This place is very close to where my BF lives so it's a convenient option for us. I was surprised at how authentic it was! With a name like Asian Cravings, I didn't really know what to expect but I had a good time. They had a few selections from Chinese to Thai to Vietnamese. I got the pho and it was pretty good! What an amazing place! I was completely blown away by the quality of the food. You can immediately tell everything was home made, prepared by hand, and made with love. We tried the Thai Dumplings, which was a ground combo of shrimp and pork wrapped in a tender noodle, and served with the most delicious garlic sauce I have ever had. Next we tried the Chicken Satay, which was so perfectly cooked and seasoned. Firm on the outside and soft and juicy inside, it was amazing, but the best part was the peanut sauce... it was an explosion of flavor. I wish I could pick out all the unique flavors in it. We got the Drunken Stirfry add lo mein noodles, which was great. Some spice added a nice touch, and all the veggies and meat were cooked perfectly. The mushrooms soaked up so much flavor We also got the Pad Thai, which was the best Pad Thai I have ever had. The meat, the noodles, the sauce, it was all perfect. The only thing missing was spice, so our waitress brought out a cup of their chili oil with their home grown chili peppers, and it was actually the star of the evening! It's not super hot right away, it actually has a semi sweet flavor, and then the heat grows in the background and creeps up to a nice burn. I drizzled it all over the Pad Thai, which took it to the next level. Not only was the food amazing and of the best quality, our waitress was also just fantastic. You could tell she was proud of the food they served, and we trusted every recommendation she made. She explained the dishes, explained the heat levels, and even took the time to do a chopstick tutorial for me, even though she was the only server there and was busy. She was friendly and represented the restaurant perfectly. Overall I can't rate this place high enough. We will be back all the time, I cannot wait to try more of their menu! read more

First time here and the food is AWESOME!! So glad to find Thai AND Japanese food in one place. I'm from North Carolina where they have Hibachi galore so I was a little skeptical since I heard Hibachi was new to Akron and becoming popular FAST. As a new restaurant the place was packed but the food was worth the wait! They were short staffed as anywhere else but they made sure I had a delicious experience. I will definitely recommend to more locals and out-of-towners as well. This was food from two days in a row. Everything I've tried so far was cooked to perfection. I have absolutely no complaints... Ok, I left a review recently but must leave another based on my last couple visits. This place is BOMB. With just about everything I try, I end up thinking it is the best I've had (recent examples: Tom Yum soup + yellow curry... freaking amazing. Plus, the nicest people work there. Wow!! I am thoroughly impressed with this place. I never write yelp reviews. I even signed into my Facebook just to login and do this review. The food is exceptionally good. The hibachi is so delicious, a very mild flavorand you don't feel like you've eaten entire container of salt afterward! Their spicy Yum Yum sauce is really good and light with a little bit of heat, which is nice. They have Kani salad which is my absolute favorite appetizer that most places don't have. It was so delicious. I also got the "bubble tea" and for my liking it could have been a bit less sweet but it was still so good. Wish the cup was larger absolutely a customer now. read more

Went to this establishment because of the 5 star rating on yelp my husband ordered the pad Thai and thought it was a 3 on 1 out of 5 scale I ordered the sweet and sour chicken was it was a 1 if that chicken was old sent it back and told them it did not taste good they did not ask to replace it So I ordered a side of fried rice when it came tasted like fake smoke when bill arrived the sweet and sour chicken was still on the bill as was the fried rice I Had to ask to have the chicken removed. JUST BAD ! Takeout-order wrong, upcharged for 2 fried rice. Only 1 white rice in bag. Called, they rudely took 1 order off the bill. My basil stir fry was nothing but fresh frozen vegetables w ungodly hot sauce and 3oz of overcooked dry rubber chicken I did choke down, the fried rice is awful! ..dry with no flavor. The egg rolls are soggy and overly salted. Bf ordered sweet and sour chicken. Breaded chicken (horrible ) it was frozen Tyson recooked and dry. Only thing worth paying for is the orange sauce. This place is a joke for its prices vs the quality of food and service. My first time experience was sad. Bags of PF Chang frozen are better. Pad thai is hands down some of the best around the Akron area. I tried the chicken satay today and it was delicious. My only complaint is that the amount of peanut sauce in the little container was not enough. It's so good that I could eat it all with one chicken skewer. Next time I will ask for more and I'm sure they will include it. Great personal service at this restaurant. read more

I ordered shrimp/chicken/steak combination hibachi with hot tea, yummy the portion size was enough for me to eat lunch the next day. Everyone said they would definitely be returning. I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi no mushrooms and gyoza. The gyoza was fantastic, the hibachi was also great but the sauce portion was not enough in my opinion. Ordered takeout tonight based on the recommendations of a couple coworkers of my wife, and this place did not disappoint! Most of my family got variations of the hibachi entrees and all were happy, but let me tell ya, the "Crazy Noodles" and the "Papaya salad" are where it's at. Noodles have just the right amount of heat, incredible flavor, and are super filling...so the salad will have to carry over til tomorrow. Of course, I did have to sample it though, and honestly I've never tasted anything quite like it, but already find myself really looking forward to lunch tomorrow!
