This is my third time coming here. First two times were great. I chose this shop because it is a one person operation. And Linda paid great attention to detail. This time the owner (Linda) had her very young teenage daughter do my pedicure. I did not feel comfortable having a very young girl wearing a "I to fart" t-shirt on working on my feet. She is too young to be to have the certifications needed to be doing this job!!! She spent 25 minutes oddly scrubbing my feet with a brush and staring at a television program. It was very weird. I try very hard to support small businesses in our area and I don't blame this young girl. I blame her mom (the owner). I won't be coming back. read more

I was very excited to try this salon as a new resident in Exton. I called ahead of time to come in for a pedicure with Linda. I spoke to Linda directly who asked me when I could come in. I replied that I can be there in 10 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes later and when I walked in there was no greeting--she (Linda) just looked at me. I said hello and told her I called about the pedicure. She said "okay, pick out a color." There was one person in the salon that she was finishing a pedicure on. She had her daughter, who looked to be about 14 years old, get the pedicure station ready and I went and sat down at the prepared chair. Then her 13-14 year old daughter put on gloves as if to do my pedicure. I politely asked, "are you Linda?" but she just looked at her mom. Linda then started to speak to me extremely rudely and said she had to start me because she had to do a customer's nails. I replied that I had just called and she told me to be here in 10 minutes. Her reply was that she has said that to people in the past and they come much later than the 10 minutes, and if I didn't let her daughter begin my pedicure, I wouldn't be serviced because she would be a long time. I was very confused because she could have easily said when I called that she was closing soon and wouldn't be able to do a pedicure that day rather than having me drive all the way to the salon and then treating me rudely because I didn't want a child to do my pedicure. I looked at the one patron that was in the salon who also cringed at how rude Linda was towards me. I then again politely asked if there would be another time that would be better for me to come back, but she began rudely coming up with reasons why no day would work. I then directly asked her if she had an issue with servicing me in particular (as a woman of color), because I had been very polite and kind in my speaking with her but she was rude to me from the time I walked in. In short, I took a deep breath, removed my feet from the water, put my shoes on, and decided I would not stay in an establishment that treats anyone as rudely as I was being treated. As a paying customer, I deserve kindness and respect. I left without returning the rude energy I received, and took it as a sign that my money should be spent in a salon that treats all customers with kindness and respect. read more

Stole from me! I called the police. I paid with credit card and they told me it was $15, I asked her for the receipt and the owner started acting funny. I was extremely confused and asked her again for the receipt only to realize she charged me $23 dollars! When I questioned why they charged my card $23, she said that's the price she quoted me... thankfully the customer next to me chimed in in my defense and said "No. You clearly told her $15." I asked for a refund as they had stolen from me and the owner started yelling at me. I put 2+2 together and I realized every other time I came prior to this, they'd complain to me that I paid by credit card as they have a surcharge their business pays for. Wondering if that's why they decided to steal from me. Never go here. How are they still in business! read more

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Gel manicure on 7/23 rushed us through started to peel 9 days later and she was not willing to make right! Wanted to charge me for half assed manicure the first time and expected me to pay to repolish. I used to like this place but no longer. Will never go back and suggest no one goes there! Just awful!
