Sunrise kitchen has good food but watch your credit card bill. I just went there and my bill was $15.50. I signed the reciept for carry out, crosed out the tip spot on the reciept and wrote the total in $15.50. I put a cash tip in the tip jar. My family and I used to love this place ! New owners have taken over and the food is awful and tasteless. We have tried three times since the new people took over and it's awful each time. Was hoping they would improve and gave them a few months but after tonight's meal it's time to look for a new Chinese place. read more

HORRIBLE. i've tried this 3 xs now. the first time they said 45 minuted delivery and it was OVER two hours. and they forgot some of my stuff. the second time again over an hour and a half when they said 45 min. They third time the brought the wrong food i called back while the lady continued to argue with me about what I ordered as if i suddenly ordered something i would never eat when i get the same thing from any Chinese takeout. proceeded to yell at co workers about me! in another language while still on the phone. then said she bring it back because someone above her old he she had to and what do you know they never showed up or answered my calls again. Horrible experience!!! I wanted Chinese SOOOO bad for weeks! I finally could afford it - but it was Monday, and Chens Garden ( best chinese in area, was closed ) So, we thought to try here. My shrimp w/ lobster sauce was very disappointing! The fried rice was VERY salty (thank goodness I didnt add soy before tasting) It honestly looked like those cheap Knorr packets ya get at the grocery. The shrimp (the whole 6!) tasted like dirt. Not what it used to be. I have ordered from them since they opened. They used to offer good food at good prices. I read somewhere that new owners had taken over. The food has become absolutely terrible. Food is often undercooked. The last time I ordered Fried Rice, it was white with peas in it. I am no longer a regular customer and am not sure if I will give them one last chance. Too bad. It used to be my go to for Chinese. read more

tried their new on-line ordering and at the end it said I would get an email confirmation. never got a confirmation so I called to see how long it would take. I was told 45 minutes. an hour later I called and was told it was on the way. almost 45 minutes later I got cold food delivered. We called and complained only to be argues with saying it was just made less than 15 minutes prior so their was no way it was cold.....we were wrong. So which time did he lie? ...when he said it was on the way or when he said their was no way it could be cold. Almost 2 hours for cold food and no sorry or accountability by the restaurant. I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I have been going here for a couple of years now, since they opened. I have always had pretty good customer service, and the food has been great tasting. I also like that they deliver, and that is usually how I place my order. However, yesterday (November 4, 2014) I placed an order for a large Hot and Sour Soup, 4 egg rolls, and an order of crab meat and cheese wontons. I got my food on time and took it home, however when I got home they had given me a Wonton Soup instead of Hot and Sour soup. This has happened a few times in the past when my family has ordered here, and usually they will correct the problem at no expense to me. Sometimes they will even deliver it so you don't have to go back out. However, this time, when I called, a man answered and said that the lady who took my order wasn't there, and so he couldn't verify if I was telling the truth or not, and then quickly hung up on me. I tried calling again, he said I told you there is nothing I can do for you then hung up. I tried called two more times, each time when he heard it was me on the phone, he hung up. My sister attempted to call, and got the same treatment. The last time I called, he was very rude to me and lied to me. He told me there was no one else in the restaurant I could talk to. I said "So if I drive down there right now, I will see no one but you right? " He said you threatening to drive down here now, go ahead and do it. So I did. When I got there, he laughed in my face, telling me I would not get the right soup, that it was my fault the order was placed incorrectly, and that I needed to deal with it. He also said, a lady your size, doesn't need that soup anyways. He then called the woman who placed my order, and asked her what I had placed. She insisted I said Wonton soup. I explained that I go here often, I never order the Wonton soup, and since they are the same price I would like them to switch out the soups. He again laughed at me and said I would have to wait until the women got here. He then added "Go sit down B****" I couldn't believe what he had just said, and after commenting that he needs to learn some manners, I sat down to wait. When the nice "white" man came in the restaurant, he promptly asked me why I was upset. I explained the situation to him, and after condemning the nasty man for his behavior, switched out my soups. I cant believe a place that I have been going to for so long, was so rude to me. I think his behavior should get him fired, and I will not be going back with my family or friends, until he is gone. I had been going here since they first opened, never an issue- everything on the menu was always great! With in the last year every time I would order the meat would be overcooked , food is bland, rice seemed dry - i'm not sure if they have a new cook or owners but I have not been back. read more

Easily ordered online and my food came earlier than expected. Everything tasted great and I'll be ordering again.

First time ordering from them. Called in my order for pickup after work yesterday. Arrived about 10 minutes early...good news food was already ready...bad news is that it was already packed up in bag. I had ordered sweet and sour book combo with fried rice and egg roll, shrimp chips, and an extra shrimp egg roll. Took home, everything was practically cold except for my sauce. Rice was so bland it might as well have been white rice, egg roll was soggy, shrimp egg roll had no discernible shrimp in it, and the shrimp chips were totally inedible. They were all brown on the edges, smelled bad and tasted even worse like the grease had gone bad. Guess I will never try this place again. read more
