I'd rather pay more at a different salon, with the customer service they have here, a lady was doing my nails and in the middle got up and helped another person. I asked what was going on and ignored me instead. I was going to walk out and they were trying to make my pay even though she only did 3 of my nails and I waited 15 after for nothing. A half assed job and they wanted me to pay, no thank you. read more

Sunrise Nails is the ONLY place I will go to get my nails done anymore. Before I went here I would jump around town to try to find where the best prices and quality service was. But this is it. They have excellent prices for what they do, the pedicures are amazing. If you want acrylic nails, ask for Becky. She does my nails exactly how I want them every time. The only flaw is that they can only accept cash tips, so just be sure to bring a $5 bill with you if you plan to pay with a card. read more

I haven't actually had any services done here so I cannot speak to the quality of work. However, I walked in today with an appointment, and waited for 20 minutes before I got up and left. As I was leaving, 2 people came to me and offered to start my nails so that I would stay. Not acceptable. I called and was told to come at a specific time and when I got there, not a single technician was available. I understand that Friday evenings are busy, but if someone makes an appointment, they should be helped before walk-ins. I was on a lunch break from work, so I am annoyed that I sat there waiting for so long. I was recommended by a friend, and sadly I have to say I won't be back. read more

Randomly found this place on my way to REI. Friday afternoon was perfect to pop right in with no wait. I was seated immeditly. First of all the chairs are amazing (there's a butt massager) and the actual pedi was perfect. I haven't had that good of a leg massage in awhile. For the cost of only $23 you can't go wrong. The only downside, and it was all my fault, is I put my shoes on too soon after and now need to go back to fix it :( read more

After several times I don't think I will ever go back. Each time I have been rushed through so fast and out the door, that my nails were still wet, and the next day the polish looks almost 2 tone because all 4 layers were put on so fast there was no drying time in between. I have been going to Sunrise Nails regularly for a few years. I have always been pleased with the service I receive!

45 for a full set and 5 more for tip and being a nail tec myself I noticed they are not up to standards they are using dirty files and buffers dirty bits and the nail tec I had rushed through me to get his next client also it wasn't what I wanted after I showed him a picture and he said he could do it I only went for the experience of letting another salon do my nails and never again I'll try and post a picture of them as well I forgot to mention he didn't do cuticle work and I'm pretty sure he charged me for nail art and I brought my own glitter to use. read more

Mani/pedi was super cheap and they did a great job... really took the time to make sure everything was perfect with my nails. The basic pedicure includes a hot some massage and it actually lasted longer than those hot minutes you get at other places! All for under 40 with tip... Idk how this place isn't crazy busy. A GREAT find. As a businessman, appearance is important, and the $$$ is in the details, yes including your finger nails in close-up presentations. As a visitor to Minnesota, finding a good nail salon that values a gentlemen's business as well as the ladies proved to be frustrating. Not so when I walked in the door at Sunrise Nails. As a walk-in, I was greeted immediately and with-in a few minutes seated with my fingers soaking in a bowl of soapy water. The manicurist had a great attitude, and worked her magic with a little chit-chat and a smile. The owner came up and offered a bottle of water while I was sitting there. That was a nice touch, as it was a hot day. The place is clean, comfortable and fairly priced. A special note to the manly men of Minnesota. Treat yourself. Take my word for it, a man who takes care of himself attracts the fine ladies of the land like a magnet. read more

Please, staff, learn how to address customers politely. "Choose color!" "You sit!" The words "please" and "thank you" would have gone a long way. I got a pedi for $25, but the skin on my feet is still dry and rough. They charged me only $10 for a mani, which I can't figure out, but the polish was applied hastily and cuticles were not pushed back. I had made the appointment for both services, but think I just got some kind of speedy quasi-manicure. No communication or explanation. I had to remove the fingernail polish as soon as I got home. I am surprised this seems to be a highly-rated salon. I might as well have had a half-competent robot do the work. Awful and offensive. read more

This is literally the worst nail shop I've ever been to. If I could give it 0 stars I would've. The employees are ridiculously rude and do things based off what they feel like! The lady cut my skin on about 4 fingers and didn't even care!!!! She kept going and wiped the blood off with her bare fingers! I asked for coffin nails and she gave short hideous square nails and then told me she would charge me $10 extra to fix what she messed up. I had tears of anger in my eyes when paying and the lady still asked me to tip her. Not to mention they charge $28 for a basic acrylic set!!!! Been to a number of different nail salons numerous times and the pedicures and what came with them were different each time. Professionals were courteous and friendly and paid attention to detail. I've been here twice now and the first experience was perfectly acceptable given the convenient location and low price. The second time was the worse mani/pedi experience I have ever had in my life. The pedicure was rushed and literally painful. She globbed the nail polish on so thick it dripped down my toes, it never dried and the pedicure was a complete waste. I had to get a polish change at another salon that night. The manicure was also rushed and she cut two cuticles until they bled. She did not do a good job filing my nails and the polish had to be removed too. I paid with a credit card and included a tip (yes, I still tipped her) but after she ran it she complained three times that I did not tip her in cash! She was lucky she got a tip in the first place and I will never go back there again. read more

Got a mani/pedi here - made an appointment beforehand. Very satisfied with the pedi. Relaxing hot stone massage, and technician did a great job shaping my toenails with a gentle cuticle clean-up just the way I like it. The polish still looks great and it's been a few weeks. Use the coupons on their website - only limited to one at a time though. The reason I'm only giving this 3 stars is because the technician was so aggressive with pushing back and cutting the cuticles around my fingernails that some of them bled and all of them grew back ragged so I was doing damage control at home with my own cuticle remover for weeks! And this is coming from someone who normally has very healthy cuticles that always grew back nicely after my other manis. The gel mani started to chip slightly after 1 and a half weeks, and most of mine last over 3 weeks, so I was not impressed. read more

I love Sunrise nails. They are so accommodating and friendly. I went in on Monday to get a pedicure and a much needed fill. I was told I could get sat right away and while walking to the pedicure chair, I dropped a nail polish bottle and it shattered all over the floor. I was completely mortified and felt terrible but the staff were so lovely to me saying it wasn't a problem and it happened all the time and to just sit down and relax. They made me feel very comfortable. They also offer you a complimentary beverage when you sit down which is nice I got the deluxe pedicure and my fill. Note: They do prefer that you tip in cash. I luckily had enough cash to appropriately tip during my visit. I have been recommending them to all of my friends after what a great job they did :) read more

I've always liked this place, they done "shave" calluses, they buff them which is much better for your calluses and more sanitary as well.

They took their time and did a fantastic job on my gel manicure. All for only $25! Definitely will return!

I've been going to sunrise for awhile and many have told me that they aren't good but continued. I came in for prom with an appointment was a bit late due to an accident. My pedicure was amazing and everything ran smoothly until I got to my acrylic nails. I waited a long time to even get to my nails done but I brushed that off and still proceeded. The women who did my nails but the fake nail on crooked and I told her and she said it'll shape out with the acrylic. I let her continue because she is license and probably knows better than me. As she puts the acrylic on I notice it still is crooked and mention it to her and she ignores me. I also mentioned it again and she asks me how to fix it and I say I'm not sure but I know it shouldn't look this way. I could see they were busy so I left it alone because nothing was fixed. I also noticed my nails are too thick, crooked and a bad polish. I have heard this before but it never happened to me but I do not think I will come back. Not to mention I was in the salon for four hours compared to the normal 1-2 hours. read more

Before Sunrise I went to a "nail artist" downtown; Sunrise does a better job, has more selection, is easier to schedule and less expensive. I've been to a few different nail salons between Richfield and Edina. This one has the best service and fantastic prices. A pedicure with sugar scrub and hot stone massage was $31. ($26 for pedicure with massage) I enjoy it more than going to a spa- its a treat to come here! read more
