I walked out before I let them clean my teeth! The office was disgustingly dirty, the equipment was old and not maintained, and they had no process in place for patients. X-Rays took forever and the equipment was so old I had to basically take my own images. When I finally saw the dentist an hour after my appointment time, he came in to do a very quick exam and told to come back for a cleaning....the appointment was for a cleaning! Then of course he recommended I pay for an additional service and I left. If you can't take care of your office or your process, I'm not trusting you to work in my mouth. Absolutely fucking not! The office is very clean and organized. I love that they have texting capabilities and Briana and Saira are on top of it when it comes to scheduling appointments, follow ups and looking up your insurance and explaining what is or isn't covered and how much of it is covered. In the back room Marla and Jocelyn are very attentive assistants and know what they are doing. They made my visit more pleasant that other dentists with their kind and gentle touch and willingness to take the time to to explain what they are doing. Dr Sabet is awesome. My brother (who lives out of state) is a dentist and received specialized training for pediatrics and Dr Sabet employs some of the same simple techniques to make your visit to the dentist more pleasant. He uses plenty of oral gel anesthesia and then his injection technique really minimizes the pain and burning sensation. He took the time to explain all of the things we were doing in my mouth and gave me the why and took the time to speak to me and joke with me. He is a really great dentist with a very likable bedside manner. I highly recommend this place and Dr Sabet. read more

I had my first appointment here a few days ago. While the bad news is that I needed a crown, which I hadn't anticipated, the good news was that the entire staff made the experience a really good one. I get nervous at the dentist and have a slight issue seeing needles. They were able to get started and fit me with a temporary crown that night. Dr. Joseph gave me a heads up if a needle was coming out, explained his process every step of the way, and was so incredibly personable the whole time. I came to Orange Hill Dental because my back molar crown fell off so it was kind of urgent. I did go to my previous dentist and they told me because my tooth was small and the nerve was so close to the top of the tooth they would have to do a root canal despite the fact that there was no pain, no infection or abscess. It seemed a little extreme to me but since I am not a dentist I went to Orange Hill Dental for a second opinion and Dr. Sabet said there was no need for a root canal that he could try to save the tooth by building it up a bit and then putting on another crown. This sounded like a good plan to me because I did not want a root canal if there was not a need for one. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He got right to work and I was in and out within an hour. It turned out Great! No Root Canal! His office staff was so nice and helpful and I have already scheduled my cleaning for January. I am so thankful for Orange Hill Dental and Dr. Sabet! read more

New to Orange Hill Dental and so happy I found them! I was previously at a dentist in another county that was constantly trying to "sell" me on services I didn't need. The dentist here was honest and the hygienist was thorough. I wasn't pressured into any services and even when I stated I think I need a new mouth guard, they simply said for me to bring it in and they'd check it out, no pressure to try to sell me a new one immediately. Have been going here for a few years. I think Dr. Sabet and the other dentists are great. There is a "new" (about a year or so now) dental hygienist who has worked on me twice now and the experiences were very frustrating. The first time was sometime last year where I came in for a cleaning. The hygienist starts the cleaning, finished me off and tells me I'm good to go. Now, in my past experience, the dentist still comes by to do a visual check. When I asked if the dentist was going to check, I kid you not, her response to me was, "Oh, we're ALL dentists here." WTH. Now, I didn't think to question her anymore about this since she was a new face to me so maybe she was a dentist, maybe she wasn't. Fast forward to a few months later, I take my kids in and sure enough, my suspicion was confirmed - she's the dental hygienist, not D.D.S. A few weeks later, I come in for my cleaning and she's doing the hygienist cleaning thing. BUT, she goes on a roll listing off various things wrong with my teeth or questions me incessantly: How long have you had that crown?, Your gums are inflamed, You have receding gums, Do you grind your teeth?, What kind of toothbrush do you use?, (and the final kicker here) "I'll show you how to brush your teeth." WTH? Wow, didn't realize I had been brushing all wrong my whole life lady! First, she is completely working out of her scope of practice like she did the last time! Second, why is she going so hard, is she getting a commission for how many cavities she finds? And lastly, Dr. Sabet checked me and sent me off with not one mention of any of the issues she brought up. I have never experienced such a pushy hygienist. read more

I've always been reluctant to go to the dentist. I came to Orange Hill Dental a few years back on a recommendation and reviews. I appreciate the friendly office staff and Dr. Sabet's calm nature and minimum pain, if any in his work. Just last week my crown came off due to me eating a sticky candy. I called and luckily Dr was able to see me within 30 min to put my crown back in. Today I went in for a routine cleaning and again all office staff is very nice and welcoming down to the young lady to walk me to the back with Lupe the dental assistant. I'm one to tense up and anticipate pain but Lupe is very patient and gets the cleaning done thoroughly and in a timely manner. I was in and out of there in 30 min. Thanks again to everyone and see you at my next appt in the Fall. (Hopefully nothing happens until then but if it does I guess I'll be seeing you) read more
