I had the beef hunan dinner special. I enjoyed my meal except the sweet and sour packet sauce doesn't taste sweet nor sour. I would prob just stick to the mustard. I ordered to go, so can't speak of the service, but the restaurant was clean when I went to pick up my order and the young men at the front counter were friendly. I ordered a sesame chicken combo plate with fried rice and an egg roll, as well as an order of the fried dumplings. Total was around 14 dollars- not bad at all. Especially since I had enough leftover for lunch the next day. Everything I ordered tasted EXCELLENT, but especially that sesame chicken. It was TO DIE FOR. Best I've had yet. I don't know if they got new cooks or management but tonight meal was extraordinary! Big step up from the recent food we ordered. The white rice was fluffy, orange chicken was great. There isn't much in the way of seating inside, but if you're looking for a really good deal on Chinese food, this is a great place to go. I ordered the shrimp hunan and an eggroll. We normally have 2 "go to" Chinese restaurants that we always get food from. On this particular night both were closed so we decided to try a local place. This was a complete disaster. The combination plate I received was $6.75 and the portion size was smaller than a lunch portion. Advertising this as a dinner plate was an absolute joke. Moving on, the pan fried dumplings were the worst I have ever seen. They were obviously frozen and during the cooking process the contents must have trickled out. My wife tried the House Lo Mein. This dish was mainly noodles and hardly any meat. This shrimp were terribly small and the imitation crab meat was a disappointing addition. Bottom line every food item was amazingly small for the price. I don't feel that a single star is merited for this restaurant but we all know the rules. I can guarantee we will never patron this establishment ever again. read more
