I've heard that there is new ownership. I just went and ordered my favorite general tsos combo meal and it is just not the same. It tastes like honey chicken and is way to sweet. I've also been hearing from others how everything else they have ordered has been tasting different and not as good. Me and my family have been going there for about 20 years now and this happens. If it's not broke don't fix it. There is a reason why Ming's is number 1 and known throughout our county. Please bring back the old recipes. I probably would order but they do not publish their menu online. I need to stop in and pick one up. I'm not sure if they now have in house dining but people love this place. I have ate here for the buffet for years, Because of Covid, they have carry out only. I ordered carry out last week. The food was mediocre. It was also expensive. I ordered a lunch special and an egg roll. The egg roll was miniature and not crispy. The portion for the main entree was very small. Not worth the $7.50 that I paid. I went to eat it in the car and no fork, no napkin, and no sauces. I was not very happy. I won't be stopping back. read more

Not sure why this place is rated so high, the food quality is fair to good, the flavors of the sauces are all the same-soy sauce. Place is a bit run down, and they serve all the food on foam plates and plastic cuterly. I suppose most people that rated this 4 or 5 stars have never experienced high quality Asian food, and when you look at the price for all you can eat it, its okay, maybe 3 stars for the value. This owner is spending a lot less money on food than better Asian restaurants, and not putting to much effort into cooking it, guess they know their cutomers pretty well. This is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. It's a hole in the wall but absolutely worth visiting. The food is always delicious and there's a great value to the buffet. I love Ming Ming! I usually get the general tsos chicken which is crunchy on the outside moist on the inside the chicken is evenly covered in sauce. The lo mein comes in several different kinds/flavors. I also get the beef and broccoli occasionally and I love it. You got lots of beef and the broccoli is cooked perfectly. It's cooked enough that it's not raw but not too much that it's soggy and still has that crunch. They've got a buffet which is a great deal. read more

Have lived in Orrville for 18 years. Many Chinese buffets have come and gone, but Ming Hing has stayed. Me and my friends go there for lunch at least once every two weeks. They are very sweet people and know my order before I even get to the counter. read more

i hadn't been there for over 5 years because of a rotten vegetable i'd gotten in some vegetable fried rice... that and i'd witnessed the kid dipping grease from the deep fryer into a wok to cook my food, which made it taste fishy. This time was no different, i'm afraid. i paid $7.75 for an order of Szechuan Broccoli (they informed me that they don't offer Szechuan Green Beans, as most Chinese places do)... when i got it home i found that it must have been prepared with deep-fryer oil again, because it was so greasy i actually couldn't eat it. it was truly revolting, and only got more congealed and gross as it cooled. i wish i could post a pic here, because it made for a lovely photo... read more

Best Food for the price ,Really Loved it and Wide choices.

The food was excellent. This was our first time here - we had the best Shrimp Toast around - not many Chinese restaurants make it, and if they do, they usually burn it! This place cooked it perfectly! We had pork egg rolls, wonton soup, Gen Tso Chicken (yummmiest sauce anywhere), Chicken LoMein (perfectly done with just the right amount of sauce). The employees were friendly. Keep in mind that if you go here for DINE-IN - bring a set of silverware. The plastic spoons, forks & knives are so cheap they broke! But we will definitely be back. Ming Hing has been around a long time and we have been eating there throughout most of that time. The food is great and the price is very reasonable and it's always ready when I do take out in the evening. The lunch buffet is also reasonably priced and the food is always great then as well. My wife and I visited ming hing for the first time yesterday, 09/17/16. we were skeptical as always when visiting Asian restaurants, but the owners greeted us with open arms and the food was fresh, hot , and OUTSTANDING. As we enjoyed our buffet, the crowd of locals grew and kept coming, with everyone raving about this restaurant. If I am in the Oraville area I am going here over the other buffet. With that said, they have a very, very small selection of food. I normally prefer to see chicken down a good 67 different ways. Here there's only three different ways. So, I will leave here if I'm in the area and I give it one more star than the other place, But it really isn't that great.
