I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience here. I went for a French manicure and in the first steps of cleaning up my nail, the lady cut me so badly it was bleeding the entire time I was there. I went to wash my hand and apply pressure and she urged me back to the seat to continue even though I asked if it was safe to even continue on. She was mixing my BLOOD in the nail polish and supplies she had. Still charged me. I left crying and will not be returning to this unsanitary place. read more

Came in here for a pedicure at about 11am on a Wednesday (yesterday). Everything was going fine until he began cutting the cuticle from my left big toe. It HURT and I said so. He continued to cut the entire thing off- I'm surprised it didn't bleed. Why this is necessary I don't know. Parts of your toenail are meant to protect it and shouldn't be cut off. Right after it was removed (painfully)- I had a bad feeling. Last night I couldn't sleep because the pain was so bad. Throbbing. My left big toe is warm, swollen, red, and so tender. I'm hoping it doesn't become infected. It actually hurts to walk. Pain relievers and ice are the only thing bringing me slight relief. I will most definitely not be coming back here. Awful experience! They do not honor appointments and just take whoever they want when they wants regulars, I was flagged going to my pedicure and a 'regular' was put in my place. The lady lied and said- he has to clean his station but then they let the lady that just walked in go back. I said- I have an appointment- she said just few more mins. By this time, it was 11:20 - my appointment was 11 am. Not to mention it was dirty and the bathrooms disgusting. Just don't do it! Yuck! read more

My experience was different than many so far. Look at other reviews and more than not, it averages about 3-3.5. This was a solid 4.5 to 5.0. I called ahead and asked if available, drove and got there about 30-40 minutes later, they got very busy in between, we waited a few minutes and Granddaughter was seated for Pedicure, the lady did an excellent job on granddaughters feet, did an excellent job and when she finished I asked if I could have same tomorrow, she said yes, or you could get it done now. She again did an excellent job. They may be short staffed and that may be the issue, don't know about why others had bad experiences... I rarely give out 5.0 but when excellent service is encountered, I do not have an issue giving it out.... Prices were reasonable and appropriate. If not busy, try this place out, see if you like it... read more

Absolutely the worst manicure. Nail tech had a cold, and was coughing, sneezing and wiping her nose throughout my manicure. A small child, presumably a staff member's son, was playing on a rolling chair & continuously bumping into the nail tech's chair. Before I left the salon, the polish was peeling and gummy. I asked for it to be redone, but the tech insisted it be painted over...even adding more color coats over the topcoat! I asked for my money back but was told no. I came here last night with my daughter - we recently moved to the area from D.C. and decided to stop in for quick manis. I got a gel French and she stuck with a pink manicure with sparkles on the ring fingers. When we first walked in, we were greeted and escorted to our seats. The place was clean and the staff was initially friendly. To be blunt, I could have done a better job at home on my own nails. The woman who did my nail filed them down unevenly and rounded the tips, when I specifically said I keep them squared. I maintain my nails daily - file, shorten when they get too long, keep them clean, etc. The white tips she painted on are so awful and uneven, and the edges of my nails are rough! How does that happen? It seriously looks like I let my daughter do them - she's 9 but probably would have even done a better job. I have never had such a poor experience in my entire life. Moving on to the woman who was painting my daughter's nails - I went to wash my hands about 3 minutes into my manicure, and saw the woman ON HER CELL PHONE chatting away. She didn't say a single word to my daughter the entire time. Now, maybe I am being unreasonable, but I don't think it's polite to sit and ignore paying customers - REGARDLESS of language barriers and the fact that she is 9. Maybe I am too pretentious, maybe my expectations are too high coming from D.C., but I was appalled. The salon we used to go to would chat with her, ask about school, ask about her interests and friends, etc. Now, my daughter's nails looked nice, because honestly it's not that difficult to paint little nails pink with sparkles. But that was the only good thing about the entire visit. We will NOT be coming back to this place... even though the price for my gel French was significantly less than I would have paid back home where I am from. I've gone here a couple times on my lunch break and they've always be able to get me in and out. However i went to get my eyebrows done and it seems that the only one that could do eyebrows was doing a pedicure at the moment. So she stopped doing the pedicure to do my wax and I watched her go all the way into the room and motion me to follow with out washing her hands. Directly from touching someone else's feet to doing a wax. I had to ask her if she could wash her hands before touching my face. She only had one glove on and was touching another person feet with her bare hands. I will not be going back there anymore. read more

Never again. The worst mani pedi ever. I paid 75 for what? They painted on my french tips instead of dipping which I get at my regular salon. the paint was thick and gummy started to bubble before I even left. I was there on Sunday it is now Tuesday and it's peeling. Feet look horrible globs of paint underneath the top coat. With all that being said the place seemed pretty clean and they were nice. Nail tech practically scrubbed my skin off. I don't know how clean their tools are because they were sitting in a plastic container on the table next to me when I got there. There was a dried up orange peel that looked like it'd been there for days laying on top of a stack of magazines and another employee was giving herself a pedicure in the seat next to me. If i could give them 0 stars i would. I have just recently gotten my eyebrows done and gotten my skin ripped off of my face. The wax was very hot and was not well kept. The lady put the wax all over my right eyelid and ripped off the tape causing my skin to literally rip off which was very painful. My left eye has a huge burn on it from the wax. I can see how one's eyelid may be a little red after but the day after, my eye was swollen shut and burnt. It was painful to touch. Today which is two days after, it is so dry and looks like it is cracking. It is purple all over and nothing is helping. So overall, do not go to La nails. Their nail job isn't the best either. Just left this place and paid $50 for a gel pedicure. Not even a spa pedicure. After they did the pedicure and tried to pressure my sister- in-law and I into manicures to the point where I had to be firm, they told me it was $25 for the pedicure and $25 for the gel polish. If I had wanted a $50 pedicure I would have gone to a spa and gotten a spa pedicure. I pointed to the menu of services and asked them where they saw $25 for gel polish. They couldn't answer. I paid and left without leaving a tip. I've never left a restaurant or salon without leaving a tip. Ever. I've gotten gel pedicures all over the Main Line and never paid $50, except in a spa. I've been going to this establishment since I moved to the area 2 years ago, out of convenience, as I live around the corner..I've never been truly happy, but convenience was the main factor.. however, today was my breaking point.. While picking out a color, it was obvious that they water down their polishes..they ball inside shouldn't shake as fluidly as it did in several polishes. DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!!!!! I really wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I got a gel manicure for $35 and it looks like I've had them for a week and a half. The guy who did them didn't get anywhere near my cuticle and they look soooo grown out. Here's the kicker- I went back the next day and they were closed. The sign said they were open until 7 and I got there at 6:20 and the store was empty and pitch dark. I went in a day later and told them what happened and that I would need to return a different day because I was busy. I simply wanted to let them know before it was several days later. I didn't get an apology I didn't get offered to have my money back. If anything he made it seem like MY fault. He told me to come back the next day and I did. I got there at 6:15 pm after work and THE STORE WAS CLOSED AGAIN!!!!!!!!! But the front door CLEARLY says they're open until 7 pm! I just want my nails completely redone or my money back!
