This salon is such a breath of fresh air in the area! So many nail salons I've tried aren't the cleanest, don't honor pre-made appointments, and aren't upfront about pricing. This one is the opposite of that! It is appointment only, spotlessly clean, and all prices are posted at the front. My mom is a regular here and I came for the first time yesterday with her, since I am in town for a bit. I had a great experience and love the results of my gel pedicure and dip manicure. I will definitely come here again while I am in town. The owner, Jenny, also has the cutest dog named Noodle! Puppy pets AND great service?! Definitely a win/win! read more

I have been here a couple of times. Shop appears very clean and well organized. I like the vibe of this place, very calming. Food Network and HGTV on the TVs, on mute so there isn't competing sounds. Music as well. Noodle the puppy to entertain you. Service by Jenny is professional. read more

This place is brand new and very clean. The service is excellent; came in and got served immediately. The place is very quiet too. I came here cause I was stressed after a long day of class (yes... Males can go get pampered too). Got my hands and feet done; Jenny has great hands. Very efficient with whatever she was doing (I couldn't tell you the details cause she just worked her magic). I use my hands and feet a lot for my job so they were stiff; walked out feeling like a new man. I was told that my feet toe nails needed work (I never extensively take care of my toes). Got some advice on how to properly cut them so that my nails aren't damages. Nails on feet and hand are part of the skin system so I do find it important to address them. Again, I wouldn't have thought of coming to a place like this but I was recommended by a friend. If you need to relax or to get your nails professional evaluated, I would recommend this place. read more

Pros 1) They take temperature check at the entrance 2) They Keep the place hygienic 3) The place was mostly empty so enough social distancing Cons 1) Over priced like seriously $30 for a basic pedicure which lasts barely for 20 mins. I live in Manhattan and even I haven't paid this much for such mediocre service 2) The staff is unfriendly which doesn't make this experience very relaxing 3) My friend requested for an additional service of nail filing and polish and she was rudely refused while they took another walk in client for the same. I mean it's fine if you can't accommodate last minute request but when you are in service industry a bit a polite tone hurts no one. Been here a handful of times. Not the friendliest but did a good enough job. I went today with my sister, who was born with a limb difference and only has one hand. Where all other nail salons she has been to only charge her half price (because it's half the materials and half the time), On The Nail refused and demanded full payment even after we questioned it. I will NEVER return and hope anyone reading this and decides to spend their money at a more accepting nail salon. $10 was more important than being inclusive to people with differences. read more

A friend and I went at 6:30 PM for their classic pedicures and I also got a gel manicure. Very reasonably priced with the pedicures being $30 each and the gel manicure also costing only $30. The women helping us were nice, and they had lots of nice touches in both the manicure and pedicures (massages, exfoliation, lotion, etc.). The color I selected was a little more sheer than I'd hoped, so she found another color to go under it and did two layers (both for the mani and pedi). There were only two small things I wasn't a huge fan of; During my manicure, another client came in and the woman helping me left to go service her without really saying anything to me. She had just asked me to wash my hands and when I came back she was at the front working with the new client. I was fine waiting, but felt like she could have at least said "I will go do __, and be back in five minutes" or something along those lines to let me know what the plan was. The only other thing (and both of these are minor complaints compared to how I felt overall) is that the color she selected for the bottom layer on my finger nails is a little more pink than the color on my toes. It is a super subtle difference, but I like the toe color a little more, so I wish they matched more closely. The reason behind the difference is that I did a gel manicure vs. normal toe nail polish, so they had to be different polishes. They should have had the same color (they said for all of their OPI polishes, they had both gel and regular), but it seems just one shade off. Overall though, great service for a competitive price! I am writing this review a full week later, and none of my nails are chipping or looking messed up. read more

The cleanest nail salon ive ever seen!! Its so clean and their services are ON POINT! I feel like getting your nails done here makes them last so much longer than other places! It's definitely worth EVERY PENNY! Id rather pay more for quality of their work and their cleanliness rather than going to cheap places and having them chip in a day or worse getting a infection. So I definitely recommend!!! But they do go by appointments so its a MUST to ensure quality work! read more

I've tried multiple nail salons in the Exton area. I've been here for just over a year and am so happy to have found On the Nail. I waited to write my review after a few visits to make sure the service was consistent and my nails held up. I've had both Hannah and Jenny work on my nails and they are both excellent. I always get a gel French mani and struggle to have them last. I'm a nurse so my hands are pretty beat up - lots of hand washing and hand sani. My nails also need to be kinda short. These photos are two weeks AFTER my mani. My nails still look great AND this salon is very reasonably priced. (FYI - the do not do acrylics - but they do gels and dips). read more

3 stars because my nails chipped within week one of mani. Stars are for excellent cleanliness, ease of getting in, speed, and friendliness. This place is neither here no there. I went the other day to get a gel mani pedi and the people welcomed me and I was in the chair within 5 minutes. Pedi was fine. Mani was fine too. I felt like the cuticle work could have been a little more but sometimes that's just how places are. Now it's 6 days later and I am a little hard on my hands. I wash them a lot and I'm definitely clumsy but I would say in general they don't chip for about a week. Mine unfortunately chipped within the first three days (nails done Thursday, chip noticed Saturday) so that was a little sooner. Was I too rough on my nails? I don't think so. Other than that, the place is pretty clean, space is cute, people were friendly. read more

I am so happy to find this place right next to the Exton Mall. Plenty of free parking and convenient hours. Mia and Jenny were excellent! I don't manage to get manicures very often due to work restrictions, but having a wedding as an excuse drew me to try this well reviewed new salon. Jenny listened to my color ideas based on my shoes and dress (and daughters recommendation) and came up with a great pairing of color for nails and toes. She made my beloved short nails and working hands look glamorous! Mia listened to my need to keep everything short and did an excellent job on my pedicure. I love consistency and I know I've found my new nail spot. They are opened later in the evening as well to accommodate working clients. Jenny and Jane are the sweetest, most great ladies to get your nails done by! I use to go to the same place again and again while living in DC and now that I have moved back to this area, they will be my go-to nail artists! The salon itself is decorated so cute (which Jenny's boyfriend put together - wow where do I find a boyfriend that understands decor so well?) and they always have a relaxing vibe to the place, including through music. They make you feel welcomed into the nail salon and have always taken their time with my service. They are enjoyable to both talk to or just zone out from a long day or when needing time to self-care. One star deducted only because I love love using powder/dip for my nails over gel these days, but for some reason their dipping powder only last 7 days before two nails chipped :( For the price of this service, I'd have expected my nails to last at least a couple/few weeks. read more

Don't go for eyebrows. They put on the wax, they don't bother with shaping with tweezers after the was for a nice finish, especially Mia. I was told they didn't want to mess up my makeup. My $30 pedicure was less than 20 minutes. The first time I was in was very nice, the 2nd was just rushed. There are better places for the same price. Came here for the first time . I go usually to Pampering Nail Parlour in Paoli but this was closer and I just needed a regular mani today so I decided to give it a go looking at all positive reviews. I give 2 stars for cleanliness and overall ambience. Service is lacking and it's very overpriced for what you get. No soaking at all, 10 sec cutting cuticles, 30 sec massage each hand. I unfortunately picked up my purse while moving to drying area ( as nobody cared to help as usually done) and smeared one of my nails a bit. It was "lazy" attempt to fix and I had to remind to put a second coat so it looks half decent. Overall, mediocre manicure, underwhelmed customer service and overpriced tag. They surely didn't care if they'd get a new customer. Won't come back. read more

This was one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten. Very professional, very clean. I got a hot stone massage, paraffin wax, and massage. The atmosphere is chic, and the chairs are new and most importantly, very clean. I found the price to be very fair for everything I got, but they do have three levels of pedicure so it can be budget friendly. They stock OPI polish, which is my favorite brand. Mia was wonderful w/ my damaged, arthritic toes. I indulged in the Silver Pedicure which was just what the doctor ordered! The included paraffin did wonders for my dry cracked heels. The massage & other perks were delightful. Mia was excellent. I mentioned about my several foot surgeries & she was gentle as well as thorough.
