The salon is really cute--nicely decorated, spacious, and very inviting when you walk in. I loved the vibe and how comfortable the space felt. I came in on a Monday night, so it wasn't busy, and I was able to get seated right away. The pedicure chairs were comfortable, and I enjoyed the massage feature while soaking my feet in the hot, bubbly water. I asked for shellac/gel French tips, and the tech brought over the color basket. The pedicure itself was just okay. She didn't spend much time on the basics like callus removal or a calf massage, but the French tips turned out nicely. I was actually impressed that she painted the white by hand instead of shaping with remover. After the pedi, I was moved to the nail desk for my manicure with the same gel French tips. The time spent felt about the same, pretty quick and without a hand massage, but again, the finished look was clean and well done. The hand-painted tips were a nice touch. Overall, the staff was very nice, and the salon itself is adorable. It was a decent experience with room for a little more attention to detail. read more

I needed something new in my routine and I came to this nail shop in mid April hoping to find a place that I'd be able to get bi weekly services. I visited back in October of 2025 and for a pedicure that was decent. This time around I opted for a gel manicure and pedicure during my visit. The woman who did my nails was very nice and I enjoyed the my appointment until the end of my service. I have never had a gel manicure where the nail tech filed and shaped gel nails after she was done putting on the gel polish. I wasn't expecting her to do this so I wasn't able to stop her but I wish I would've because my nails stayed lifting the same day! Truthfully I don't typically get my polish done on my natural nails but I asked a friend of mine who does and she was taken aback by the fact that the nail tech filed my nails. That night I even wore gloves in the shower bc I was scared they'd peel right off. And ofc the very next day I had two fingers chipped very badly. I decided to go back to the salon three days later when they opened so that they could rectify the situation. This was no usual wear and tear and I was disappointed with their lack of accountability for the fact that my nails were not done properly. I was also disappointed because I had to pay for the new service since the owner only offered me $5 off. I was in desperate need so I went ahead and paid the $40 since I had an event that same day. I couldn't help but walk away feeling like I'd been conned out of my money. I didn't want to get in any arguments which is why I paid for the service but I will not be returning to an establishment that wastes my time and my money. Requested builder gel mani and a gel pedicure. The pedicure wasn't bad at all. It was relaxing and the lady did a great job. My mani was done by an owner and it was horrible. I never complain when I get my nails done but I had to ask her to fix my nails 3 times before I gave up. I was the only person there and spent over 3 hours there. Unlike most of nail salons I tried elsewhere, I actually was able to chat with the ladies there and enjoyed the conversation. They do speak English well! I got dip nails and love how they turned out. They are so so sweet here-- I had some trouble finding it and she helped me over the phone! They immediately offered me a water bottle and at the end, dipped my hands in some hot wax which felt amazing. It was a little pricy to have a design done, so I just got simple dip nails and the price is super reasonable. The salon was a bit difficult to find because I am not from here, but honestly, It is in a great spot. Close to all bus stops. The salon is inside the plaza and it is so quiet and calm inside. The nail salon is light and friendly. The nail artists great you and ask if you would like some water. The girls are very fast and so kind. They also have a huge variety of colors. I have done acrylic dip, as always. My nails are still strong and in amazing shape after 3 weeks. The nails are light and even, not chunky or bumpy or heavy at all. The price is high but the speed and quality is worth it. The nail artist also did a freestyle on my nails according to her, but the picture I showed her and the design she did are almost the same. I called and they said I could come in and they'd look at them but when I said I lived out of town and wanted a refund (I could provide pics, etc.), they said they did not do refunds at all. The weird thing was is that I had gel polish on my toes that was growing out and a lot of the toes didn't have polish and I think it was only two full toes and then two of my toes had like half the toenail with gel. And she charged me five dollars to remove the gel as I am getting a very expensive pedicure and gel manicure. It was just really poor business. And the salon was OK but it certainly wasn't the cleanest. And like I said the service was OK I got an adequate manicure and an adequate pedicure. I recommended Nail Cops to a friend. She went in to get dip polish and picked out one of the only nude colors they offered in that kind of polish. She discovered that night that it was a glow in the dark color, which no one told her. She would have never picked that if she knew it glowed in the dark. She went back the next day to get it fixed, and I joined her to get my nails done too. They tried grinding off the top coat but they continued to glow in the dark, so she asked to have them completely removed and for her money back because after 2 hours on 2 separate lunch breaks, she didn't want to come back for a third time for Nail Cops to MAYBE get it right after yet another hour or so. They REFUSED to refund her, so she spent $45 and 2 hours to have her nails done and then removed. Whatever. The WORST PART is that the second she left, my nail tech and the one next to me, proceeded to blame her for the whole thing, speaking negatively about her (they even knew she is my friend) to myself and another guest we don't know. My nail tech rushed through the rest of my service and my nails look like I painted them.... which is not a good thing. I told them that it is extremely unprofessional to speak negatively about a customer to their other guests, but no one apologized. Staying at the Raddison and they are very close! I called and they were not busy. I wanted an acrylic fill with gel color and it was reasonable $30. That is good since elsewhere was like $40. The girl did a great job and we decided on a mood changing color haha. I liked it!! Deep purple when outside in cold the cuticle area turned blue!! Kewl! I attached a picture if u look close. Convenient spot downtown to get your nails done but not the highest quality job. I work downtown so I've occasionally gotten a gel mani over my lunch hour but for some reason my manicures from Nail Cops have never lasted as long as when I've gotten them done elsewhere. Four of us went in for pedicures. We only had an appointment for three (my daughter decided to come at the last minute. They accommodated us, although one of us sat with feet in the water until everyone else was done. They did a very nice job. I didn't give them five stars because I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the whole salon. A little tip if you go here: go to the bathroom first! I am not pleased with my last experience at Nail Cops, and I have been a customer that goes on average 1x every 3 weeks. My nail artist persistently pushed upgrades, which I can forgive because most nail salons use this tactic. What I am most upset about is that at the end when I asked to add a tip on to my card, and she asked me to go to the ATM to get cash. As I previously mentioned, I am a loyal customer and I know you can add a tip on to the card. Because I know there are fees, taxes, etc. I usually tip 25-30% when I don't have cash. However, she refused to let me tip and again insisted I go to the ATM. I said I do not want to pay ATM fees to both the ATM and my bank, but she held firm. I eventually gave in and went to the ATM. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Nail salons are a dime a dozen and there are many other options. It isn't like they this place does an exceptional job and I can't live without their work. read more

They had a dirty carpet and it didn't seem like any of their stations had been cleaned in a while. They took tools out of their pockets and drawers and not out of sterilized, sealed containers. They tried to aggressively up-sell me on their manicures and pedicures, and when I agreed to the second tier of their services, they went ahead and did the top tier services and proceeded to charge me as such. Place was not the fanciest "spa" atmosphere but it's what you would expect from a quickie nail place. Clean utensils. Clean foot basins. Nice hot wax treatment for manicure.
