However, nearly two years later, I discovered that there was an additional line on the account that I was unknowingly paying for every month. When I contacted T-Mobile, I was informed that I had signed paperwork agreeing to add two lines in order to receive the second phone for almost free. As a result, I ended up paying $30 per month for this extra line and my son's line+device &32 total 62 for almost two years. The total amount paid for this line exceeded the original $699 value of the device.
