I asked if they could both be seen and they scheduled the appointment for 12:30. We were taken back pretty quickly, but after the dentist saw my first child, she left. By 2pm, my second child still hadn't been seen and we had been waiting that whole time for her to come back. My kids were getting more and more restless and we finally had to leave. I explained to the front office staff that we needed to leave and would reschedule. She said that the checkups have to be scheduled an hour apart, and that the dentist has an hour from the start of the appointment time to see us. That means my first kid could be seen at 12:30 but we could be waiting until 2:30 for my second kid to be seen. Unfortunately this means we won't be able to come back and will have to look for a practice that's more kid- friendly.

Everyone is introduced to you and that will be working on your team. They're willing to answer all questions and really describe the procedure/process /future healthcare that they plan for you to give you a say, but also explain the why behind the treatment. My current Dental team has helped me. Helped me replace a infected crown from a different dentist location, Help solve a Periodontitis flare up due from previous dentist (not this chain, Tustin family Dental) improper cleaning, and Gold Coast helps me understand and take preventative measures. They explained to me that my mouth is changing once again because of my age which means an unfortunate decrease in healthy gums and showed me that because my mouth has changed, how to properly clean it. I've been sooooo happy and my teeth and gums have been so healthy since this change that I'm even convincing my husband to book here for his much needed dental care. They are also open on the weekends and work days to work with your schedule. From my initial intake meeting, getting my prescriptions and directives, going under, and the aftercare, he went above and beyond my high expectations. Dr. Yoshikane and his staff were personable, knowledgable, and easy to talk to from the start. I immediately felt comfortable during a very uneasy and fear induced and anxiety ridden time for me. I had previously gotten my first two wisdom teeth removed over thirty years ago, and the experience was so horrible that I had put off getting the last two out this long. Dr. Yoshikane answered all of my questions and explained the plan and extra plans in the event the first plans weren't working for me after the removal. After the procedure I was under constant watch and care by Dr. Yoshikane through phone messages with my husband. He contacted us for the first three days even going as far as to check on me at midnight the first day of the surgery. Seriously! My husband was impressed with the level of concern and questions that Dr. Yoshikane asked him, because it truly showed he cared about his patient's wellbeing, and wasn't just jumping through a hoop. I just left my after care appointment and everything is going great! My surgical areas are closed, the medications are all working in tandem without residual pain from the surgery.
