deep cleanings being painful...but you made this such a great experience. I was in absolutely no pain...even when the numbing agent wore off. You answered every single question I had. I will be here every 6 months for my cleanings! The Extractions: I was extremely nervous going in the day of the extractions. I had held off on this for over 5 years. I am not a person that tolerates pain well a didn't wanna go through the process... but somehow Dr. Rosales talked me into it. The healing process was rough (due to my bone density), but every little question or concern I had (I was in my head about alot of things), he was right there to squeeze me into his schedule and take a look at it. A great day! Tiffany cleaned my teeth. I had no problems and no cavities. My teeth are in great condition. Dr Rosales came to check my teeth before I left. They were perfect! What do I like best about Dr Rosales and his staff? They are friendly, explain any of my concerns, easy to book appointments and then very communicative so that I can try to make it on time. If you are looking for a dentist that is thorough, doesn't cut corners, and is very detailed with your teeth, this is the place for you. If you want the bare minimum, not preventative, just "bandaid your issues" and look away, this probably isnt for you. I was looking for a dentist that can take care of my veneers since the dentist I previously had could not fix my 1 veneer that fell off. It fell of 3 more times with my previous dentist! I was met with Dr Rosales and his assistant Amy, and they looked at the overall quality of my teeth and veneers, the impact of some veneers/crowns having gaps, and other issues that I had. I am a very anxious person that focused on preventative measures to protect my health so I wanted to address everything he found. I was initially hesitant because there were a few issues but the reviews of this place had me give it a try. I also looked around other locations also, but this was where I felt most comfortable. The people were very nice, even though i get very nervous with dentists. Dr Rosales is very knowledgeable and will tell you how things are. He does not sugarcoat (which is what I was looking for). He does not pressure you in any ways and gives you the pros and cons of any decision you may decide on. During the procedures, he is very aware of his patient's comfort level and makes sure to check up on you multiple times, which I really appreciate! I would say, I chose this location for Dr Rosales' expertiese but stayed because of Amy! Amy had a way of calming me down before and during all my appointments no matter how scared I was for the procedures. She always chatted with me to make sure i was ok, Dr Rosales did as well, but when he was busy with other patients before my appts, being greeted by Amy and her genuinely caring about you as a person not just as a patient is very special and rare. She has a lovely personality that will make you feel like family. For general cleanings, Tiffany has been so wonderful. Again, her demeaner is so calm that cleanings now is not something I dread. I really like how extensive the cleaning is as usually my previous dentists just clean for like 15 min and always hurts! The cleanings here don't hurt and are very thorough, taking at least 45min (which to me is a great thing!) Then at the end, Dr Rosales checks for any issues. If all clear, then you are done! Dr Rosales placed two crowns. One has a strange ridge that irritates me. Got a second opinion; I was concerned that it could get infected or maybe already was infected. It doesn't hurt a lot - but it bothers me to no end and it has metallic taste, and there is some pain with pressure. It feels "hot" to me. New dentist said it's ok - apparently it's covered at the base with a clear compound. Not thrilled with the ridge or the metallic taste - but good to know it's not infected. I may have it redone eventually because it just really bugs me to no end - the ridges are as irritating as can be. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Rosales for about a year. I initially came to this office to establish dental care after a couple years of neglect. I had moved to California and time just slipped. Right away it was unlike any dental office experience I have ever had. Communication has always been a priority for Dr. Rosales and the entire staff. I have finally found my forever dental office. I had a crown fall out and my dentist at the time did not have any openings for me for five days. I contacted Dr. Fotino on Thurs, Dec 14th and he had me in to his office right away the next day when my crown fell out. His office squeeze me into the day, and I had never been so ecstatic about getting an appointment in my life. Lol. The front office of ladies are truly so kind and made the checking in process very easy. I was then taken back and seen first by the dental assistant, Amy. She did x-rays of my teeth and checked the quality of the crown that was made from my previous dental office and recognized that it was not made very accurately. This was my second time having a problem with the same crown. Amy said to not worry, that I would be taking care of. Then I was seen by Dr. Morales. He was so thorough on explaining why the crown had fallen out and explained about how the teeth on each side of the crown was not close enough to that crown to help keep it in place. And as well that my previous dentist shaved down the tooth that the crown was on too much. Then Dr. Morales went on to explain what would need to be done next. Which was to bring me back into the office on Dec 20th for the temporary crowning of two teeth and cleaning of the other one. Total of 3. When I arrived for my visit to get the temporary crowning done and cleaning, the ladies up front were again so welcoming, and we even chatted a little bit about one of our favorite bars in Long Beach called Alexs Bar (I happened to be wearing the bars shirt to my my appt). it may not seem like a big deal, but having something in common and having natural conversations with a medical office, such as Dr. Fotinos, makes you even more comfortable and welcomed. I was then again taken back by Amy as she prepped me for getting my temporary crowns ready and to be fitted. In walked Dr. Morales to start the procedures. Which, of course is never fun because you have to get your gums numbed. He was very gentle and even though I could feel a little bit of pain from the injections, I've experienced worse pain before so kudos to Dr. Morales! The process took about an hour and a half. Dr. Morales was so great that I started to fall asleep during all of the teeth Work I was getting done. Who falls asleep getting their teeth procedures done? I never have before, but I did this time. Which Dr. Morales said is a compliment to him. After all was said and done, Amy fitted me with my temporary crowns, and made sure that I was comfortable with how they were fitted. The ladies out front checked me out and scheduled my follow up on January 4 to get my permanent crowns, placed and get a full exam done as well. This is truly one of the best experiences I have ever had regarding my teeth. That I'm actually looking forward to my appointment on January 4th. I highly recommend Dr. Fotino's office. 10 STARS! I promise you, you will not be disappointed. This is the dental office you need in your life! If you live in Orange or around the surrounding area, you are doing yourself a disservice if you are not coming here for your dental needs! My wife and I moved to the Orange area about half a year ago and we knew we needed to find a dentist closer to us. I looked on Yelp and found Dr. Fontinos practice here at the heart of Orange (near the Orange Circle). The first time I came here, they wowed me. Not only did they do my teeth cleaning. They included a comprehensive exam to go over the condition of my teeth and what things to look out for. Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision to get any dental work done. However, they are very thorough at showing you pictures and x-rays of your teeth and explaining what you have going on. Honestly, I've never had such great dental care before! I don't think you'll find another dentist that will spend over 30 minutes just to explain everything about your teeth and create a plan to proactive maintain and take care of your teeth. I got my wife to start coming here and she's singing the same praises as me. We're trying to get our families to start coming here as well. Even if you already have a dentist, consider checking this place out. The staff is great (shout out to Stacey and Melissa!). The doctors are great. Everything about this place is great. If you care about your teeth, you will definitely need to come here! read more

Honestly I am so used to the same old script. Dentist comes in and says oh you have a cavity and let's fix it. But at this office it's WAY better. They are talking long term plans to fix and prevent any more damage. They explain everything to have stronger teeth to at T! Great experience, great care and great communication. Dr. Randy was great in telling me the care I need and going in depth to what the causes and treatments are. I would 100000% go to this dentist. Your teeth with thank you! read more

i absolutely LOVE this office! My husband & I both love it. I started coming here after multiple bad experiences at the dental office I grew up going to. From the wait times, treatment plans to the staff interactions, bad. Which is the complete opposite of what I've received with Dr. Fotinos office. They are so transparent and thoroughly walk you through treatment plans so you understand exactly what the game plan is and they do great quality work. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I have never been so excited to make my dental appointments. If you think you "hate the dentist" they will totally change your mind here!! read more

Dr. Rosales is an incredible dentist. He took the time to walk me through everything, made me feel at ease, and was so thorough. I came in thinking I just needed a cleaning, but he found teeth that needed fillings and took preventative measures. Do you hate the dentist? Perfect! Me too. Until, I came to this practice. I found them through a referral and as usual I dreaded the meet and greet, X-rays and seeing the potential list of problems. In this case though I had a major issue one was a cavity and the other my wisdom teeth that I had no choice but to fix due to pain I had held off long enough. Well, I got those fixed, and let's just say I can't wait to go back for more treatments! I practically fell asleep for my cavity and my wisdom teeth were taken care of without any complications!
