The selection is impressive--modern, unique, and thoughtfully curated without feeling overwhelming. What really stands out is the team. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy, which makes the entire experience feel elevated and easy. I've found pieces here that not only look great but actually hold up over time--solid, well-made furniture that feels worth the investment. It's the kind of place where you can walk in just browsing and leave with something you didn't even know you needed. If you're in Austin and want distinctive, high-quality pieces that last, this is absolutely a spot to check out.

At least a couple of times throughout the year this furniture store has a tent sale. I may glance into the tent if the furniture is clear visible. In full transparency, I did not know what the durability or longevity of furniture would be purchased at outlet. For clothing at an outlet, the hem could be off, button missing or another small imperfection. One would expect furniture to be durable and long lasting. Four Hands Outlet carries medium grade furniture. It appears to be foundational type furniture. There were a number of tables, chairs and sofa to peruse in the store. I will likely pop by when the tent is fully stocked. It is important to note that Four Hands Outlet has earned a number of Yelp awards. The sales representative shared her knowledge of what was going to be included in the sale, although her knowledge was limited. The furniture ranges from low to medium price range.

Now, the real star: the gluten-free baked goods. We tried four different things, cookies included, and honestly? I was stunned. The flavor, the softness, the balance, nothing felt like a "gluten-free compromise." It tasted like the real deal, maybe even better. Not overly sweet, not dry, not crumbly, just genuinely delicious pastries that happen to be gluten-free. I don't know what magic they're working in that kitchen, but this is easily the best gluten-free bakery I've come across. A must-visit, no question.

Every piece in the store appears to be intentionally curated. Maaribu melds a home and gift shop with an in house café and bakery, creating an experience that's both relaxing and memorable. According to Mable, my server, Maaribu is a combination of the word Marfa (Texas town that has the Prada store) and Malibu. The brand is often described as combining Marfa's creative spirit, Malibu's laid back lifestyle, and clean Scandinavian design. The shop portion of Maaribu is beautifully styled, featuring furniture, décor, books, and gifts that have a modern flare. All the items are easy to peruse and get drawn in. The use of color is playful and engaging. Maaribu's key highlight is its café and bakery. The in house café has an assortment of coffee, wellness beverages, and dedicated gluten free baked goods. I bought a Rose honey latte, which was divine along with a multi-layer pastry. Mable said customers enjoy the quality and flavor of the pastries...scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites are frequent favorites. Importantly, the café is reported to be fully gluten free, which makes it a standout destination for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, without sacrificing taste or variety. The outdoor seating and patio area add to the charm, making Maaribu a great place to enjoy coffee and pastries on a nice Austin morning. After years in Austin, I finally discovered Maaribu--a modern, eclectic coffee shop and store. Every item is thoughtfully curated, blending a home-and-gift shop with a café and bakery for a relaxing experience. The name combines Marfa's creative vibe, Malibu's laid-back style, and Scandinavian design. The shop offers stylish furniture, décor, books, and gifts, all easy to browse and visually engaging. Maaribu's café is fully gluten-free, featuring quality pastries like scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites, as well as wellness drinks and coffee. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!

I had no idea this location was an actual warehouse. AMAZING! Honestly, I could spend hours here and it still wouldn't be enough. I went in on a Friday night after work and there was only a handful of ppl in the store. LOVED THIS FOR ME. When I shop for anything, I just want to look around without feeling like someone is watching me, wondering why I'm taking so long, and/or asking if I need help over and over again. I love that this was not the case here. I ran into a few workers through out the store with whom I exchanged a smile and head nod but other than that, was left alone while I perused this enormous store. I stopped in originally to look at the art work and was not disappointed at all. There were so many beautiful items to look through. Everything was nicely arranged and the store was super clean. I will most definitely be back!

Truthfully, it had been a hard year and we wanted to do something that would feel cheerful. We parked and as we were walking in someone collecting carts curtly said "we're closed". I said "oh, it says you close in 15 minutes" which she replied "yeah well, they're not going to sell you anything." Cool. We brushed it off and walked in and two employees looked at us and one said "we're closed now, not enough time to shop." So we said "we were just going to look at the Christmas trees for 5 minutes" and the woman shook her head clearly frustrated. We walked over to the Christmas tree aisle and stood in silence for a beat. My husband turned and said "this doesn't feel joyful anymore". We could have used any of the following: kindness, holiday spirit, or anyone to simply stfu and keep their misery to themselves. Instead we were called out to rudely by two separate employees. You can keep your overpriced home goods and we'll happily find somewhere else to shop.
