Genuinely one of the best places I have ever been. The steak was absolutely phenomenal. Not to mention the lobster sliders were so good and fresh. Our server Desiree was just amazing, really welcoming and genuinely made my boyfriend's birthday special. The best service I've ever had. I will definitely be back!

Made a res for party of 3 two weeks out. The deposit fee is a little goofy and I don't get the point but it does come off your bill total We are fans of the Farmers Rail and PitchFork and we're excited to try this new concept! It did NOT disappoint! The experience of going through TFR down the steps to a door and into a cozy sexy dark and beautiful restaurant set the tone all the bat. Felt like well kept secret The staff is friendly and helpful. She let us know she would keep us at a relaxed pace ans I appreciate that heads up. We could have adjusted if we wanted but we enjoy our company and savor every single course Cocktails list was creative and clever one was happy to see a cool mocktails list! The menu is not too big to overwhelm but has plenty of variety to make it hard to choose! We enjoyed crab claws, Brussels and Cajun shrimp dip. Fabulous shareable portions 1/2 salads and the rare opportunity for a soup too! Loved the Breads. Fresh made cherry herb bread for the table Entrees were steak, braised beef pierogies, pasta and TFR burger. The steak was fork tender (filet) and prepared on point! Dessert had 3-4 items all tempting. I chose the choc torte which is like a think fudge brownie This space is beautiful. Cozy and romantic. Special without being snobby Can't wait to go back

Hubby planned a birthday/anniversary evening which started with dinner here. The restaurant is downstairs and is very dark, which gives its a seductive feel. We were promptly greeted by our server, who's gave us a rundown of the drink specials, gave us a few moment to figure out what we wanted to drink, came back took our drink order then reviewed the food specials. For drinks I did the key lime martini which was dessert in a glass, hubby did the old fashioned which was delicious. I had a glass of the super Tuscan with my meal. I ordered the strip steak with whipped potatoes and did a peppercorn crust, the steak was cooked perfectly! Hubby ordered the braised beef and pierogis. That was also good, but was very salty. He said he wouldn't order it again due to the salt, but other than that it was good. Overall it's a nice place for a good meal without being overly expensive and it's a cool vibe. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had such a fun night here! We shared the kimchi cauliflower, ahi tuna wonton nachos, and the carrot cake, and everything was fabulous, packed with flavor, and just the right size for sharing. By the time we finished, we were way too full for entrees... so now we definitely have to come back to try more. We went with a bottle of wine from their awesome selection (the cocktails looked fabulous too!) and it paired perfectly with the food. We were tucked into a little semi-private booth area that felt cozy and comfortable, and it was quiet enough to actually hear each other without shouting...such a nice change from most places. Between the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks, it was a really fun, relaxed night out. We'll absolutely be back! ****Pro Tip: go inside the Farmers Rail. They'll take you downstairs to Amelia's.

I LOVE the vibes of this place. Ambiance is on point - really one of the best restaurants I've been to in years for aesthetic, service and variety on the menu - truly something for everyone. The food was pretty great as well! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because two of the entrees were a little under and over seasoned respectively (salmon and porkchop). Nothing that we would complain over and would not prevent us from returning, just a little less than advertised on one side and a little intense and too much on the other. Apps were the winners for the meal, along with a solid wine list and great atmosphere. Enjoy this place if you can get a res - it's a hot commodity!

The atmosphere here is very moody and chill. My husband and the couple we went with felt very relaxed even before drinking our boozy cocktails. Be aware though, there are some nude photos in the bathrooms, which depending on who you are, could be a good thing or catch you off guard. Everyone liked/really enjoyed their cocktails except for me. The bar tender who made our drinks was very friendly and put a lot of effort into them. I ordered a drink I don't typically get, so it's possible it was a good drink and it just wasn't for me. The real star of the show was the shrimp appetizer. This is a must order item! I can't recall having shrimp that has tasted so delicious!

They have a taco Tuesday thing but it's not a discount it's 3 tacos and you can mix and match from what they make. Which is not really a special in my opinion. The place has a nice patio and inside can fit an about 10 tables of various sizes. And the bar has seating. Cute place. I see it can get crowded on a Friday night or Saturday night. We got the green bean app for the table. They are cooked perfectly with teriyaki glaze and some tempura but not a lot. They have a sauce that has a bit of a kick but not bad. These are good and good to share. Good portion. I ordered the steak and gruyere sandwich and chips. Sandwich was good. Not big but very flavorful and good. Would have liked a bigger banquette for the sandwich. Ok amount of meat. It was good. The chip side was very crunch and good amount. But to me the chips were a bit greasy tasting. Needed more salt and a bit of flavor. It was a ok meal. The friend that suggested the restaurant got the Ohio burger. It was huge. She cut it into 4's and only ate half. It was big! She also got the chips. Again chips were ok just a bit oily tasting and need salt. The dining area is loud. Lots of people in close proximity talking. It's hard to hear and sound is bouncing. That was a bit of a bummer to try and talk over all the noise. Server was good very attentive and helped with suggestions. Bill for 3 sandwiches, including a burger, a water, coke and cider with green beans appetizer was $81. Not including tip.

Never rushed us, explained all their evening features from appetizers, dinners and desserts. The menu covers all that you can possibly desire. Angus steaks, fresh and overly portioned seafood, to delicious pastas. We all ordered a wide variety of meals. The SURF, SURF AND SURF was amazing . So were the SHORT RIBS. I had the twin bone PORK CHOP. Huge, flavorful and never disappoints. Almost forgot, the smokey bourbon old fashions, created right at the table. We got the tour after dinner by Jess, the manager. She shiowed us all the attributes to this Akron gem. The Barrell dining room, the Vault, Screen Suites, the Coat Room lounge and adjoining Parlor room. Then even the new Culinary room where they have classes on how to cook various dishes at scheduled times taught by a Chef. If you are any where near Akron, this is a must try. The food. The food is very good. We tried three different wing flavors. The house made buffalo, the Thai chili, and the citrus jerk wings. They fell off the bone and were delicious. I would have to say the best wings I've had, these really did stand out, and would say they are worth trying. They are a bit pricier than other places wings, but the flavor is there. What we really came here for was the burger, we've been trying every place that the Akron Beacon Journal did a tournament for to determine our own favorite, without nostalgia influencing our decisions. The burger was fantastic. The meat is seasoned well and the bread was soft and fluffy. The sauce tasted homemade and unique, but didn't take away from the burger. The pickles on it as well are homemade or made from a company nearby, but they're also very good and different than any you get at the store. I will definitely be back. This was very good on a day where we stopped at 3 places and this happened to be the last.

We order the Ribeye cut because they are usually more tender, easy to cut and don't require endless chewing. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience last night. Both steaks done "well" with some pink, required heavy cutting and chewing. Neither one had much flavor. I also ordered the loaded baked potato. Because of the small size there wasn't much room to put anything but butter on it. My wife got potato soup for her side and had to pay a $2.99 (money grab) up charge. At least it tasted good. Probably the best food item we got was the warm bread with butter. We paid $29.29 for each steak which was way overpriced for what we got. The meal was definitely not worth what we paid for it. What a disappointment. I guess if we want a good steak dinner, we will just have to cook it on our grill at home.
