Was referred here by my beloved and trusted dentist when she thought a root canal might be necessary and I was more than a little nervous. I have had a lot of traumatic experiences with bad dental work, dentists who have done unecessary work to maximize their bill, you name it. But I have a dentist now that I trust and she spoke very highly of Dr. Beachler and he was able to see me immediately so I drove right over. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Dr. Beachler and his staff were thorough and kind and Dr. Beachler explained all my options to me in great detail and instead of recommending the most aggressive treatment option, he advised a conservative wait and see approach since it seemed like my problems had a chance at self resolving. I left the office knowing exactly what my options were, how much it would cost if I ended up needing further treatment, and feeling confident that I would be handled with care. Great experience. I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Beachler when I was referred for a root canal. I was experiencing pain in my tooth and went to see my regular dentist that same day (Friday). After examining me, my regular dentist referred me to Dr. Beachler for a root canal. The only issue was that it was Friday late afternoon and Dr. Beachler's office was already closed for the day. I called the number and was able to leave a message. Dr. Beachler called me back personally and scheduled my appointment for Monday morning. He also worked with my regular dentist to get me the meds I needed for the weekend. Over the phone Dr. Beachler was incredibly caring and compassionate towards me and listened to me and assessed my pain level. He was quick to take action and help me. On Monday morning I went in and Dr. Beachler for my root canal and his staff were very thorough going over everything with me; educating me on my situation. During the procedure, Dr. Beachler and his assistant kept me pain free, comfortable and communicated with me every step of the way. I was shocked that I had ZERO pain during or after the procedure for my root canal. The next day I didn't even have to take a Tylenol because I had ZERO pain. My insurance is Delta Dental and though 80% of the procedure was covered, I had to pay the entire procedure upfront and would be reimbursed directly by Delta Dental. Because of this, Dr. Beachler's staff gave me a discounted rate being that I would have to pay upfront. I thought that was very considerate of them. Overall, I am extremely happy with my visit to Dr. Beachler and have already recommended him to others at work. I will be visiting Dr. Beachler in the future if needed. Dr. Beachler must have had a bad day when when he performed a root canal procedure on me. I was referred to him by my family dentist. I had an infection in one of my upper molars. Dr. Beachler gave me two pain deadening shots for pain. In the past I have had enough pain medication to numb part of my lips. Not with this dentist. After he started the procedure I have never had more pain in my life and I have had a lot of pain in my 82 years. With all the paraphernalia that was in my mouth I could not cry out. All I could manage was to utter AHHH and squirm. He was so focused with what he was doing he ignored my outcry. After the procedure I exclaimed that I had a lot of pain. He replied that I had a lot of infection and he gave me another shot of pain medication, which had no affect. On my way out I told the receptionist that I have never had so much pain from a detal procedure. She told me to take a couple Tylenol!!! That pain has diminished over the last month but the tooth is still sensitive when I tap it with my finger nail. I was told not to chew on that side but I sometimes did and I paid for it with a sharp pain. Root canals purpose is to kill the nerves. This procedure certainly did not do that. My wife said she was shocked when I left his office. She could tell that I was in extreme pain. After two or three days she called his office and reported that I still had extreme pain. The answering person again replied for me to take a couple Tylenol. Because of this experience I would not recommend this dentist under any circumstance, period. read more

Excellent care and RCT experience. I found Dr. Beachler to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. He explained in layman's terms with x-rays the issues that brought me to his office and the options available. Then he explained the chosen procedure and kept me informed of the progress as he professionally completed it. Lastly, via x-rays he confirmed what had been done and provided closing instructions. I was referred by my dentist to this office. Wow!! What can I say. The staff was so nice and professional. The bonus at this office was Dr Beachler himself. He was very polite, soft spoken and he explained everything I wanted and needed to know. In the end, he didn't work on my tooth because he recommended me to pull it out instead of doing a root canal. I'm a cash patient and he took that into consideration. He was not only concerned with my health but my funds. Funny thing is, what ever the price was ($1300) I could have easily afford to do it. He was kind enough to take me right away (I lived only 5 minutes from his office). 2 days later I revisited for a follow up and he said I need to see an Endodontist to have the root canal. I had met Dr. Beachler 2 years ago for the same tooth and he had recommended a root canal. I had it done before by another Endodontist. The result was not pleasant and I ended up losing both of my wisdom teeth. I was very leery about getting another root canal. Dr. Beachler re-examined my tooth and scheduled a root canal the next day. For 2 hours he patiently worked on my tooth. I felt awful b/c he had to drill through my metal crown and worked on my very stubborn calcified tooth. During the surgery, he often asked me how I was doing to make sure I was comfortable and explained to me what he was doing. His gentle demeanor really puts you at ease. After the surgery, he provided me with after-care instructions and personally walked me out to the front office. He also gave me his business card with his pager # on it and said to call if there was any question. Wow, if that's not someone who cares, I don't know what you'd call it! His staff is also very friendly. Ruth, the front office administrator always has a pretty smile on her face. If you ever need an Endodontist, give Dr. Beachler's office a call. I went to Dr. Beachler for a re-treatment of a root canal that my regular dentist, Dr. Jose Lomboy, had performed. Dr. Beachler did an awesome job and found an extra canal my other dentist had missed and he discoverd one of the other canals was perforated! But before all of that, I had gone to another endodontist in Irvine for the re-treatment who told me that my tooth was cracked and it had to be extracted. He charged me $432 for those twelve minutes of his time. The lack of time he spent with me, the lack of energy spent explaining how he came to that conclusion, and my overall cynicism toward dentists now made me get a second opinion. That's when I was referred to Dr. Beachler. I am so happy I went to Dr. Beachler. He checked out my tooth, told me there was no indication it was cracked and was convinced he could save my tooth. He DID. There was an extra canal that my regular dentist missed (TWICE). Dr. Beachler found it and also fixed the perforated canal. Now I get to keep my tooth. I didn't have to have it pulled. I didn't have to spend thousands on an implant or bridge. And I didn't have to wait months getting a prosthesis put in my mouth. On top of the fact that Dr. Beachler is a skilled endodontist, his demeanor is excellent as well. He is very kind and gentle, which made me feel very comfortable. This review has been long overdue. Awhile back my son had a nasty accident involving his two front permanent teeth. It was a Sunday and there were no dentist open that we could find except for one. We took our son to that dentist and he insisted that we needed to remove my sons teeth that were cracked in half below the gum line. Since are son was 11 they said that he would have to live with a set of fake front teeth and that there was nothing else that could be done. We felt uneasy with that dentist advice, and we decided to leave the teeth in and seek another opinion. The next day we started calling dentist in the area and after hearing most say that his teeth couldn't be saved, we started to lose hope. The last call we made was another dentist that recommended Dr Beachler. They said that he had helped someone before in a similar position as our son. We quickly called Dr. Beachler and he saw my son without delay. After some x-rays and examination Dr. Beachler said that although the teeth would not necessarily survive that he could reposition them and maybe the tooth fracture could heal. We didn't even ask how much it would cost. We wanted our son to be able to keep his teeth through jr. high and high school. In total the Dr. met our son at least 7 times checking on the progress and making small adjustments. His bill for all of this was under $500.00 dollars. Our son is 16 now and still has his teeth and a great smile. When he reaches 18 we will have to make some long term decisions about his teeth, but until then we have been blessed and are truly thankful. These people are crooks. I had a root canal done here. I called before making my appointment to have them check with my insurance to see if they were in network. The office person assured me that they were. She told me that she called them and that the total out of pocket would be approx. $700 dollars. A few weeks after my procedure I receive a bill from Dr Belchers office demanding an additional $450 dollars. Apparently they were not in network so my insurance didn't cover the procedure. They took no responsibility for that over site and demanded I pay. I asked them to split the difference, after all it was their mistake not mine. They refused. I called my insurance company and they have no record of her calling them. I'm pretty sure the office lady lied when she said she called them I could have easily gone to another dentist to have the work done that was in my insurance group. But I was deceived by them and I find it hard to believe it wasn't on purpose. Because if I has made the same oversite I would have apologized to the customer and probably just have eaten the difference or split that cost. They did neither. I have a lot of friends in Anaheim Hills and Orange and you can bet they will hear about this. read more

Dr. Beachler is an excellent endodontist. I had two procedures done at his office, I believe well over 2 years ago, and waited to post to see long term results. His level of skill and communication are a 10 plus. He is also a caring person and it shows. A true professional indeed! I went in for revision on two upper quadrant molars that have been previously treated twice by a dentist. The process was a smooth sail, prior to, at least two other dentists have had great difficulty numbing this molar/premolar area and, Dr. Beachler had no such issues. His assistant is also in sync. I was so impressed I wanted to review rt following the procedure, but decided to wait at least one and half year to see long term and allow for a true quality review. I would recommend Dr. Beachler to my friends and family, he is a reflexion of quality, true quality. The anesthetic he uses is great, I generally get that week after "hang over along with the dire need to detox, not while under his treatment. I felt dignified, respected and well communicated while under his care. His sensibility,experience, skill and refined tactility are a rarity. I have a mixed review. So let's start with the good first and I'll try to wrap it up with a word of advice that will hopefully make a difference. First things first: Thank you to Michelle (aka Jackie) who provided great customer service. I had a hard time figuring out where Suite 201 was when I got there. After going crazy for a couple minutes while wandering outside trying to figure out why I can't connect the dots between Suite 200 and Suite 202 in such a poorly laid out business plaza, Jackie came out to greet me. That is very helpful and polite to do and gives a first-time customer a good impression. Customers should be valued in that way. Thanks Jackie for also understanding my dilemma in finding your Suite. Now that I know where it is I won't have a hard time finding it, should I have to return to your office. You were personable and uplifting and I am glad you were Dr. Beachler's assistant during my first root canal. Ruth, you were such a sweet heart and a great Director of First Impressions. You made me as a customer feel invited and important. That's what Customer Satisfaction and Focus is all about. And most importantly, Dr. Beachler. I hate to be one to write something negative but at the same time I have to shed this negative weight after giving it thought all day. The first impression can be ruined by a bad second impression. Today I had my first root canal. Like a lot of people, seeing any kind of doctor or dentist is nerve-wracking. What customers, especially new customers, expect and need is a gentle and inviting voice on the phone, especially the morning of her first root canal. Nerves are to be expected and anticipated by the staff. So a quick word of advice to a certain member of staff here at Dr. Beachler's office. When first-time customers call your office and they are disoriented by the senseless layout of the building and are not able to find your Suite number, have patience. It comes across in your tone when you do. Now, granted she may have had a bad day, isn't a morning person at 7:45, whatever the excuse is she's human I get it. However, the way you speak to a new customer can really break their spirit. As a Customer Service Representative I learned something so valuable today and that is that I never want to ever make a customer feel like crap just before walking in the door because it really can make or break someone's day and Customer Service is all about making people feel good. So thank you, other Michelle, for showing me how painful bad customer service can feel and how I want to strive so much harder in my role as a CSR and make sure my tone is so far from condescending and abrupt. I'm sorry if today was just a bad day for you but as the customer, that's never an excuse and now I dread having to come through Dr. Beachler's door again for the necessary follow-up even though that's months down the line. But that's the effect that lazy customer service, or having an off-day as a Customer Service Rep can have. I was able to turn my day around once I got to work by making sure I answered the phone with a bigger smile than I usually do (because they can hear your smile in your voice over the phone) and boy have I learned that by experiencing the opposite today. Michelle, I acknowledge that it is hard to be, as they say, "on" all the time for customers, but we have to be. Because we really can hurt peoples feelings just by our tone alone and that makes them feel discouraged. Even as CSR's we are human too but wow i get how much we have to put on that will to go the extra mile (Just like Jackie did today by coming and greeting me positively). I felt that your tone was very impatient when I needed help and I did communicate that to Jackie when I said to her, "boy she's impatient." That's not the voice a nervous first time customer needs to hear. Our customers can be hurt not just by our words but by our tone. Forgiveness to you for healing both ways and though it felt good to give to my customers the ultimate service today after my negative experience, and as therapeutic as that was for me, I came home still feeling hurt. read more

I was referred to see Dr. Beachler and was NOT told of his consultation fee for 15 min of his time. A brief "hey Mrs. Borra just so you know that he does charge to tell you what is wrong with your tooth" could have saved this bad review.AND I brought my X-ray of the same tooth but they INSISTED on doing another one which upped the cost to me another $31.In total I paid 192$ and NOTHING was done for my tooth.
